It was my first time there and it won’t be my last - service and food were both great! Wonderful and warm ambience. I thought it was a little high on the $$ side when I first looked at the food and cocktail menus BUT that said, once I received my meal - it was worth every $$$!! Extensive wine and martini list - I would highly recommend this restaurant!!
Always a great experience between the super staff (Thanks Carl, Amanda, Jen, Ian and Jody), great food and super fun customers (Erin and Carl it was great to meet you).
Awesome! Always a treat! Highly recommend. Had the short ribs and seafood fettuccine both were delicious, the ribs were sooo tender. The key lime pie & creme brûlée delicious. Service was great, Carl was our server - very personable and attentive and Chef Derek is the best!
Great vibes, service, cocktails and of course food. One of my favourite bars ever. Love their martini called blue blue lemon. Have been coming here for years!
What a beautiful setting and friendly staff! The food here is excellent - I have never been disappointed!
We were a group of 7 including 2 children, The food was amazing and everyone's steak was cooked to perfection. Best of all was our server Colleen. She had a great sense of humor and treated us like family. Thank you for a memorable evening
Such a great restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, great martinis, appetizers and mains. Dessert was delicious and the cotton candy finisher was so much fun! Our first time eating there and we will be back!
My favorite spot downtown Burlington for any kind of occasion, be it a special celebration or just a relaxing get together !
Great food and wine - martinis galore! Lunch and dinner both times totally enjoyed them both!

Had a wonderful birthday lunch with the girls, I could have given 6 stars but they will have to get bigger martini glasses first ! We all enjoyed our lunch. Will go again when in Burlington for sure.
The Martini House is amazing. The food was fantastic. The seafood pasta was great and yummy. The staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. Always a great time.
The filet mignon was melt in your mouth but I have to say my favourite part was watching the oyster shucking and learning that the building used to be a Butcher's Shop back in the day. #Heritage #DTBurlON Thanks for the treat Kelly Arnott!
Martini House is amazing! Obviously a huge selection of delicious martinis, but LORD THE FOOD! Best meal I have had in my life hands down. Had a hard time deciding what to order since everything looked amazing. Ended up trying some oysters, salad, fig pizza and gnudis. All of it was unreal! We were also given free cotton candy for dessert! Going to be dreaming of this meal tonight.
I went here for lunch yesterday with my dining group. It was our first stop on the Taste of Burlington event. i had been here before and had tried a few of the numerous martinis offered ( this list seems endless)
Atmosphere- It is a located in an older red brick home with an extensive patio that is lovely to sit on in the summer. Inside is divided up nto rooms. Each room has groups of smaller tables. White table cloths and beautifully set tables were in order when we arrived.
Food- The group as a whole tried every option on the Taste of Burlington menu - An appetizer, main, and dessert for $20.
Appetizers- 1)Roasted butternut with Asiago, brandy and braised apple soup with herb butter and spinach- Really smooth but some more spice could have been added ( nutmeg or garlic--- anything) 2) bhel puri salad and coriander pesto puffed wheat noodles with tomatoes and tamarind-I was told it sounds better than it tasted. Not a wow! but good.3) romaine and kale salad - again. No wow factor but good. Mains included 4) grilled mozzarella cheese with prosciutto, tomato and chill on sourdough - Great sandwich and very filling 5)Tandoori chicken naan wrap with with mint chutney- very good and fresh cilantro 6) Salmon burger topped with smoked lemon salmon with roasted red pepper mango chutney- This was the favourite. This had Wow! appeal in looks and taste. Desserts included-7) vanilla creme brule- excellent and double sized. 8) apple bread pudding and ice cream- good but the creme brule trumped it by far. They ended the meal with their special cotton candy at the table . after the creme brule no one really needed more sugar but it looks so nice on the table.
Service- Efficient but very busy ( i guess fr the Taste of Burlington) No time for extras. The courses came out fast, fresh and hot. Waitress not overly friendly today but she was extremely busy.
Impression- Good meal with a few standouts ( Salmon burger and creme brule) I will be back for sure
Edamame - Escargot - Cesar Salad Excellent Choices!. We go here frequently-we love the above mentioned appetizers - but also the Dragon Noodles are excellent as well - add shrimp and kick it up a notch!
We love Carl & Laura - big shout out to them huggggs!
My friends and I had reservations there for Friday night at the 9pm sitting. Party of 6 - three couples.
The drinks were delicious - I had one called the "Ass Candy" (it was a $12 drink!) and then shared wine with my other friends. Our appetizers were delicious - we shared the calamari, crab cakes and the bruschetta. The fried chicken was a hit at dinner - nice and crispy and the mushroom sauce was so delicious with it. The creme brûlée for dessert was the perfect finish.
Waitress was efficient but she could have smiled more. The whole restaurant was really hot - we spent most of the night getting our water refilled and fanning ourselves.
We'll definitely be back... Just on a cooler night!
Great food and service. Great location and reasonable prices
Favorite. A favorite place to dine in downtown Burlington. Inventive menu always done to perfection in my experience. Highly recommended.
Went there Sat. night with reservations and sat upstairs. Service was prompt and martinis excellent (of course). Had the seafood chowder to start ...very creany, nice flavor and not salty. Highly recommended. The other couple we were with had the seafood bisque... Again very nice. I had stuffed chicken special which presented beautifully on plate. It had a light breaded coating that melted in your mouth. I would honestly say it was one if the best meals I have had. My wife had seswon (sp) beef which she liked but wasn't hot enough. My wife's friend enjoyed her pasta and vegetable dish but said it wasn't enough. To me the portions were just right but if you go there be sure to orer and apetizer. We had the cookies and cream desert which again was a work of art. Very classy place. To our surprise when we left downstairs was hopping ... Crowed and noisy. It was like a totally different restaurant. Eat upstairs for conversation without screaming.

The carbonara was pretty good, but I would’ve liked it with some spice. (What can I say — my parents are Jamaican!) It was a good portion; hard to finish — I think martinis fill you up? Who knew.
Even though it can get very busy here both on the spacious patio on the front, or inside which is a little cramped, the service is very efficient and the waiters and waitresses are always smiling.
Went here with some friends for dinner a few months ago.
It was a Monday so they had $12 pasta specials, which both my friends ordered and really enjoyed. I went for the salmon on the recommendation of our waitress. It was cooked beautifully with a really flavourful hoisin maple glaze. The vegetables it came with were grilled nicely, although a bit lacking in flavour, and the wild rice was slightly hard/dried out in some spots.
We split a bottle of Velvet Devil Merlot. I'd never even heard of this wine before but I really enjoyed it - and I haven't seen it on any other restaurant's wine list since!
Other than the food, the atmosphere was good. It was relaxed but with a touch of playfulness from the Disney movie music that was being played. It was a great setting for reminiscing with friends!
Chicken wrapped in meat stuffed with sausage was amazing. Duck was superior. Oysters were on point and cleaned perfectly. Food and atmosphere was perfect. Best dinner I've had. Loved the experience in every way. Highly Recommend!
Thank you to the fantastic staff at the martini house. I held a baby shower for my daughter-in-law. The menu that was put together for me was amazing. Along with a table full of appetizers before lunch that were just simply Delicious.
Absolutely everybody loved all of the fantastic food. The service was outstanding and if you've not been to this venue it's absolutely charming. Highly recommend.
Popped in for a late dinner on a warm Wednesday evening, sat on the patio, it’s a good location in downtown Burlington, always something happening during the summer after a long winter of being indoors.
The patio is tiered and build around an old home that is “the Martini house” now and the old home of a meat butcher…. How appropriate!
Had the salmon dinner, which was delicious, and the right portion size, so eager to eat it I forgot to take a picture…. As it was beautifully presented.
Service was friendly, well timed, atmosphere was nice, and food excellent
Will definitely be back
We had our office Christmas dinner at the Martini House last night and it was likely the best meal I’ve ever had and our server was wonderful. I will definitely be going back very soon. I’m not the best photographer, but the meal and experience was incredible and had to share.
I’ve been to the martini house many times and it’s always a wonderful experience.
Slightly upscale but not stuffy, the ambiance is lovely and inviting. It’s a great place to celebrate birthdays, have a date night or a ladies night out. The food is incredible, the martinis are wildly delicious (be careful because they do pack a punch!)
The variety of martini flavours is lovely although my favourite is a dry grey goose martini with blue cheese stuffed olives!
If you haven’t been yet, go, you’ll love it!
Friendly staff, and good food - depending on what you order. I recommend the duck and as dessert, the sphere chocolate.
Carl took excellent care of us at our lunch out. He was attentive, friendly and made our time at Martini House amazing. The food was delicious (we had the wild mushroom pizza and the pasta of the day). The Asian Nachos were delicious! Definitely recommend!
