If you are hungry, come here. Everyone has a Hungry Man's breakfast but few actually follow through. The portions here are large so come hungry. You will leave full. Sincerely friendly service.

We didn’t get a very good first impression considering we stood at the door for a solid 15 min while there were empty tables yet to be cleaned. We weren’t even acknowledged which was rude since staff passed by us several times. We had 2 other couples waiting behind us. Once seated they took a long time to get to us as well. We ordered coffee and they never got around to offering us a refill. We even had to sit and wait quite a while for them to clear the table and bring the bill. Overall the service lacked big time but I’m all for second chances and based on other reviews we will give in another shot because the food was good once it came. Perhaps adding some staff would help on the service end.

Always enjoy this place. Have for years. Large breakfast menu to choose from with lunch items. Can be slow at times, but usually when they are packed. Only thing if you get cold easy, don't sit near the front door.

Their peameal eggs benedict is a must have their hollandaise sauce is so thick and flavorful!!! It is always on point and definitely worth the wait !!! No other restaurant even comes close to the flavors and the textures of Kel's! 2 waitresses do the entire place and it's amazing to see how well they can sever the entire restaurant alone !

I'm not sure why she moved up to new place she is never open!!! will just find new place and forget about this place sick of coming here for nothing hire some staff

The food here is amazing!! The service is ok (they have always been super busy when Im there) but its worth it to go for the breakfast, their hollandaise sauce is the best ive had in years!

I love this place and can honestly say in the numerous times I have attended I have never received a bad meal, not once. The portions are huge and very affordable, not to mention the most delicious selection food any restaurant has to offer... Best home fries in Southern Ontario!!!

My husband and I just went to kel's family restaurant for the first time today and I have to say we were both very pleased with everything! It's hard finding somewhere that serves great breakfast while at the same time provides excellent service. My husband got the pea meal eggs benny and I got the deluxe breakfast. The portions of food that you get is unbelievable! Both my husband and I could not eat everything on our plates and we have enough left over for another whole meal! Most places you go to eat don't give you enough food that you are left still hungry after eating everything on your plate. Everything was cooked perfectly and exactly the way I asked for it. The lady who served us was amazing! Thanks for the superb experience! We will be back again and again, don't change a thing! :)

Best place I've ever been to for Breakfast. Delicious and generous amount for the buck. They are doing dinner now so I'll have to try it soon. New dining room area is spacious and very nice. Terrific staff!

Love the food! Gets super busy at times but totally worth the wait. Good quality, good portions and hardworking staff. Love going back.

This place is awesome....get there early or you'll be standing in line waiting for a table...great staff also who are run off there feet....so leave a nice tip....

Always Awesome...there is no other place in Brantford to compare to this place. Kelly and Paul are great now if we could convince to open 7 days a week.....hmmmm

I go to kel's on a regular basis, their portions of food are heaping and delicious. they have good service, and i like it when the boss lady herself Kelly, serves breakfast.

First visit today but I've heard great things from a bunch of people so I had high expectations... let me tell you, this place does NOT disappoint. Will definitely be going back!!

Best brunch in town, always busy, but worth the wait.

My family and I just finished dining here and we have yet to come away from here with a bad meal. Friendly service, good portions and reasonably priced. We will definitely be repeat customers
