Review Blue Dog Coffee Roasters - Brantford

Cool cafe in Brantford that makes the perfect study spot! They have outlets, WiFi and an ambient atmosphere. They do also have board games BUT they cost like $5 per person to play so that was kind of a bummer. The salmon bagel and london fog were delicious and the strawberry fruit square was a great pair with the latte. Food was reasonably priced for a cafe like this and it has plenty of seating. Would come again to get some schoolwork done :)

Lovely little café located in an older home - careful! If you blink, you'll miss it and have to turn around. On street and limited parking beside & behind the building. WiFi is free, but you'll have to ask for the password. No dog(s) in residence 😔 The staff are pleasant, willing to explain the difference between various teas, make recommendations regarding food, and they smile a lot! Prices aren't cheap (this isn't a Tim's!), but not expensive either. Good selection of food and desserts, and an impressive selection of tea (the peach rose is nice, but the rose is only a hint).

Order the quiche and coffee. The coffee was great and the quiche was okay. My friend order the smoked salmon bagel and he said it was great. The atmosphere was great. Looks to be in an older home with high ceilings. Very unique and would recommend!

PLEASE shovel your sidewalk. I walked around Brantford for 2 hours on January 21st and this was the WORST sidewalk. Not shovelled. No salt down. Very dangerous.

Love this place. Very calm to get work done. Staff is nice and coffee is good. I think the fee to play their games is fair as they have to maintain these games as well. There’s quite a bit of parking some people park too close to the next parking. There’s also street parking. I haven’t tried their food but I’ll have to soon. I enjoy the light music in the background. Would be 5 stars if staff tried to engage in conversation more and better parking (such as including parking spot lines).

when i walked in i almost walked right back out because it smelled worse than a garbage dump inside. i have no clue what could have been causing the smell but it was so bad i had to hold my breath. thank goodness for masks. the scone i had was very small and not baked well at all. coffee was so so. staff was nice, just wish the quality of the food/drink was better. i sat outside and the patio was clean with lots of spots to sit.

Absolutely lovely cafe, the baristas are so lovely and go out of their way to make your experience nice. They make the best mochas. Im so sad that they are closing soon, I truly hope the new owners re hire the staff and keep the cafe.

The coffee was excellent. We had to sit in the patio because one of us was not carrying their proof of Vax. Patio was very sunny with little shade, and fronts on Brant Ave. Traffic noise makes conversations difficult.

Stopped for the first time since I moved to Paris from Toronto. So Happy I found this place, best coffee in the area. I am a latte lover and was desperate to not be able to find a nice coffee shop with great coffee until YESTERDAY. Cozy ambiance inside, lovely decor and nice little patio in the front. Love this place and will be back for sure.

Sadly today I wasn't happy with bluedog. I've been once or twice never had the food. Drinks were great. So today decided to try the food. I ordered a smoothie and western omelet breakfast burrito. They informed me they no longer make smoothies and just hadn't taken it off the menu wall, and when I asked if there was meat in the omelette I was told no there wasn't. When I got my burrito it was maybe the size of a child's hand, falling apart, the wrap was ripped. I also believe it was made from a frozen box one just toast. FULL of ham chunks with what I believe is cheese wiz or processed cheese in the middle. I got it to-go so discovered all this when I got back to work and went to eat it. I was disappointed, I couldn't eat it because of the ham. I wouldn't have minded if it was frozen but always make it fresh then freeze it your self. You would then know what's in it and be able to use real ingredients :(

My favourite thing about Blue Dog - how hot your coffee is. The best!

Great place to start my day. Love the atmosphere, service and food is good. I limit myself to pastry and latte so I can't comment on the menu.

We were there for a few hours and the staff was helpful and courteous whenever any of us would order something new

I have visited three times...Given it a chance, but will no longer. Love the coffee but each time I am left with an uneasy feeling...As if I have done something wrong. If a staff member doesn't smile upon greeting me or serving me food, I think I have offended in some way.

Excellent coffee ! I ride from Toronto to both locations because the coffee is that good. Great food and service ! Great atmosphere in the cafe. The cafe is very clean, including the washrooms.
