Review Zaza's Pizzzeria - Brantford

The pre-set pizzas are so good. My boyfriend and I had the Portuguese one, and now we want to try out every option to find our favourite. Very yummy! Just went to Zaza's for the second time and got the Quattro Stagioni pizza. I've added a picture for reference.

The best pizza in Brantford. You can taste everything on the pizza. Pepperoni is cut in strips and it is a very good type. Wood oven crust is great. The owners are always so nice. Never rude. Mamas meatballs and sauce are excellent.

I came across this place during a recent detour through Brantford, and when I saw the sign indicating wood-fired pizza, I knew I needed to check it out. My favorite style of pizza is thin crust from a wood fired brick oven (I.e. the kind "invented" in Naples, and perfected throughout Italy). I can confirm that Zaza's does make delicious pizza in an authentic wood fired pizza oven. There are no propane or electric "backup" burners (unlike many other "wood fired" pizza spots around Southern Ontario), and kudos for the good selection of authentic toppings (prosciutto, artichoke hearts, etc). So why only 4 stars you might ask? It was a judgement call, and it is based on 2 observations. #1 - when I eat thin crust pizza, my expectation is that it is 1 pizza per person. At Zaza, it is thin crust, but their pizzas are more North American style - 1 pizza for many people. There is nothing wrong with that, it is just not my preferred style. #2 - and I would this one is more impact full than the previous point - is their choice of cheese. A Margherita pizza is sauce, basil, and (ideally) Buffalo milk mozzarella, OR more commonly, boconcini cheese. Zaza used what I would consider typical shredded pizza cheese, which, in my opinion, detracted from what was otherwise a very good pizza. To be clear, their pizza is definitely top notch, and better than 90% of the competition. They know how to make their dough, and they know how to cook their pizza properly. That is the foundation for any pizza spot, and these guys nailed it. In my opinion, with a few tweaks, in terms of pizza sizing and cheese selection, these guys could really take the Brantford pizza landscape to the next level! I will definitely eat here again. Good food. Reasonable pricing. And extra points for selling rolling papers lol!

Best pizza anywhere near Brantford, family owned, real down to earth guys own it and work behind the counter, just check the hours ahead, they do close down each day and they close on 2 days early in the week I believe... But wood oven pizza done perfect

Great Pizza! We tried the Prosciutto-Arugula & the Portuguese pizzas. Great pizzas. I thought the prosciutto my turn out to be my favourite but so far the Portuguese and the chorizo pizza is fantastic. I’ll definitely be by again very soon. Thank you to everyone at Zaza’s!

Wow the BEST!!!!. I tried the white pizza with olive oil as the base(grilled chicken). Sooo good!!. Zaza's is my ONLY go to now for pizza!!!. Thanks guys!!!💪🏿

Really poor attitude from the owners. Would 100% not recommend eating here as they don't give a stink about you, their customer. We eat here once to twice a week and enjoyed their food. We get the same thing every week and it the total is the same. We went in their tonight to celebrate a birthday dinner and ordered a gnocchi and pizza. We were overcharged and our rose gnocchi which we get literally 2x a week was yellow and not rose ... I called to question this thinking I got the wrong order and instead of apologizing he said he's been making this for 10 years and that I'm wrong and that's how they always make it? And in regard to the overpayment, well he's not going to refund it and I can drive back if I want the cash. I've attached the picture of their "rose gnocchi below ." I can not believe the attitude from THE OWNERS. Very rude and wouldn't recommend giving these people a dime of your hard earned money.

Hands down the best pizza in the Brant area! Being run by a hardworking family, this isn't your typical pizza chain restaurant...the pizza here is made authentic in their wood oven, by Italian hands. The crust is thin just like they make it in the old country. Doesn't get much better than that. Also, being very down to earth people, they'll help pass the time while you wait ��

Food is amazing, service is excellent and the smell from the wood stove is heavenly!

Just ordered for the first time tonight...and it was fantastic! The family vibe is so cute! We ordered the Portugese pizza and the gnocchi and penne with sausage! My hubby was raving about the gnocchi! The sauce is fantastic! Cant wait to try the Ricotta next time...Thank you for making delicious food! �

Friday night ... ordered pizza for my team at Sweet Bakery ! 20 minutes from the time I ordered to pickup... HOT and DELICIOUS !! I think we have found our new favourite pizza place !!

Staff is always very pleasant. Best Cesar salads in town by a long shot and the arancini rice balls are to die for. Try it!!!

Website, Google, Facebook page, and sign on front door said it was open until 8 today. Showed up at 4:57 and place was dark and closed with no explanation, so we took our business elsewhere.

Zaza's is right beside my work at Ashley Furniture and we love it, our go to for lunch!
