Lone Star is one of my favourite go to places when I’m really hungry. Every time I come here I want to literally try everything but I always end up going with dos fajitas – chicken or sometimes chicken & steak. You can pick some sides for extra and I absolutely LOVE the skillet mushrooms. I’m not even a fan of mushrooms but these are the best mushrooms I’ve ever had. I even try to recreate them at home by sautéing button mushrooms in garlic for a long period of time that’s how much I love them. You get fresh tortilla chips with salsa (unlimited) I usually finish the whole bowl before I get my meal it’s so good & fresh. I find the service really polite and quick too. I usually go to the Oakville location but this location is great because I don’t find it as busy as Oakville during peak hours.

Great fajitas and steak. If the name hasn't tipped you off it's a "southern- Tex-mex" theme with country music playing and servers in cowboy boots.
It can get loud, we didn't mind.
The young server we had was very attentive and we didn't even have to ask for pop or chips and salsa refills. She was the best server I've had at Lone star in a long time (but service is usually great anyway)
They changed their salsa recipe? I liked it better before, it's not terrible, just not as good. Mesquite gives the grilled meats a nice smokey flavor.

Can't Complain (well maybe just a little). I've been to the Brampton location a few times now and have yet to find a meal I wasn't satisfied with. The ribs were probably my favourite. Chicken fried steak (aka country fried steak) was tasty although the white gravy doesn't resemble the authentic southern artery-constricting goop served in the US (maybe that's a good thing). Our server is a regular for the people that I went with and the service provided is exemplary, but all the other servers seemed to be doing a good job as well. They seem to provide reasonable value for most of their dishes, but the growing couponing trend may signal that they are under excessive competitive pressure. Hopefully that won't affect the quality of the meals.
One complaint though is that they seemed to have gone off the rails on their selection of liquors. They've dropped some categories altogether and dropped numerous top-shelf labels. It's Canada for Pete's sake - have some CC whiskey on hand. It's a Texas themed restaurant - have a few good tequilas.
Overall though, a good choice for the area.
Great Food! We were more than pleased with the service and food. The waitress served our table of 5 quickly. We ordered the Nachos as our app and it was YUMMY! We did the group fajita meal and it was also delicious.
It was a but pricey but definitely worth of money!

Death by Peppercorn. No arguments with the other postings here. The place is very clean and bright, and the staff TRY - that is so important. Been there 3 times and each experience was great. The items are not overpriced - the last time out 4 adults had dinner (which included 2 steak entrees) and drinks and the bill was around $160.
PS: if you are in the mood for a great burger, do try the peppercorn variant here. It's giant (1/2 lb) but is it ever scrumptious and served with just the right amount of fries.
Consistently Amazing!!. I have visited this LS location many times, with girlfriends, with my boyfriend, with my son the FOOD, the SERVICE, the ENVIRONMENT, the CLEANLINESS is fantastic!!
The servers are prompt, friendly and happy even in busy periods! I wish I could take Salsa, Ryder, Boots with me to every restaurant to serve me, perhaps they could give lessons to the staff at the Airport location!

Great Place. My wife and I have been here a handful of times. The food is always been good and the staff are really great and super friendly. I think on my birthday I'm going to try the 72oz steak challenge. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out.
Mexican in Toronto is a pretty sad state of affairs. I was here with my softball team and decided to try the "Big Rig" Tijuana burrito with a 12-ince flour tortilla filled with Mexi-beef, Mexican rice refried beans and Con Queso. Toppped with their own Ranchero sauce and Jack & Cheddar cheese, served with guacamole, sour cream and Pico de Gallo ($14.99). It looks neat with the meat and cheese on the outside, but it had too much rice inside for my liking and the ground beef quality was poor as well. I guess when it's called Mexi-beef you can't expect too much.
Kitty had the much better buffalo fajita, but I have pictures of that already so it's not pictured here again. That's one of the best items here. Still overall I would say the food is pretty weak.
Came here on Valentine’s Day weekend. Reservations were easy. Food was great. Manager was amazing. She noticed we had been waiting long for our meals (we didn’t feel it was that long) and ensured our experience was amazing. First restaurant experience after 2 years and it was fabulous - the food and device. We got chimichangas, quesadillas, fish tacos, sizzling chicken fajitas etc. and it was all great!
At first when I heard about this place, I was not sure whether I should try it out but this place blew me away. It's beautiful and clean. My server was extremely nice and took care of me during my dine in visit. I ordered the Lone Star Chicken Wrap which blew my taste buds as well as my mind. I couldn’t have enjoyed it without the service of my server who was serving me at Trigger Section. She ensured that my needs as a customer were met as well as any food restrictions were taken account for. I really enjoyed my food and my experience. Everyone who is looking for a pleasant experience but still a restaurant that goes above and beyond in their theme and food should really give this place a shot.

We have been coming to LoneStar Brampton location since August last year and we received consistently great service and food every time. This Sunday was not an exception either. Shout out to the Sunday crew from the Manager to the server and the chef. Better food and service than we have ever recieved at similar franchised restaurants like Boston Pizza, Jackastors, Montanas and yes their prices are still better.
My family was looking for somewhere eith halal options and a nice patio, we found the perfect place at Lone Star.All chicken is halal and a lovely patio. We Had a great dinner experience thanks to the staff and manager, above and beyond service. Felt like a VIP. My wife and I shared nachos and chicken fajitas, my son had chicken strips and fries from the kids menu. All very good even the kid's chicken strips was very good quality. Thank you to the staff and manager!
