Review Shogun - Brossard

My first time at a place that cooks food in front of you. Amazing. Worth the money. The food was out of this world and perfectly cooked. The cook chats the whole table up and puts on a good show. If you are celebrating a birthday, they sing to you, bring you cake and ice cream and you can get a photo taken. All the instructions for birthdays is in the menu. Super great service. Don't miss it.

Friendly ambiance with cool "chef cooking for your table" show. Food was great, as was the show. Prices were perfectly in line with the quality received. Will come back!

Horrible customer service. Owner refused to acknowledge his employee made a mistake when taking our order and tried charging us double the amount we were supposed to pay even though there was way too much leftovers. The employee acknowledged the mistake but the stubborn owner refused to budge. Ended up leaving the leftovers on the counter for them to go straight to the trash can and no goodwill gesture from the owner to fix the situation

The service was amazing and fast and the workers were extremely nice also but the food just tasted bland and it was missing flavours , especially the chicken I paid 30$ for 2 small pieces of chicken breast barely even seasoned. I had to tell the chef please add ginger or something in there. He couldn’t even do any tricks like they are supposed to. I don’t think the chef likes his job because he was saying random things and just repeating himself over and over , he made the food extremely quick. Didn’t even do any egg tricks or even put eggs in the fried rice. The lobster , shrimps and scallops all tasted the same. The food was just terrible to be honest I spent about 200$ for 2 people and I think a trio from McDonald’s would’ve honestly tasted better ...it might be just the chef I had was terrible at cooking....

Its a fun place to eat. The food is cooked in front of the customers and the chefs make it a lot of fun. And you meet some nice people as well.

I’m a big fan. I love to see the cook joke with us while cooking our meal.

Everything was amazing, the sushi, the main meal, especially the chef. Great entertainment!

From the first view the restaurant doesn't look all that great but like they say, don't judge a book by it covers. My experience at Shogun was amazing. The food is great quality and the chef we had gave a great ambiance. I definitely recommend this place.

C'est un très bon restaurant quand vous êtes en groupe, les gens qui travail la bas ils sont vraiment gentils et acceuillants. Si vous aimez être entouré de plusieurs personnes c'est le restaurant parfait pour vous!.

Bad service ... Bad food ... don't recommend. I was there just last weekend and it was a horrible experience. After waiting more than 45 min past our reservation hour, we were finally seated and offered drinks and soup, salad, etc... I need to mention that the salad was quite disgusting (soggy, yellowish and tasteless). The soup was way too salty but tasted good.
What ruined the whole night was the vulgarity of the cook. Right from the beginning he stated making sexual jokes and gestures (like rubbing it, licking it, etc...). He also made some very insensitive and insulting remarks about the fact that I am pregnant. .. with my husband sitting right next to me. I mean it doesn't get much more offending than this.
Also, my drink never came, I had to ask for it twice, and my food portion also was missing and had to wait an extra 15 mins after everyone else had already eaten to get my portion. I had ordered the scallops and lobster.
The place is also very run down and does not inspire restaurant cleanliness.
Overall a very bad experience in all aspects.

Who knows after my first experience at Shogun in the States from a few years ago I finally stepped my foot into the Shogun right next to my place. A few bloggers and I were invited for a meal as a token of gratitude to review their salad dressing soon to be available in the market. It was my first time to actually meet other food bloggers. I think Shogun is the perfect spot as it allows no awkward silence and perfectly breaks the ice for you! How is that? Well, Shogun offers great entertainment while preparing the meal right in front of your eyes. The chefs are amazingly entertaining and know how to interact with the crowd. I was very impressed every chef knew how to adjust their jokes accordingly. The vegetable soup. Oddly, we were explained that the soup base was duck (or was it chicken…or pork…) – my point is it is meat base. How ironic. Although it was a clear soup, it tasted rather heavy and made me even more thirsty. I wasn’t expecting that at all. The salad is very basic, but th

Shogun is a teppanyaki restaurant found in Brossard. This is a place to relax with a large group of friends, take the time to enjoy good food and laugh at the chef's joke. The chef cooks for us a wide range of proteins: high-grade steak, lobster tails, scallops, and shrimp. In short, the food was simple and delicious, but not outstanding. I feel that each protein should be cooked in their own and unique flavour. It feels like tasting the same flavour but with a different protein. I guess I am a person who likes contrasts and varieties when transitioning from one dish to another. Our absolute favourite dish would be the baked lobster tail - delicious, well-balanced flavours and a nice succulent seafoody taste. The vanilla ice cream blended with an orange sorbet is the perfect way to cleanse our palate and end our meal. In addition to the restaurant experience, we were also invited to try ou
