Burford Bakery made the best dough-nuts ever. Best bread. Best buns. Friendly staff. They are closing July 4, 2020,- due to their new landlords coming in and taking away the BB deli, and raising the rent. Taking away a good portion of their revenue, and demanding more rent in return. I hope everyone in Burford boycotts the new owners - (buying the property was not an option for the crew at the bakery). Why does Burford need another pizza place - walk across the street to one of the other pizza shops. Please.
Nice bakery, came from Brantford, well worth the trip.
Jamaican patties were really tasty, both regular and spicy.
Sweet goods were wonderful, no disappointment here.
Only fault I found in the sweet stuff were the "lumpy" chocolate macaroons.
Not cheap, for sure, but this is a bakery to which you will return.
All I can say is... AMAZING!!
If you like to take drives in the country... make Burford your next destination.
The Burford Bakery is a small town gem... if you like homemade baked goods and breads...this is your place... try it once and you'll be back!!
The fresh sandwiches are spectacular. The fresh sourdough is my favorite. My hubby says the best toasted western anywhere.
We buy cakes here and are never dissapointed! Vanessa does amazing pictures in buttercream icing and the cakes are delicious! Bakalava and other desserts are fabulous too.
The best cakes I have ever had. Great breakfast, quality homemade goods, friendly folks.
Nice bakery with great donuts. Owners are very friendly and everything is freshly made.
