Review Son Of A Peach Pizzeria - Burlington

High quality pizzeria, taste is truly amazing. We tried the Fig Pizza, and it was amazing. Fresh ingredients and at the perfect location, enjoyable every season. No dine in yet perhaps due to the covid situation. Make sure to order ahead of time, wait time about 30-45 min if busy.

Food was great - everything we ordered was very good, tasted fresh, and Cooked perfectly. Service was quick and very friendly. Drink menu could be more expansive but they are without a bartender at the moment so very understandable to keep it minimal and easy.

This is quite a nice place. The decor is really defined by an awful lot of lights hanging from the ceiling. They're kind of cool. The pizza is pretty good. I've had better but it is pretty good. They use the pepperoni that curls up and that's kind of neat. There's one appetizer that's kind of interesting. It's called the board. It is a charcuterie board with a fresh baked hunk of pizza dough. All in all I would recommend this place. It's kind of fun.

We went here on a sunny afternoon to have lunch. They are not open for dine-in and they only have their patio available; which is cute and colorful. The staff were friendly and we received good help with choosing our meal. Our order included "Caesar Salad" and "The Meatza" pizza. I really loved the dressing for Caesar salad and the pizza dough and crust was perfectly made. I also loved the pizza toppings.

Love the Hawaiian pizza especially the pineapple on top. Such a large portion for a good price. Nice environment here at the Village Square. The food came pretty fast which is good. Will definitely return for other flavors.

We went here today afternoon for late lunch. After strolling through spencer smith park we were hungry and this was the perfect place. The ambiance of the place is really good and service was impeccable. We ordered bbq wings and bbq chicken pizza. Both were very tasty and with enough quantity. We enjoyed pur lunch today at this place and would recommend it to my friends if they visit the spencer smith park which is right across the street.

The most delicious pizza I've had ... Ever! That's a big claim. :) But my Burlingtonian was delicious and absolutely worth the wait/drive if you're not local. Paired it with the spiked peach iced tea. I wish I took a picture of the chicken wings because they were also delicious - crispy, sweet, tangy, and generous sized. I would absolutely come back again!

The crispy cauliflower is super delicious! The pizza was nice and light and the ceased salad was refreshing! Sat outside and ate, nice and shady. Friendly staff and nice location!

Food was excellent, a number of toppings are house made and only adds to the food's overall impressiveness. The calamari appetizer I had was melt in your mouth awesome, not at all chewy. The staff was absolutely phenomenal, my waitress was very attentive, pleasant to be around, and provided incredible service. But as a single diner I found the portions, and prices, geared more for 2-3 people for the small pizza and 4-6 people for a large. I would have liked smaller, more economically priced, personal sized pizza option. This would also make it easier to bring my family, some of whom are picky eaters, as we could then order multiple personal sized pizzas. Would I go again, you bet - the food *was* excellent - but next time I'm taking someone with me to share; it was almost too much food a single person (had I not been on my feet all day, thus being incredibly hungry, its likely I'd have taken half my pizza home with me).

Nine of us (6 adults and 3 kids) went for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The blue pastel decor and the friendly wait staff made for a warm, inviting atmosphere. There was music on in the background (at one point I detected Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N' Roses), but at most points it was barely noticeable. Between the group we ordered a couple caesar salads, garlic knots, a large pepperoni pizza (half cheese for kids who didn't want pepperoni), and a large spicy salami and honey pizza, and a burger (for one us who had a hankering for some meat). The food came within a reasonable time and it was all quite delicious. The cost to feed all nine of us (before tip) was about $140 so it was on the higher end for pizza and burgers, but would definitely consider returning. All in all, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Just had yet again another great business lunch at Son of a Peach! Great service by Rob, to go along with the best pizza in Burlington is a winning combo. For all those people complaining about the price, go to Dominos or Pizza Pizza... I’m sure the $9 Walk-in special will leave lots to be desired. You’re paying $25+ per pizza for premium quality & ingredients in a great setting in downtown Burlington. Always a great experience, highly recommend it.

Very good pizza. Straight up on that. Service was attentive and speed was good. I've eaten pizza all around the world, including Italy just a couple weeks ago. Don't let anyone tell you Italians don't do spectacular pizza. But I digress.... The toppings are fresh and many times made in-store, so you can't go wrong there. I'm a bit shy about the cost, which struck me as a bit steep. I'm not comparing to the big box chains, but to good hand made pizza in artisanal shops and most would serve the single serving pizza around the $14 to $17 price points against SOfAP which runs in the $23+ range. But, these places are not in the downtown of Burlington. For this quality, I can think of no other in this area.

Our server Hannah was fantastic! Bee Sting pizza was a bit pricy but very good. The calamari was cooked very well I just wanted more sauce. I asked for a side of marinara and it was brought right away. Thank you Hanna for your friendly and timely service. I’ll be back.

Had my first visit to son of a peach today and it was incredible! Our waitress was great, our food was amazing, and it was cool to watch our pizza dough being hand tossed, in the air just like you see on tv! We ordered the garlic knots-which are mind blowing- as are the chicken wings. We were full and took our pizza to go. Threw it in the oven several hours later and I've gotta say it tasted phenomenal! They've also crafted an incredible Caesar, everything we had was exactly perfect. I will be back, many times. Overall the decor and atmosphere was totally cool! Amazing patio as well. Keep up the good work!

Pizza is great but a little pricey. Good crust and sauce is perfect. Don’t order a glass of house wine. You won’t like it cause it might have been made yesterday! Our service was inattentive till another chef came in at around 1pm on Saturday and he seemed to be the “A” team with a sense of urgency and quality that should pervade the kitchen. Cauliflower appetizer was delicious. The bill for two people: one small Pizza, cauliflower app and one glass of house wine came to $50 plus 18% tip. Have full tip due to shift coming on duty. Tried it. Good but would not drive from Oakville for it again.

Not impressed this second time. We arrived at 2:30, not busy at all but the entire place was dirty. Food on the floor, dirty chair and we sat next to the window which was filthy. We moved from the bar to a table that was supposedly just wiped but the chair and floor were dirty. I wish I didn't wear white pants! Wings were not tasty at all but pizza was good. The service was friendly but we felt very rushed! Too bad cause last time we enjoyed. Sorry to say we won't be back.

Came here today for lunch for the first time- waitress wasn't the friendliest. Garlic knots were to die for so it set the tone right for the pizza we were expecting- order the hi-cheese. Honestly worst pizza ive ever had.It was 100% ricotta cheese. Paper thin (which isn't always a bad thing) but in this case it was. When we were finished we waited forever for the waitress and the lady making the pizza had to go get her so we could pay our bill. For a $33 pizza I expected way more. Won't be back

I am from California and I have eaten pizza around the world. By far the meatsa and the Hawaiian were excellent. The sauce ratio to cheese, toppings, etc. was perfect. I loved the atmosphere, too. Delicious and highly recommend.

Son of a Peach was incredible! The food was on point and our server, Emma was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

First off, food was amazing. Garlic knots and pepperoni pizza were really to die for. But that's where it ended. Service was a little rude and Extremely slow. We went for a quick lunch and spent 1.5 hours there, waiting most of the time. Took about 30-40 mins for the garlic knots and another 20 after that for the pizza. Had to hunt down the waitress for drinks who wasn't too interested in asking us what we wanted to order. Chairs super uncomfortable, like awful, I would have been more comfortable on the floor. Super small tables and uncomfortable setting since everything is overly tiny and I'm a small person! I won't go back, simply because I don't want to wait to eat lunch an hour after I'm hungry. I may do take out, but I would call ahead by 2 hours!

Pizza was tasty, though we watched it sit and get cold for about 8-10 minutes before our server noticed and brought it over luke warm. It was 5pm on a weekday and the restaurant was not busy. Service was less than friendly and very limited wine selection by the glass. Chairs were not designed for comfort, not ideal if you are sitting for any length of time.

We walked in last night 10 minutes before closing and the staff was awesome and totally accommodated us. Pizza, Wine, friendly staff made for a very enjoyable evening. Definitely recommend Son of a Peach🍕🍷

Best. I enjoy all kinds of pizza but this place is hands down the best overall I have ever had.

We drove up from Buffalo, New York on a Saturday evening to check out this particular restaurant. After an initial miscommunication about a table, Madisen was very apologetic and accommodating (wink wink) and went above and beyond to personally take care of us because of our long drive. We ordered the fig and prosciutto pizza along with a summer salad and a Caesar salad. (Please note, the Caesar salad is big enough for two people but I was hungry and at most of it myself). The pizza was amazing and this is coming from someone who lives in an area that has amazing pizza. I also ordered a glass of rosè which complimented the meal perfectly. We were the last people to leave. We didn't at any time feel rushed and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to return soon.

Not as good as You Gotta Eat Here made it out to be, but definitely worth checking out. Only thing was tons of flies, got annoying a bit. And we couldn't order a cider because they refused to tap the keg until another keg was dry...
