Review Sociable Kitchen & Tavern - Brantford

I have dined here for the past few years at different times. I would really recommend getting reservations because this place could get packed real quick. The food is excellent I like the fact when the first time I was there that they made their own condiments even. It shows me that the chef there takes great care and pride in the meals that they are providing. The staff are friendly and courteous there. They are following covid-19 guidelines and the restaurant is very clean.

I was here for a friend's birthday and I am super impressed with the food and service. One of our servers seemed a bit off but I think she may have been new ao serving a party of 9 might have been a bit overwhelming. The food was fantastic. The drinks were a bit on the pricier versus comparable restaurants but it's not a big deal. I would very much recommend Sociable.

Food was great imo, but my wife found her meal way too spicy, so we swapped meals. Please keep in mind we had planned to share them with each other, but lost 1 star since there was no mention that her meal would be as spicy as it was. I loved the heat, and the meal over all though

Good quality salmon salad and brisket plate, they tasted really good but a little high price. Each dish cost around $26 before tax. My boyfriend hates the hamburger because the patty was overcooked and dry. He expected it to be more juicy. Fries were tasteless unfortunately. Our total for 2 was $112

I was in the area for business and went to "Sociable Kitchen and Tavern" with my colleague. Although we were here for an early lunch in the middle of the week, it was packed with people and after having my lunch, I found out why it was so popular: the quality of the food was amazing. I ordered a Brisket Platter, but it wasn't ready just yet. So I changed my order to "Brisket Burger" and my colleague ordered "Blue Burger". Both burgers were made out of fresh ingredients and tasted great. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time here.

Really good looking bar and restaurant. Friendly staff, lots of seating - both indoor and outdoor, Brunch was awesome. Lots of choices for food and also vegetarian choices, kids menu looked good. Definitely a Sociable place for couples, singles, parties and friends.

Enjoyed lunch here today. Food was delish, atmosphere was fun, and our server, Cam, was exceptional.

Absolutely amazing experience! I have a severe fish allergy and always call ahead just to check. The manager made me feel safe and comfortable. She and our server were well informed and helpful with any concerns. To top it all off the food and drinks were delicious 10/10 recommend! Will be back soon! Thank you!

If I could rate this a 1.5 I would. My mom and I visited the sociable and to be honest, we were both very disappointed. The server was nice and the bar manager was very nice as well but the food sucked. My mom ordered the chicken wings and they were very small and the wings were not battered even though the menu says they are. We also ordered the lettuce wraps to go and when we got home we found a blob of the filling (which is very little to start with) and half a head of lettuce thrown on top. There was waaay too much sauce and it made the lettuce soggy. The filling tasted okay but you get a very small amount and its really only enough for 2 lettuce wraps. This was our first and more than likely our last time at the sociable. Both meals cost $13 each and were not worth the money or time.

went tonight for date night. food was good amd son were the drinks but I guess there was some confusion with us ordering our app at the bar while we were waiting because once we got sat at a table we waited 20 minutes for a server, even after letting another server know we didn't have one. once we got our server she was very rude and unfriendly and must have said something to the manager because I tried multiple times to get his attention and he avoided eye contact and our table at all costs. we won't be back despite the food being delicious. the bartender, hosts, and food runners were good though. I would have rather tipped the food runner he was mich more personable and efficient than the server.

If I could give this place a 6 star review, I would! I held my annual Fantasy Football League Draft here and have nothing but praise for the way the staff at The Sociable took care of my 30+ guests! We have held our draft at several locations over the past 24 years and this was by far the best! The food was great, the staff was unbelievable, and everything went perfectly! The Sociable will now be our permanent draft site! See you next year!

Quickly becoming a favourite place. The food is absolutely amazing. Super friendly staff. And a beer selection that can't really be beat. Came here for my wife's birthday a few nights ago with a few friends and family and everything was perfect. Right down to a surprise brownie with a birthday candle in it. Wasn't my first time here and will certainly not be my last. That taco trio was the best thing I've had in weeks. Paired with a couple of Honkers ales, I was a happy dude. :D Keep up the great work. Our waitress, Nav, was awesome btw.

If there was 10 stars I would give it!!! The atmosphere and the live jazz band was amazing. The waitress and runners became family. We received everything before we asked and whatever we asked for we got immediately. Alora made us feel like royalty. You could tell the food was prepared by a chef who loves what he does. My steak was made to perfection and the homemade sauces were explosions to our taste buds. The desserts were in a few words.....OH MY ... wow!!! This was an unplanned stop and I can't say enough about this establishment. If we didn't live 5 hours away, we would bring all our friends. Do yourself a favor and go try it out. You will not be sorry....

Great place. Cool vibe. Loved the music. Food was fresh and authentic. Big fan of the Charcoal Group. This, like all of their other venues, does not disappoint. Best place in Brantford for food and atmosphere.

We went for dinner last night for the first time and it was one of the best dinners we have had in a restaurant in quite some time. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is fantastic. Definitely will recommend to everyone I know to go there.

Nice place to relax with good selection of beers and a food menu with a wide variety of options. I loved the hot buffalo wings!

The homemade burgers here are fantastic! They also have a great selection of craft beers, not to mention a few local ones that are worth a try. Little secret, they have a bottled Root Beer called Babbling Brooks from Burlington, made by Nickle Brook, an absolute must try!

Both the food and service are excellent here. Highly recommend the burgers 🍔 , flatbreads and fish tacos 🌮

A fantastic meal! The beer and cheddar soup was really delicious. We pre-ordered and everything was quick and good too. Super service from all staff involved-thanks!

Great food. Staff was very, very busy, so we had to wait a while to place out orders. Kudos to the bartenders, Dave and Megan. Burgers were delicious!

From the food, to the drink and most definitely the service ( we sit at the bar and Dave is fanfreakingtastic!) we love this place.

Met friends today here for first time. What an awesome space! I believe our server was Jarod...appreciated how he didn't rush us for our meal order..we don't get to see our friends often, and he took his time coming back, as we got caught up. Had the brisket....amazing....perfect!! Will be back for sure!

First visit was today for lunch. Service was great and everything we ordered was awesome (especially the brisket poutine..soooo good!!!) there was a small mix up with a requested modification on 1 burger but it was corrected very quickly by the super friendly manager on duty and even was taken off our bill, which was a pleasant surprise! We'll be back for sure!!

Super friendly wait staff and the food was phenomenal! Burgers and buns are made from scratch! They even make their own condiments!! Will definitely be back!

We were there on the weekend for a family dinner, with a group from under 10 yrs to seniors. The staff was great helping the younger ones out. The beer selection was excellent. The portions were healthy. We will definitely be back for more family dinners!

I just had the best wonton nachos I have ever had!!! Might have just ruined regular nachos for the rest of my life! Great atmosphere, amazing singer, such a great restaurant experience!!!
