Food was good. First time going there. Drove from Cambridge to this place with my family. I wasn't disappointed. It was worth the drive

We experienced lunch first timers and loved it. Awesome selection everything was fresh hot and delicious. Very welcoming staff and great value for the buck. Looking forward to are next visit. Definitely worth checking out. See you soon.

Place is fantastic! Driving in from Hamilton for years. Well worth it, even @ $2.05/litre! Wings & won ton soup are awesome. Food is fresh & replenished often. Price is great. Lunch or dinner- $$ value!

Great for the price. Selection is somewhat limited but there's something for everyone and again the price makes up for that. Peel and eat shrimp are good as well as the seafood sauce which has great flavour and just enough heat. We'll be back for sure!

Food was great, we got the dinner buffet. Huge variety of items - everything was wonderful. Price was very reasonable. Staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

I love the sweet and sour ribs. I am waiting for the mandatory masks to be removed before I dine in. But if I am over near Brantford I will stop in and grab an order to go.

Disappointing Visit. This place usually has Top Notch Cuisine; But, Today's offerings were truly disappointing for me. Many of the Hot Buffet items were either just above frozen(had ice crystals in my mashed potatoes. not joking.) or was lukewarm at best. This was not what I expected from a usual favorite restaurant. Hope they do better in future.

Service is good. They have a wide variety on the buffet. The staff is very nice. They switch out/refill their food consistently. The place is delicious and affordable.

Quick, Variety, Generous Menu. As with any other Chinese Restaurant...in my experience, it could use a little better hygiene in the restrooms. It seems the clientele drive it down a bit perhaps because of the lower prices. <br/>Other than those criticisms....lots of variety in the menu from Canadian to Chinese, generous portions of ham, meats, desserts and fruit...which are typically scant at most buffets.<br/><br/>Good quick place to have a relaxing meal, service quick and courteous.<br/>We arrived, 2 and 4 party groups, on a weekday lunch.

I agree with others about the chicken balls.......but hopefully they read these reviews and change them..........my BIGGEST complaint is the fact the washrooms (ladies) is like walking into a fridge.....dang its cold in there....i enjoy going there and have hooked a lot of people to the restaurant from out of town ...put some heat on and more meat in chicken balls and will have no other complaints from me

Regular Customer. West Garden is a place I come to again and again. It does not take long for them to take you to your seat or bring you your drinks. Every waiter I've ever had (and I've been to this place many, many times) has been very friendly and would come by our table often to take away dishes or refill drinks. My only complaints is the chicken balls have more dough than meat which I do not like, the spring rolls taste like PAM or some other sort of cooking spray, and the ice-cream is so hard it's near impossible to get some out of the tubs. Other than that, all the food is really good, especially the pizza and the cream puffs which are the best cream puffs I've ever had. The price is cheap aswell. One of my favourite places to eat in Brantford.

Under $10. Good selection, hot and fresh. Excellent deal!<br/>No where does it claim to be the Mandarin!

Exactly what you should expect for around 10 bucks. Like the saying goes you get what you pay for.

Dirty. Ice cream scoops look like they've never been washed. Food was cheap and not good at all.

This Place Is The Worst!. I had read reviews about this place and decided to give it a try. I wish I had never gone in! First of all, the place was packed, I would only assume it was because of the price; for lunch, it was only $5.99 for the buffet. It was only myself so I was seated in the back corner at a small table that had stains on the glass. The floor was dirty, the napkin was stuck to the table, and the place looked like it hadn't been renovated in years. A server came to my table, very quick and abrupt, and gave me a glass of water, she didn't even introduce herself. It looked like she was the only server for the whole place. I went up to get my food; I have to admit, there is tons to choose from, but the quality of the food is BAD! Everything was cold, and the flavours of all of the food were bad. I have had Chinese food in many buffets before, this had to be one of the worst I have ever had. The lemon chicken was tasteless, the chicken balls were just big globs of flour mixed together, and the salad pieces were so big I couldn't even fit them in my mouth. The desserts were all processed, and there was no sushi which I was disappointed about. The only good thing was the french fries, only when they were hot. I was lucky enough to get them when they had just come out, and that was the only thing that I thoroughly enjoyed. The ice cream was so hard you couldn't even scoop it out of the container, I only got two small spoonfuls and sat down, I wasn't going to pull a muscle reaching for ice cream. As I was eating my french fries, there was a small portion left, and the server came to my table and took it away! I wasn't even done eating! I had to go up to the front to get my bill, it wasn't even brought to my table. As I was in line to pay, I heard a group of women in front of me telling the owner 'you know, the food could have been hotter' and the owner saying 'oh, I didn't know that, I will have to check it out'. As if she didn't know! Needless to say, despite the price, this place is awful and I will never return.

Good food good service!. Because my family is outta town an my friends an i like to get together my place is to small for all the company so i have introduced an taken alot of people to lunch there .. must say gotten over 15 people hooked its now our meeting spot for lunch regularly.. my favorite is the chicken on a stick an the coconut cream pie.. recommended for food quality an food affordable!

Lunch at $5.99? I found the staff nice and the food good. Great cheap Chinese lunch which includes appetizers, main and desert. Can't ask for more at that price.

Satisfied. We go here often for lunch. Much better meal and costs less than going to Mc D's. The food is cheap, hot and lots of it. Not top quality but not bad for a quick cheap lunch.

You get what you pay for it is dirt cheap and the food is too.

Great. We have enjoyed West Garden Buffet since it opened years ago.It isclean and the food is always hot and plentiful for either lunch or dinner.<br/>There is a good selection of salads and fruits also the deserts (rock) as our kids put it.

The price is right (cheap), but you get what you pay for...
