Review Beijing Restaurant - Brantford

I’d give it 5 stars for my 2 fave dishes and only on weekend nights. Front house dude is amazing and remembers me even though I’m not super regular - also helped me to identify my fave things. So freaking intuitive! However, I have ordered here at other times and it has been different - putting too much onion to fill it out or making it (weirdly) too spicy. This place would be better if all the shifts were more consistent.

Tried Beijing Chinese restairant for the 1st time a few months ago, after checking reviews. Very happy with the food. Very satisfied. Pleasant and very nice customer service. I will be back for sure. I was looking specifically for a no-msg restaurant and this is it. They don't use msg in their cooking, although some items already contain msg, as with all restaurants, Beijing does not cook with msg, which for me makes a huge difference. Whenever i have food that's been prepped/cooked with msg, I always feel sick, and I felt fine with this food. Thank you Beijing! Much appreciated. Great food! 👍 Great service. Placed order on New Years Eve - Order was perfect and ready for pick up on time. Food was fantastic along with the customer service - It was very impressive considering how busy they were.

Everything tasted great as always. Lemon chicken was a tad dry but still very good. Extremely friendly service. Love ordering from here!

Extremely average Chinese Food. Definitely not worth the interaction with the rude lady at the front.

Excellent place to order Chinese food from, if you have never try it before. Their lemon chicken and almond soo guy is amazing. It's a family run business and have been serving Brantford for over a decade.  I normally have my food delivered and they're always faster than what they tell you.

Awful, Gross, and now feeling sick.. Worst experience ever. I love absolutely chinese food. I ordered a single meal with spare ribs, chicken balls, chow mein, pork fried rice and egg roll (I order my sauce on the side so Its not messy). My boyfriend ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers with lettuce and fries. I received my food in a fair amount of time, however, they added wonton instead of chicken balls (May have been my mistake in ordering) The food was a MESS even with the sauce on the side. The lettuce on my boyfriends cheeseburger was BROWN and he said they were absolutely disgusting. The fries were very very plain tasting no spices at all not even salt. The sweet and sour spare ribs were mostly breaded bones. I barely could stomach this food. Whatever I did eat made me feel so sick. I called and they offered my next meal for free and I still won't call them back even though its FREE. That should say something for itself. YUCK YUCK YUCK. My dog didn't even want it. Goto Jumbo Dragon or Canton. Customer service was very very good, thoughI just can't stomach going back.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had.. After hearing some good things about this restaurant decided to give it a try. Ordered the #5 meal for take out. Couldn't wait to get home....I was starving. So disappointed!!! Whoever filled the container made quite a mess. All of the rice was on the bottom with everything piled on top, including Almond Soo Guy. So the rice was full of the ASG sauce, as were the spareribs and chow mein. It was all I could taste on everything. Yuck!!! Perhaps instead if doing this they should use 2 containers. Won't go back.

Having tried several local Chinese Restaurants since moving to town, and having not yet found one that was particularly remarkable, we decided to try a new one, and based on reviews we chose Beijing Restaurant. <br/><br/>When we arrived the restaurant <br/>was empty, but we weren't really surprised, because it was quite late in the evening. We ordered several dishes to accommodate our picky kids and because we were hungry. All the food was presented well, arrived hot, and was delicious. We had enough leftover for lunch the next day.<br/><br/>Less than a week later we have already returned. All of the dishes were served quickly and they were again delicious.<br/><br/>This visit we again were served by Nathan. He asked where the children were and asked about our New Year's. He remembered everything we had ordered last time. As an example, when my husband ordered Hot and Sour Soup, Nathan asked me if I would like WonTon Soup like last time. When I was trying to remember what I best enjoyed last time, Nathan reminded me what we had ordered, and also made other suggestions of different dishes to try. We were very pleased with our choices and will definitely return again.<br/><br/>The portions are large, the dishes are full of flavor, and the service is fabulous. <br/><br/>Beijing Restaurant is THE BEST Chinese restaurant we've tried in Brantford, and our search for a great, fast, reasonably priced Chinese Restaurant is over!

Best Chinese food in town, love dining in, Nathan is very friendly and goes out of his way to satisfy his customers, I have recommended bejing to all my family and friends.

Excellent food and pricing. Beijing is one of our all time favorite chinese restarants to go eat.As one of the earlier reviews mentioned the dining room is empty and it seems more of a take out then dine in... well this doesnt bother us as we dont have to wait to be seated, or wait long for our food. I think alot of ppl tend to order chinese out as they do also pizza, you dont often see ppl going out to eat pizza do you?<br/>Never the less Beijing has great prices, fresh made food, great serving sizes and you wont leave hungry.Their Spring rolls are the best ever as is their wonton soup. Our favorite dinner for 1 #4 , wonton soup and spring rolls. Yummy!

Not The Best. After reading all of the great reviews for this place, I thought I would give it a try. I went during the week for dinner. When I walked in, the place was empty, no one was seated. There was the server behind the desk talking to a customer. I went up to the desk and I had to get a menu from the top of the desk, I wasn't even offered one. I told the server I would be dining in. I ordered the fried wonton for an appetizer, and the lemon chicken for the main course. As I was waiting for my items to arrive, I noticed about 6 or 7 people walk in for take-out. It seems to me as though this place is more of a take-out place then a dine-in place. As each person came in to take their food away, the server would speak to them for a lengthy amount of time, most of it was about other restaurants and how badly run they are. The server wasn't discrete about it either, he spoke freely without being worried about who was listening. My fried wonton came about 10 minutes after I ordered it. Then, about 1 minute after the fried wonton came, the lemon chicken arrived. I was hoping to have the fried wonton a lot earlier than the lemon chicken considering it was an appetizer. The fried wonton wasn't too good, the meat inside wasn't too tasty. The lemon chicken was drenched in lemon sauce, I couldn't even taste the chicken, all I tasted was the lemon sauce. I have to admit, the portion sizes are huge, and the prices are reasonable, I only paid $10.50 for what I ordered, and I was beyond stuffed. The server always came to my table to refill my water, so I definitely liked that. The decor of the place was really outdated, and it seemed as though the server was only interested in chatting to customers about the town's happenings. I definitely wouldn't come back to this place, the food wasn't the greatest, and the atmosphere wasn't good either.

Excellent Food !. Beijing is the best chinese restarant in Brantford. Great prices and they give you more sides per dinner for one combinations compared to all other chinese venues.They offer 4+ egg roll where others are only 3+ egg roll.Dinner for 1#4 is my favorite and I also switch the chicken balls for SS pork.Lots of food, great service and you cant go wrong here.

Just stopped here for lunch, food was incredibly fast, the server was friendly and polite, our meals were adequately priced for lunch specials ( I had Singapore chow mein, she had chow mein, wings, and pork fried rice) food was fresh and well done. In particular the chicken is noticibly higher quality than most canadian chinese restaurants. We will eat here again

Best Chinese Food !!. One of the best Chinese Restaurant in Brantford!! Highly recommend!!!
