Was on a business trip and decided to try this place out. Its a little over priced, but would happily visit again if I'm in the area. Their food tastes fresh and the flavours really pop out It has a pretty cool atmosphere thats clean and has a friendly staff. I ordered a power bowl and a green warrior

The sweet potato burger is SO GOOD. The whole meal is surprisingly filling while not making you feel super heavy. I dined in, and the service was good too. I definitely will make this a regular stop whenever I come to Burlington!

I arrived in Toronto by train from Vancouver on Friday. Friday night I went to the bar with Kyle, Greg and Sean. Saturday I was delivered back to Burlington. After a night out, I decided to break my hangover by skateboarding to Lettuce Love. I arrived mid afternoon and immediately felt welcomed back to my hometown after one year of being away. After living in the vegan mecca of the West Coast it was refreshing to be brought back to Burlington, where Lettuce Love has been a plant-based staple for years. I remember dining here in my earlier years as a novice vegan. Returning for my meal, I reflected on my how much I have changed and grown. A reminder of how my departure impacted me and not greater community. In my absence not only had veganism in Burlington prevailed, but it has also expanded. If I wondered why veganism was becoming more widely accepted and practiced in the community, the answer was discovered during my third bite. No doubt anyone who is curious about plant-based food will be inspired once they eat at lettuce love. The food is exquisite, offering a wide range of dishes to satisfy the most punctilious of palates. Over the next 7 weeks I proceeded to eat here 6 times, often seeking refuge from my non-vegan surroundings. I had the fortune of having tried 6 different dishes. If that sample is indicative of the entire menu, I assure you that you cannot make a bad choice here. Every time I sat down, I felt replenished by the compassionate energy emanating from the cruelty free environment. Upon consuming my repast to its entirety, I would regain my strength to continue fighting for the animals and people of this planet. As the large sign engineer for Karina Gould’s victorious Liberal party, between canvassing 8 hours a day and expertly installing signs around the city, it was critical that I was properly fueled. Whether it was a nutrient dense veggie burger, a dense and delicious bowl or simply some flavour dense pancakes, I had the energy to peregrinate across the city, delivering democracy. As I am writing this review on the train heading toward Toronto, I already know that my first meal will once again be at Lettuce Love.

Lettuce Love is truly a gem in Burlington restaurant scene. Vegan, gluten free, healthy and really good food. Amazing patio lunch with family. Loved it.

This is our first visit to the Burlington location but enjoyed our lunch in a nice cozee restaurant. Burrito bowl and butternut squash soup was yum max. We will visit both Oakville and Burlington locations often!

Removed my original review, updated Review as of July 2018. I used to love Lettuce Love Cafe, when the ownership changed hands the quality of the service, as well as the quality of the food, has dropped. To be honest the Lettuce Love Cafe I knew and once enjoyed is dead to me, it is an absolute embarrassment that it turned into this from a once great place to eat. To summarize my experience with Lettuce Love Cafe I have been a customer here for almost 2 years, I came every single day for lunch never missing a day for 53 days at one point and tried every single product on the menu and eventually settled on the California burger, which now I cannot stand, it doesn't taste the same like something was missing and honestly I just am so frustrated that it turned into this. To summarize my issues - Dish sizes all over the place, sometimes huge, sometimes small, even in the same dish between days. - Dishes lack flavor, it seems they try to make up for this my smothering it in something spicy, the last few feature bowls have been pretty bad, including the raw bowl which I wanted to love but was repulsed by how incredibly spicy it was after being told it wasn't very spicy. The old recipes are remnants, they taste similar but overall taste profiles have shifted so much so to the unpleasant that I cannot recommend eating here and actively urge people to try other options. - Snap Peas not being trimmed, this happened, I told them, a day later I went back and ordered the same bowl and received the same untrimmed snap peas. You cannot eat the top part of the pea, trim it, it's embarrassing that you don't have chefs/cooks that recognize this. And it wasn't just me, I asked several people who were also regulars for several years and they all received the same product and made the same complaints. - Customer service, before the change in ownership the service was great, it's never been the fastest place to eat but I've honestly sat and waited for upwards of 45-minutes four times in the last several months and several dozen additional 30+ minute waits for single item orders. - Change in quality, Brown Spotted Avocados, Smoothies clearly missing nut butters, dishes being prepared incorrectly, etc. I personally am disappointed, I used to love Lettuce Love Cafe, now I cannot tolerate it enough to even come here with co-workers, intentionally missing days in which they go to save myself from the downfall of this once great establishment. Save yourself some trouble, try boon burger on the street right behind Lettuce Love if you want Vegan food.

As a whole foods vegan with a gluten allergy, it can be really tricky to eat out and get a good meal - which is one of the many reasons that I love Lettuce Love. To be able to choose anything on the menu is such a rarity for me. I have never had a meal here that I didn’t absolutely love. We ate here for both lunch and dinner yesterday and both time we all loved our meals.

This is my Happy Place ! Food is always on point and the service is fast and friendly. The patio is beautiful in the summer, just a few minutes from the lake

I have been unable to eat dairy since I was a teenager....a long time ago. LOL. To be able to walk into a restaurant and order ANYTHING from the menu was priceless!! We had diner here on Saturday and it was delish. I recommend to anyone visiting Burlington. Plus they had beer...which my husband enjoyed just as much as I enjoyed the dairy free menu.

Great food always, even if your a omnivore! They always go above and beyond and even with our daughters list of food sensitivities and allergies she still was able to eat everything on the menu!

I don’t know why anyone would write anything but a glowing review of this place. Fantastic food, great service, & relaxed atmosphere. Does anyone know how hard it is to find vegan AND GF?!? You might find a unicorn first! Please add more locations everywhere! Did I mention even GF beer?!? Wish we had one in CA.
