Review 19th Hole Restuarant - British Columbia

Stunning, local, west coast inspired pottery. The owners clearly love what they do and it shows in every piece. If you can get a chance to visit their gallery in person it is worth the experience. Stop by the Sea&Field Bistro next door while you are there for a great meal to cap off the Gold River experience.

Visited Clayworks Cafe at Gold River on 19th May 2018. Stopped for lunch, ordering Chicken & salad wrap, a Quessadià and two coffees. The fòod was enjoyable and the gaĺlery a bonus. We could have had lunch outside but a little tòo cold. Great place and caves are nearby.

Owners went out of their way to accommodate our group of motorcyclists. Very friendly and excellent food!

I totally enjoy the work of this studio because their pottery is just so satisfying. It ticks all my boxes In their shapes, textures, and the way they are constantly finding new and unique glazing techniques and fresh relevant designs within classic forms. My favourites are the ginkgo bowls in fresh green glazing and delicate organic patterns , and the salmon bowl and plates with their rich earthy colours and the stories the etched salmon tell. Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much Island Clayworks!

Though they no longer have the restaurant side of the business that's ok (even if I miss their food and coffee) this has and will give them even more time on their true love of pottery 😍 each piece is unique and hand sculpted / every detail is hand carved into each item. They truly love what they do and it shows they also remember their customers even if it's been months since they've seen them. True customer service and amazing unique pieces!

A really beautiful cafe located just near the bridge over Gold River... While I didn't have a coffee, I got one of their fruit smoothies and was not disappointed. I almost went back for a second one but I was already up the highway by the time I finished the first one. Their attached studio and in-café gallery is nice to to look at while you're waiting, and I ended up buying a few of their more unique pieces of clay pottery - the designs and workmanship are something I've never seen before. Definitely a must stop kind of place for Gold River!

Excellent decor and vibe for casual eating. Owners locally made pottery ( made in their next door studio) and other Artisan art on display and available for purchase. Been many times and the food has always been great...fresh homemade with lots of healthy options.

Fast and friendly service, amazing food. Best chicken Cesar Wrap I've ever had And don't get me started on the lemon squares 😂 On top of that there's the incredible art work and pottery available for purchase. Sit outside and enjoy lunch with an amazing view!
