Review La Tomate Blanche - Brossard

The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, but the service has a lot to improve, we didn't have bread on the table, just water. We ordered the main courses where one of the dishes was ordered wrong and instead of correcting the mistake they asked if it could be the one already done. The food was simply tasteless, not even salt was present, I ordered the cod, 36$ and my husband the lamb, 31$. I do not recommend either of these two options. The best part of dinner was the wine and dessert.

Went for a birthday dinner I ordered from 59$ groupe menu. Food was way over priced the salmon had no taste and the donuts I had for the desserts still give me the chills. The only thing memorable was the meatballs I had as an entree and the bread. The staff we’re nice it’s just the restaurant itself. Went back home hungry.

Over priced. Food was awful. Came for my birthday but called numerous times before hand for private room because we were gonna be a big group and because I was bringing my own cake. They said it was 1.50$ xtra per person that was gonna be eating cake, which was fine with me . When I got there, they told me double the price for some reason and they even charged the people that did not ask or take any cake…they said that It was because they already cut their slices(that they didn’t ask for). I felt like they were tryna squeeze out money any way they could. To add on, portions were very small. Only the bread was good. But staff was nice . Overall not worth it

The 'wow' factor was non-existent. Food quality is great, as is the presentation. But the taste was seriously compromised due to the lack of salt in all the dishes we were served. To add insult to injury, there are no salt shakers on the tables. For a restaurant in this price range, I would expect the dishes to have a close to perfect taste profile - but that was far from being the case. As for the service, it also left a 'bad taste' in our mouth. Very slow... Last but not least, the noise level is way above comfortable here.

I'm displeased!!!!! I made a reservation for my boss two weeks ago, and when he arrived at the restaurant, they informed him that there was no reservation!!! When I called to speak with the manager, he said, "I don't have an answer for that," and then hung up the phone!!! What a consummate manager! That's all I have to say about it.

Very beautiful space. The music and atmosphere is soft and lovely. I really enjoyed myself. The food was hot, filling and delicious. It was EXPENSIVE but that's the point. It's definitely a special place for a special meal.

Took my Dad out for a treat after he told me he wanted to have some spaghetti 🍝. What a wonderful night through and through. Delicious food with impeccable service.

Fried calamari was one of the best I had in a long long time and so as the octopus perfectly grilled. Very good Italian restaurant.

Le restaurant est magnifique, la bouffe est excellente et le service chaleureux et conviviale rend l'expérience des plus agréable. Si vous avez la chance d'y aller en été la terrasse est incroyable !

Not what we expected. It might be the best eating experience for few people, but surely not my case. But I have a philosophy: get to know a new place each time and then decide if it’s worth another visit.

Mon resto de prédilection quand il fait chaud et que le vent est doux! J'y vais donc surtout pour sa terrasse en été mais la bouffe est très bonne. Je le recommande... surtout en été si vous voulez vous faire croire que c'est la brise de la mer ;-)

Exceptional food and wine, great service, treated like VIP, enjoyed my evening tremendously, I would recommend anytime.

Ils donnent des couvertes aux gens qui sont sur la terrasse quand la soirée se fait plus fraîche Et la cuisine est excellente !

La bouffe est excellente, par contre les prix sont une peu exagérés pour certains plats. Le service est définitivement à améliorer, défaillant, lent et très impersonnel. Je donnerais quand même une deuxième chance à l'endroit.

Nous étions hier chez vous pour le repas du jour de l'An. Magnifique et délicieux buffet d'entrées (antipasti) à volonté. Les plats de résistance furent tout autant à la hauteur. J'avais choisi le risotto aux langoustines qui fut un grand moment. Mon conjoint, le jarret d'agneau, sauce au marsala et mon amie une escalope de veau. Nous nous faisions goûter les uns les autres par curiosité. Comme nous ne pouvions pas boire d'alcool, ( bénévoles Nez Rouge oblige), notre serveur très attentionné nous a proposé plusieurs sortes d'eaux. Tout était délicieux. Merci pour ce bon moment passé chez vous!

C'est très beau, bon, calme, propre mais un peut cher. Globalement c'est un très bel endroit.

Pour notre part, ce fut une expérience très agréable, nous avons eu l’ocassion de gouter à plusieurs plat étant donné que nous étions 4. Raviolis (le meilleure selon moi!) Risoto, manque de goût un peu, pizza super bonne et les pates était délicieuse ! Belle expérience !!

Très bon souper, excellent service! Un peu cher pour des pâtes par contre mais j'y retournerai ! La terrasse est magnifique.

Un beau souper d'anniversaire pour notre fille de 16 ans. Un service très attentionné. Une belle carte des vins. Les apéros tous très très bons et les portions du souper parfaites!!! Une belle réussite.

Trop chère pour la quantité et la qualité! Service pitoyable, la serveuse ne venait pas nous voir, nous avons du lui faire signes à plusieurs reprises pour avoir du service. Des fois, elle etait au bar en train de parler. Et elle est partie sans nous avertir.... elle n'est jamais venu nous avertir pour nous annoncer son départ. J'espère que tu t'attendais pas à un tip ma belle...

La Tomate Blanche est encore un incontournable sur la Rive-Sud. Le service moins bon qu'il y a 2 ou 3 ans, alors qu'il était vraiment excellent. Mais la nourriture encore excellente, somme toute, vraiment bien. Les calmars frits sont excellents, les cannellonis et le carré d'agneau aussi.

We love this restaurant..never disappointed. I do think the service "could be" a little more efficient BUT it doesn't ruin the delish food and ambiance....

J'ai bien aimé! nous sommes allés pour l'anniversaire de ma conjointe. le filet mignon était excellent, pâtes carbonara tout aussi bonnes. service excellent. petit points a améliorés, nous avons pris des cafés alcoolisés et ils n'étaient pas chaud. et il manque de choix pour les desserts, comme des gâteaux magnifiques. Un menu enfants serait bien également. Nous allons surement y retourné!!
