Review Pizzeria Sofia - Brossard

Went to Sofia while shopping at 10-30. The service is amazing and staff is really great with the kids and teens. Food is really good from the appetizer to the main course (must try the fried calamari). The reason we gave it 4 stars is because we found the price pricey for the portions given. Italian food should be generous and unfortunately this is far from generous.

If you want good authentic Italian food, this is a solid choice! It has a perfect variety of classic Italian dishes and appetizers. I tried the Gnocchi cacio e pepe, which you don't see very often. Highly recommend this dish. One thing that is annoying is that if you want water, you have to take their bottled water, they don't offer standard water. Overall, this should be on your short list!

It was my first time to this restaurant and I truly enjoyed it. I've always loved Italian culture in general but I am far from an expert, I know enough to know I am attracted to the culture and I decided to spend time learning more. The decor is so gorgeous, when we went inside I was already happy. There were those huge mirrors or windows that had me asking questions for the entirety of my experience: Can I go look at myself there? The food was delicious! like really! and the very nice lady serving us was really friendly and understanding. I ordered a red sangria! BOYYYYY.... THE BEST. Just one thing missing is having free bread on the table but other than that....Oh you will see me AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Ordered a 26$ plate plus fees and taxes of cavatelli and buratta and got spaghetti!! Ontop of that over cooked spaghetti. How is this done? Like seriously, so disappointing and would not recommend. Pizza also came cold, box not even hot or moist to say that the pizza was hot and uncut. But the 26$ for a maybe 18$ plate of over cooked spaghetti is unbelievable.

They serve good quality products and food but unfortunately the lack of service will make take over your evening quite rapidly rather than enjoying your foods. Yes its pricey, but at that price customers expect a certain level of service. Waiters took 20 minutes to come get our order, another 30-35 minutes to start getting our food. It was not even a full house… Portion wise i would expect a bit more but it Dix30 what can we say 🤷🏽‍♂️

It used to be good but since covid things has been going downhill.... My margherita pizza does not have basil leaves....😓 isn't that just a cheese pizza then?

Who? Pizzeria Sofia What? Italian restaurant Why? Pizzeria Sofia will definitely satisfy your Italian cravings. From pasta to pizza, this place has it all! We were there on a Friday night and the place was packed, so definitely reserve before going. We ordered aperol spritz which was mostly ice(15$), fritto misto (fried calamari and shrimps), tortellini rosée and pizza burrata. The plates are definitely not cheap, but the quality was there! The best plate was the tortellini rosée, the sauce was exquisite. One of the biggest issue with this place is how slow the service was (about 80 minutes to get our plate). Also, they do not offer tap water, you have to pay for an Eska bottle (5$) which is pretty ridiculous considering water is free everywhere else. Price: around 50$/person

I went for lunch and ordered a 4 cheese pizza and asked for a glass of water. She brought me a bottle of water (which I never asked for) and charged me… I never asked for a bottle of water. I don’t mind that the prices for food have increased but I do mind when you steal from customers. When I got my bill I was surprised to see a charge of 5$ and she told me that I had no choice and they don’t give regular glasses of water anymore we HAVE to take the bottle of water. On top of it I was eating alone so I can’t finish an entire bottle (waste). Never been to a restaurant before and been forced to order something as basic as a glass of water. You should really take a minute and consider if you want to steal from your customers then there’s a high chance many of us won’t be returning to your restaurant.
