I have eaten here for over 15 years!! The food has always been delicious! Don’t let the outdated interior change your mind, all their efforts go towards the quality food and customer service! I will be back again real some!

Very good healthy food and really good portions for the price. Fed the family or 5 for 2 meals. Very consistent quality each time I have gone there.

Chicken noodle soup was not bad but Shanghai lo mein is totally dry no any vegetables there.I feel i west money

The food is always very good here. But I was served by a gentleman who had very little people skills and seemed a bit stressed out. Rightfully justified by these trying times.

Prices have gone up allot, I understand that right now but on my last order they also seemed to be trying to save more money on portions and quality.

In my opinion the best Chinese food in Brantford, everything is delicious and fresh and always very friendly service. 100 % recommended

Food and customer service is very good.  Portions are adequate, but not as plentiful as others in town.  Interior is overdue for a face lift, however its clean, and I take out or have it delivered.

Haven’t been to the Shanghai since I was a kid and it’s exactly as I remember! Ordered the Soo Guy some of the best I’ve ever had! The staff was super friendly and made sure everything was as ordered and I was happy. Definitely recommend.

I have been going here over 20 year and my parents went here to, they have great food great customer service. There food is great I have never had any issues. They are a great place to eat at.

This restaurant advertises debit and credit card payments. The do NOT accept cards for delivery orders. What kind of place won't take card payments for deliveries? No website to order from either. With all the mobile debit/credit machines, why can't Shanghai Brantford keep up? This ain't the middle ages...So they have lost my business for good.

Happened to find this restaurant by accident, and I'm so glad that I did. Excellent service, fantastic food. I have both dined in and had delivery, and each time was a great meal. I have never been disappointed with their food, or their attempt to help accomodate some of my picky eating. Would definitely recommend, and still eat there frequently

Not That Great. I decided to give this place a try after hearing about it from others. When I first walked into this place, it looked rundown. It looked as though the place hadn't been cleaned in years. The man at the front noticed I walked in and told me that I could sit wherever I wanted. I chose a booth and the seat was as hard as a rock. There were plants all over the place and the air smelled murky. I had to wait about five minutes for the man to come over and hand me a menu. I took a look at the menu and I ordered my meal rightaway as I knew what I wanted. The meal price was actually reasonable; only $5.00 for an egg roll, chicken fried rice, and lemon chicken. I ordered my meal and it came out within five minutes. It was hot (temperature wise) which was what I liked. However, the meal itself tasted processed. The lemon chicken and egg roll tasted like they were from the freezer; it didn't taste like authentic Chinese food at all. I was disappointed with the food, I thought it would be more authentic than it was. The service was alright, the man did come and ask me how I was enjoying my food which I thought was nice. I definitely won't be coming back to this place. I am hoping to find something more authentic.
