My fam and I loved the outdoor patio, the friendly staff greeted us, cleaned a table for us and we were seated immediately. We urgently needed coffee ☕️ and Anna brought it out with speed. Hot hot fresh brew.
And then we ordered breakfast 🧇 🍳🥞. French toast and Pancakes special, home fries, eggs 🥚, bacon 🥓 sausages…. Wow it was quick service. Great 👍 food.

Food is still good. However, if the cooks spent as much time concerned with the orders as they do chatting (including profane language) the orders would come out as they should. Over medium eggs are not hard! Have some respect for the public you serve and learn what professionalism is!

Our server was spectacular. It's clear to see she enjoys her job and has customer service in her DNA. I'd give Mount Royal Family Restaurant high rating because of her and also food was delicious as well. Looking forward to going back.

Words cannot describe how good this place is. Honestly one of the few restaurants that have a fresh taste in their food , after long time I found tasty and fresh food here. I Would highly recommend, and would frequent more if I lived closer. Definitely give it a try.

Mount Royal Family Restaurant is one of the best places to eat in Burlington whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The food always tastes great and the portions are without rival. I eat more than anyone I know and I still end up taking some of my meal home sometimes. I highly recommend checking out Mount Royal Family Restaurant for a great meal.

Had a fantastic experience! All of the food my family ordered was great, from the steak, to the omelette , to the potatoes and the giro, All very tasty with good portions and pretty reasonably priced. Very good service too! Definitely will be coming back!

Great diner for brunch with friends. The prices here are great for the portions, and the food is consistently great and prepared fresh. The menu has lots of options to choose from, and you can sit both inside the restaurant. They don't take reservations for , so be prepared to wait a bit, particularly with later groups. Definitely worth dining in here!

Recently enjoyed Brunch here with my wife after my friend told us about this little Gem in Burlington No special occasion but the food and service made it special. Home fries were home made and food was so fresh also Our waitress was very informed and attentive, Great menu selections and very tasty. We’ll be back for sure. love this place.

This used to be a great restaurant. Since new owners took over they have tried to freeze you out all winter I don't like to keep my coat on and still feel cold but thats what you had to do. Salads are getting skimpy. Used to be great. There used to be waiting lines in the restaurant but not anymore. The new people are killing their own business.

The owners surely affect the rating. This restaurant is grossly over-rated on urbanspoon. We went thinking of getting good greek food, ordered the souvlaki which was jelly-textured, obviously low-quality frozen meat. It also came with a side of super mushy rice...yum. Overall, it's not terrible, but it is really over hyped, the rating should be closer to 60-70%

First Choice for Anytime of the Day. My dad and I would try to meet here at least weekly for lunch, our favourite place in town. I'm always amazed to see the same patrons week after week so that tells you right there that the food is consistently great. Large portions, excellent food and the staff will make an extra effort to to be speedy when you are on your lunch hour. During the last Olympics my dad and I stuck around to watch the end of the men's hockey. What a great moment when everyone stopped and sat together, including the chefs, to cheer on our team. My dad passed away suddenly in May and when I could finally muster the courage to return the girls asked where my dad was. When I told them he had passed away they hugged me and shed a few tears themselves. This spoke volumes of how they personally care for their patrons!

Love It!. Great family restaurant. I eat here all the time and order take-out quite often. It's one of those restaurants that are always packed but it's never a long wait for a seat. The service is always fast and friendly. Those servers keep things moving and work hard! I've yet to have a meal that wasn't thoroughly enjoyable! Highly recommended.

Enjoy my meals. I love this restaurant, they have amazing food and are not skimpy on portions. They are always packed and that shows this is a great place to eat! Only thing I have had issues with is waiting, sometimes the waitress' are soo busy you have to wait. The majority of the waitress' are super friendly which is super, there is one however that is not so watch out =)

Best Breakfast in town!. Absolutely the best breakfast. Three eggs, toast they way you want, real potatoe hash browns done on the grill and not in the deep fryer. Friendly quick service. If you're not into breakfast they have so much more.

Mount Royal Breakfast. I visit this restaurant probably 4 times a week for breakfast and sometimes the lunch special. I only went there because it was near my house. The breakfast is well priced and exactly what you ask for. Souvlaki with a Greek salad is amazing although I would recommend the chicken over the pork. I usually like the Pork souvlaki but these guys do the chicken with a killer marinade. I would also note that the salad had plenty of feta which shows me that they aren't cheap. Probably my favorite rastaurant in Burlington right now. The servers are mostly friendly but the ones that aren't have character so you want to tip them anyways.

Great Breakfast(s)!. I have only eaten breakfast(s) at 'Mount Royal'. Whether it is ordering for take-out while at work, or eating in before I go to work (I work down the street in Burlington), I have never had a bad breakfast at Mount Royal. My only complaint is: once while a group of co-workers were placing an order, I ordered a ham & cheese omelette. To my disappointment, I did not specify 'cheddar' cheese and instead had a ham & processed cheese omelette. I chalk this up to experience, and now order my meal precisely how I want it - lol! The portion size(s) are excellent value for the money, and the service has always been exceptional. Keep up the good work Mount Royal!
