Review Sunset Grill - Brantford

Friendly service and great food plus you get your money's worth. Trucker's would love it here cause I'm here with my other half and he's a trucker. He got the western omelette and I got the breakfast poutine with the Hollandaise sauce on the side. It all tastes great and the freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious.

I brought my kids and my friends kids out for breakfast for the first time since 2019. We got really lucky with our server her name is Megan and all four of the kids loved her. She was very fast, efficient and friendly. The food was very good and good portions even for the kids meals. We will be returning in the near future. We highly recommend this place.

One of my favorite places to grab breakfast or even hold a morning meeting. The staff are so friendly, kitchen is clean and food is awesome. My daughter says they have the best bacon, and I know they always have gluten-free options for me. The waitresses are always super sweet when my sister and her bf (both are disabled) come in to dine. They make them feel like this is thier very own special place, even remembering her birthday! Amazing team! I can't say enough good things about this place!! Thanks for being amazing

It was an absolutely fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, my four year old was tickled pink with his delicious chocolate chip pancakes, and my girlfriend loved her meal. I always look forward to the kind service we get from the servers and the manager of the restaurant, and was greeted with big smiles. Will for sure be back!

Food at this location is always very well made and delicious, portions are exactly right. The servers were very attentive. Only qualms I had were about how busy it was on a Wednesday morning, and that there was old syrup basically glued on our table in one spot, which made me suspect the tables had been wiped but not properly cleaned in a while.

I placed my order on the phone and was told it would be ready in about 5 minutes for pickup. I got there roughly 5 minutes later and was asked to wait. 10 minutes later they finally bring me my breakfast. Ordered my eggs over easy, they were very well done. The bacon was overcooked, not quite burnt but very crispy, which I did not ask for.

Excellant staff, always smiling and ready to serve or assist. I brought my husband in for breakfast. His first time there. He has had a stroke and doesn't communicate or realize alot of things. The young lady that seated us was fantastic. Kind understanding and very attentive to his special needs at the table. I know the owner and he should be proud of his staff as I'm sure he is. Sherry J

Great food and service! If you can, go during the week. Went this Sunday and the food was good but a longer wait then before. They were alot busier and the girls were running around but there seemed to always be people waiting for take out. Must have seen at least a dozen people come in and leave with food before we received ours.

I always love coming into this sunset grill, it’s just like breakfast at home! the staff are all super friendly and attentive! food and service always amazing, if you haven’t been in i strongly recommend it!! you won’t be disappointed

Not impressed at all. When I went to sit down, the chair had dried up food stuck on it, so they had to clean my chair before I could sit down. We went during the March break and the service left alot to be desired. The male, who I can only assume is the manager/owner needs to back off and stop trying to be in everyone's face. He brought my spouse a tea, forgot my beverage. Then we were brought another tea, I shold say hot water, no tea bag! All we had to listen to was him talking very loudly to his staff, almost on the border of yelling..back off bud, we as paying customers want to come in and relax, not have to watch you run around like a mad man, and listen to your mouth. He never did bring my bill, so we had to go up to the till to let him know we were done, this was after sitting a few minute with our coats on! Food is average, no better than any other place in town. We have enough choices in town, with better breakfast and much better service that we can go to, so we will not be back.

great place to eat . i go a couple times a week and the staff are always super friendly and they have great food . highly recommend

How can this be called a grill when thay don't even have one thay have grilled chicken breast on the menu and I got pan fryed chicken that tasted like rubber this place sucks

Fast paced grill / restaurant . Food was delicious and great staff . But food presentation lacked luster . As a chef I expected more . Eyes do the eating before it goes into your mouth . I ordered the salmon eggs sunset . It looked like a blob of Hollandaise sauce with burnt home fries . I noticed my daughter's Eggs Sunset was the same . Food presentation needs tweaking . Otherwise keep up the great work � Thank you .

Went once with my girls, wasn't impressed mainly do the fact I felt it was overpriced. I'll point out it was a Saturday. Noticed the $4.99 special on the window and thought OK we got something here. Went back a week later for the "special" yah I don't friggin think so guys. If it's going to be a meat-less breakfast special, how about you grow a pair and advertise it as such. Nothing about you restaurant makes it worth the $20+ it costs to eat two regular breakfasts , that was with water btw.

Worst place I have ever been. If you want rude service and pricey food this is the place for you Oh an if you want to deviate from the menu be prepared to be raked over the coals by the waitress. My daughter and husband were in shock over how the waitress spoke to me. I will stick with the Sherwood ...they have great food and they treat people with much more respect.

I have to say Mj has been my waitress numerous times and my kids loved her. We had breakfast there a few days ago and she again was our waitress and very kind. I love sunset grill. Best breakfast in town :) MJ and the rest of the staff there are very friendly and the food is always delicious.

Used to go to Doug’s until I was severely ripped off for Hollandaise sauce. Tried out Sunset Grill and love everything about it. Good prices great food and amazing service every single time. Highly recommend.

The Sunset Grill has the best food, prices and service in Brantford. If I win a free breakfast I would give it to my Dad for Father's Day. It would make a great gift for my Dad because I'm on a fixed income. Best place to eat breakfast in Brantford.

We have always had a wonderful breakfast...service is quick and friendly, portions are generous and the food is delish..we would definitely recommend Sunset Grill for breakfast or lunch.
