Review The Works Craft Burgers & Beer - Burlington

Outstanding food here. Portions are pretty big so make sure you're hungry! I ordered the Kevin bacon burger and unlike a lot of other burger places, this thing definitely had a LOT of bacon on it. Thick cut too, just the way I like it. Only downside is that they have Pepsi products instead of Coca cola. There's nothing like a good burger and a Coke.

Really good hamburgers.. tasty and juicy .. the quality if the meet is 1AAA , the salad fresh and the putting sauce and the cheese was amazing.

A little weird but pretty good stuff! Impossible burger had an unusual but not unpleasant... spice rub? I'm not sure. The bottomless part of the fries was unnecessary, you get a lot and they're pretty good. All the toppings were fresh and crispy.

Personally, I believe this place has too much variety on their menu. I understand that people have varied tastes, but there's a lot of heavy reading involved just to get a burger. I love burgers and I often bring visiting friends and relatives to this place as an informal but interesting dining experience but I would never frequent it, mainly due to the unhealthy nature of their menu, and I wouldn't bring business associates to a place like this. That said, their lettuce leaf option as a substitute for a bun is a nice feature for a lighter meal. I am surprised they advertise as a craft beer place because their offerings were very limited (only 3) and I disliked both of the beers I tried. The staff are friendly in keeping with the informal, fun atmosphere and I would give it 4 stars if it weren't for the appalling beer.

I went to The Works yesterday and didn't really enjoy myself. The server was friendly but we had issues with our food. I understand supply chains are not the best right now so it's fine that they were out of avocado, and lemon, and other things. It was a long wait, but I totally understand since it was so busy. However, I was nonplussed when my veggie burger came without any lettuce. I had asked for onion in the burger and it was literally just one ring of onion. My burger just had the veggie patties, one onion ring and egg. My boyfriend's Burger came with mayo but mine didn't. When I asked for some lettuce and onion to add to my burger, the server came back with lettuce and tomato but no onion. It wasn't worth the wait to try to get her attention again to ask for onion again. We both also found the hotter than hell sauce was very sweet. My burger was dry and sad, the spicy die-cut chips were soft and not crisp, and I'm quite disappointed. I don't think I'll be back here because they're supposed to be able to make good burgers here. Who serves a burger without lettuce unless the person asks for no lettuce? We spent over $50 for two burgers and one of them required me to build my own burger. I was also confused because we had two different servers come by and ask if they could take the condiments to other tables while we were eating. They don't have enough ketchup and mustard bottles for their tables?

Delicious burgers! Great service! Love the Tower O' Rings. We took the left over onion rings home and our server told us they are yummy cold the next day and man was she right!! Still delish the next day.

Had the "I'm not spicy I'm picante" burger. It was delicious. Also had a Ceasar Samba, one of the best Cesars I have had

WOW, what a great spot we never knew about. The atmosphere is really cool in this place, and the staff seem to be happy to serve. The menu has a burger for all taste buds, and the sides are awesome too. We were very happy with our lunch, the price was reasonable and the location is perfect for a downtown tour. Great Job đź‘Ś

Good tasty burgers, many varieties. Pretty crowded place. Service is decent as well.

I tried son of beech and it was nice. Liked the way they serve drinks in Pyrex mugs.

A super family burger joint!
We have visited this place a few times together and enjoy both the service and the food. The gluten free options are super and child friendly.

The Works had the best veggie patty I've ever tasted, but he quality has gone down over the years.

I got the red house burger and even that had changed and was not as flavourful as before. Service was slow. Will not be coming to this location again.

Casual, family-friendly place with overwhelming choice--something for everyone. Wouldn't call it special, but it's a good standby for a burger and fries. As with other The Works locations, their menu has something to teach about the immediate area, which is fun.

Nice change, very good burgers, well prepared a little price but worth the trip from time to time. Way too many things to try all at once pace yourself and have had good luck with the specials.

A subpar burger. Well, we wanted to go to Burger's Priest but it was too far so we decided to try The Works. Well, i can tell how good the food is by tasting their fries. Their fries were not good. They tasted like they were sitting out for quite some time, possibly under a heat lamp.

The burger itself was flavourless and DRY. To be frank, think this is inexcusable. For a place that serves burgers you would think that the burgers would be juicy and moist. Not so much here.

We were fortunate enough to have a pleasant yet over zealous server which was nice but it did not save our overall experience. We will not be back.

I think Harvey's/Wendy's/BK and even MCD's burgers are better for a fraction of the price.

We were there as a family of two adults and two teenagers. Casual restaurant. Good vibe. Lots of gluten-free options for the celiac's in our group and the staff were very aware of their products. For a chain restaurant this seems to be a very well-managed place. Fries were surprisingly good.

Best Burlington burgers I've found yet!. My wife and I are regulars at this joint when we need our burger and onion ring fix.

I always get the Smoky mountain (typical bacon burger with cheese and bbq sauce) and she loves the three ring burger or binder, cant remember what its called lol but it has 3 onion rings in it. I always upgrade my side to Onion rings because they are awesome with the Beach house sauce, and my wife always upgrades to fried pickles.. which taste quite good and I dont like pickles. My wife cannot dine here without getting her Odyssey milkshake. I'll give her tastes some credit, as this is one thick, rich, delicious shake.

The atmosphere is pretty cool, the service is fast.. It's popular, so we have had a 45 minute wait at peak dinner times... still totally worth it.. The windows are garage doors which they roll up on a nice day, was great to sit in the windows.

Prices are a bit up there, with 2 meals + side upgrades, 1 drink and 1 shake and a decent tip.. you're looking at $55. Of course if we were a bit more cautious on money, we could probably dine here for $30 tip in.

The only negative experiences I have had here were during the Bacon event.. Where I tried the bacon wrapped chicken breast, battered and fried.. topped with bacon and beach house sauce. It could have been incredible, but the fried concoction was well overcooked and tasted burnt and dry. It still tasted good with sauce and I should have returned it, but I was too hungry. I also had a burger with mushrooms and the mushrooms were very overpowering, you cant go wrong with a staple bacon cheeseburger though.

Burgers Always taste great, sides taste awesome, will happily return as a regular.
All in all, an excellent burger joint which is second only to Cool Cat's Cafe in Maui, Hawaii (in my books).
However I hear there are several places in Toronto which are better.. I will have to put them to the test when I get the chance!

Amazing!. Just by chance, my party ended up at this location. The service was amazing, food was delicious. A must try! Would recommend this location to anyone! And it was worth the long lost drive.

I can't believe I'm the first to rave about the Works in downtown Burlington. This place is amazing, with a super cool atmosphere.

The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro opened in Burlington, Ontario last November. It has been quite the buzz of town since then. My husband and I arrived there at 6 p.m. and there were already a line-up there with about 20 people inside and outside combined. Fortunately, it was only a twenty-minute wait and on the positive side, we were more hungry and ready to enjoy our meal. This was no ordinary burger place. When we finally sat down, we were given a menu which instructed us how to order our burgers in five steps. Step 1 was easy; we had to decided on the pattie. My husband chose beef and since I was in an adventurous mood, I picked elk. The second step appeared overwhelming. There were about 80 toppings grouped under six categories with names such as Born To Be Wild, World Tour, Veg Out, Carnivore’s Corner, etc. I picked Dead Ringer from Top 10 Burgerhead Faves. The description of the ingredients said brisket, jack cheese, smokey BBQ sauce and onion rings, but I still could n
