My family is from the east coast Nova Scotia, where fresh fish is plentiful but this place is hands down the best fish and chips I ever had!! We got it on a whim but I am MORE than impressed! Down to the French fries it was the best meal I had in a long time.

Do not order from here! Firstly, they had a buy 1, get 1 free, advertised on Uber Eats, yesterday. They did not honor that advertisement! Secondly, the halibut and scallops were very greasy and gross. The worst fish and chips that I have ever tasted. Over priced for gross food. Highly recommend that you stay away from this place!

It’s all batter and barely any fish inside it. When you spend on a meal and are still hungry you know something is wrong with it. Nothing with the staff friendly and courteous but not going there again due to the quantity of the food.
Response to the owner: doesn’t matters if the batter is think or thin the fact remains there’s barely any fish underneath. You expect customers to fill their stomach with 10 pounds of fries that comes with it. Your Halibut fish with fries costs $21 & some cents I understand prices have gone up with several factors but you have an issue when you’ll have to start telling your customers better place an order twice as just one order won’t give you enough fish. Just horrible

Excellent food, Fantastic Customer Service, and we have been going there for over 2 years!
The food is good portion sized, tastes amazing - the fish is nice and moist and not dried up.
We have placed orders with them and they have always been ready with no problems at all.
Definately a must and we love the food!

Had multiple good experiences here. Today I did an door dash pick up and had a last minute order switch. Love the Fish and Chips !!! Specifically the Basa fish with onion rings. I wish they can provide more tartar sauce but overall amazing food and loved how the business has adjusted itself for Covid. Very safe environment, hand sanitizers, separate exit in and out

The staff was 'over the moon' helpful and fun to talk to. We had some work business to do over dinner and they made our dinner fast, delicious and enjoyable. Afterwards we enjoyed coconut pie and coffee for dessert. The place is very very clean and covid protocols are followed strictly. One of my fave places to visit

Best chips in town. We have lived here for about 20 years and have never found a place that's chips come close to England. Henry's is by far the closest and we had given up after trying a lot. We will be back for sure!

okay so Henry's on Vodden has fantastic food but only If you eat there.
Their take out is hit and miss!!!
they never comply to any requests and Always give you their old fries.
so disappointed...after many visits half of them being old soggy food im not going there for take out anymore.
they are so busy they don't care if you complain.😕

Henry's is always our go to fish & chips place. My favorite are the clam strips (not alot of F&C places offer them)! I just wish that when we buy coleslaw, ask if coleslaw is in the bag before we leave, that we arrive home with coleslaw. But no. No coleslaw to eat with the well-breaded cod and salty fries. It really puts a damper on a family meal.

Pricey and bad meal. Was at the new Henry's on Mclaughlin road in Brampton on Good Friday April 18th. The place was nearly empty. They only served halibut. It was covered with small cut french fries. The price was $14.95.The service was good. The fish was small portion heavily coated in batter. It is not nearly as good as henrys on Vodden road Brampton.

If you like to pay $80 for dry, borderline leathery halibut and mediocre chips, this place is for you! If on the other hand you like to get your money's worth and choose to voice your dissatisfaction, the simpletons running this establishment (Main St, Brampton) will concoct a story to tell you how you're wrong... If you are amongst the latter group of people, save your time, money and patience and go somewhere else.

Bad customer service. HORRIBLE! My fish was so dry I couldn't eat it. When I phoned to register a complaint, they "claimed" I had requested it "extra crispy". When I told them I hadn't made any requests, I was basically called a liar and argued with. Not much was offered as a way of compensation. If this is how they treat clients... they will not last much longer.

Excellent. This is the best fish n chips in Brampton bar none. It is far above anything else in Brampton and it's one of the best in the GTA period. I've eaten fish n chips in a lot of places. I always get the Cod or haddock and chips and mushy peas anywhere I go. Some places have terrible mushy peas as well but these ones are good. This is proper fish n chips not greasy. We always eat in so we can enjoy it fresh, crispy and hot. Lots of seating, friendly staff. Never had a problem
