Review Canton Chinese Food - Brantford

I have been coming here for well over 20 years. The food has always been the best i have ever had. I live out of town now and whenever we come into town we grab a meal for 4 special (or 2 ) its the best deal around. The food is always amazing. More importantly the family is amazing that own and run this business. Your supporting a local business that supports their community. When u walk in they always have all photos of the kids sports teams they support proudly displayed on their wall. They are gracious and welcoming when you come into their store.

Hi everyone - After reading comments and reviews about this Chinese restaurant for a while I decided to order from them tonight. The person taking my call was polite and knowledgeable, the delivery time she quoted me was spot on !! The food arrived hot and everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. The Spring rolls, General Tao chicken, Beef with Chinese greens, Almond Soo Guy, Cantonese Special fried rice and Cantonese special Lo Mein. Best food they have some much to choose from go on by for a bite to eat

I unfortunately will not be ordering from them again. We ordered the dinner for four, half way into eating our dinner we found worms in our beef and vegetables. We fortunately were given a refund for half of our order. I highly suggest they properly wash their vegetables better, rather than just steaming them. Other than this experience, the owners/workers are very kind, this was just an unfortunate situation!

Every special occasion we usually go for this my favorite for birthday meals. Hot and fast if ordered off main hours of most dinner times.

Great food with a good price! Couldn’t ask for anything better. Was ready to be picked up and steaming hot when we got it home. Definitely going to go back and recommend!

1st time ordering from this place. The service was friendly on the phone and in person so I'll give them that. The food itself was not worth the $40 we spent on 4 dinners for 1. The food was very boring and bland. The chicken balls and breaded shrimp was in a huge amount of breading. My kids called it "mining" as the dug for the tiny piece of shrimp in the middle. They put your lemon chicken sauce and chicken ball sauce on at the store so by the time you got home everything was a soggy mess. Ask for it on the side if you want to avoid this. I wish I knew. I won't be ordering from this place again.

Food is always hot and fresh. Portions are large and  reasonably priced!  Never disappointed! Courteous and friendly owners too :) Happy it is so close to home!

Love this place ❤ I live around the block and it's the best place to go if you just don't want to cook for the night I really enjoy it ! I'm back from school now and it's the best treat for me

I just had a great dinner. I would choose this place over kings and west garden. Very well priced and delicious.

Really bad. Had the dinner for two,the food was not cooked enough chicken balls were just dough ,the lemon chicken was old possibly boiled taste on a scale of 1 to 10 it was barely a three ,the food quality has really gone down...I WOULD NEVER TRY THERE AGAIN ...

Best kept secret. Love Canton hot fresh food friendly service. You can get dinner for 4 for 22.00 can't beat that been eating there for 12 years we love it you won't be disappointed

Worst place in Brantford. 8 items ordered, only 3 were edible. Dry garlic ribs were nothing more than fatty, grisly chunks of pork?, the chicken balls were doughy with almost no chicken in them and the low mein and beef and broccoli were tasteless.<br/>The best was the fried wonton and orange chicken. When I called to talk to the manager, I was told to go somewhere else. Guess I'll take her advice.

Great Place!. We decided to give this place a try after reading online reviews. We called the restaurant and asked if they had a menu online. The man said no, and we asked what meals would be good for a group of four. The man suggested a few different meal options, and answered all of my questions politely and clearly. We finally settled on 'Dinner Option 4B'. It included four egg rolls, lemon chicken, chicken fried rice, beef with vegetables, noodles with shrimp and vegetables, and four fortune cookies. The total came out to $22.60 (taxes included), and the man said it would be ready in fifteen minutes. We went to pick up the food and was greeted by the man we spoke to on the phone. He gave us our food in a friendly manner. When we came home and started eating, we were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was! Everything was piping hot and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were huge! We had tons of leftovers that we are going to eat tomorrow. We were very impressed with this place and will definitely order from them in the future!
