Had the mussels, seafood bisque, escargot and creme brûlée. Soup was very salty, as were the mussels. They were both still tasty, but I would hope that isn't the norm. I like salt...so it's bad when I comment! Escargot weren't what I was expecting (my fault, I wanted them with cheese in mushroom caps-clearly that is my bad as I didn't read the menu)! Service was just ok, but they got uber busy without expecting it so I don't blame my server who did what he could! I drove 25 min out of my way to visit- Not sure it's worth a higher than 4 rating...
The girlfriend and I go here all the time. Everyone is super friendly and willing to accommodate your experience.

Great authentic Italian food and great service. In town from Winnipeg, Eat local and support these independent resturants. Sick of the overpriced glammed up chains.

It was refreshing to return here after a long absence and experience their well-polished service and culinary expertise again. A few changes have taken place over the past few years, all improvements, and the food seems to have become more refined as the years passed.
Some menu items stand out as our particular personal favourites. The Mussels Marinara cooked in their distinctive spicy marinara sauce shouldn't be missed. The Caesar Salad pays tribute to the original Caesar with just enough garlic and anchovy to earn the title. Their ever-changing Pasta Trio Special that is always available, though not on the menu, is an excellent introduction to their repertoire for Capannina newcomers. The linguine with fresh clams is our personal standard for this item. Fresh seafood is a particular strength here too and often my choice.
Before going to the Rose Theatre. A nice little place, tucked away off George St N. If there is a show that night at the Rose Theatre, you should make a reservation if you want a seat at this popular location. It's good Italian food. We didn't have a lot of time before our show so we went simple and tried the gnocchi in a cream sauce as well as and the tiger shrimp with a side of spaghetti. Both were delicious with nice size portions. The meal came with bread. We hadn't made a reservation but were lucky that they made a spot for us in the back, which appeared to be a small event room. They were attentive and quick to bring us our bill when we asked. I appreciated that the waiter explained the manicotti would take extra time to prepare before letting me order it, since he knew we were limited on time. I liked this restaurant and will go again when I have more time to try one the appetizers which sounded really good.

Great!. Had the pleasure of dining here a few nights ago. The service was stellar - not to intrusive but very attentive.
Cozy dining area.
Seafood Bisque - tasty, hot and perfectly spiced with plenty of shrimp. They even split one portion for me and my friend to share.
Mushroom Starter - don't remember the exact name but it was mushrooms with butter and garlic topped with shrimp and scallops - served straight from the oven piping hot! Delicioius!! Sopped up all the dressing with their home made bread :)
I had the Seafood Fettucine - basically just shrimp in a creamy rose sauce. Excellent portion size, flavourful and pasta perfectly al-dente.
Chicken Parm & Penne pasta with rose sauce - huge portions of both chicken and pasta. The pasta was delicious but I felt the parm was average.
Finished with the Creme Brule - sugary lip and vanilla creme, not the smoothest texture but great flavour.
Overall the meal was delicious and worth the expense - check this out for a cozy, romantic & not to mention delicious, meal :D
Excellent. Understated service, no muzak, excellent food - including a superb halibut chowder - made this a terrific choice for a Friday evening out. I've eaten in many Italian restaurants over the last 30 years, and this one is up there with the best.

Amamzing Italian food, very experienced wait staff. One of my favorite restaurants in the city, my familys been going for years. Food is always excellent and the waiters are extremely experienced and will deliver the full fine dining experience. Good prices too.

My go-to dish is always the gnocchi gorgonzola ($19). The texture of the gnocchi is perfect, soft & pillowy. The cream sauce is super delicious with just the perfect amount of gorgonzola. I have been here multiple times and the service has always been great. Would definitely recommend this place!

This is one of my favourite restaurants, hands down. My husband and I try to go once a year during very special occasions (such as our anniversary). It's a little pricey to go regularly and that's okay. It makes it more special for us. My mom and I stumbled upon this place when I was really young and we had both had a long exhausting day at work. It was a slow night for the restaurant and they were going to close early but left the place open for us. They brought us the best food, and the owner even sat down and talked to us! This was going back probably 15 years ago. I've had a soft spot for this place since. Even though all the food is great, no one makes Fettucinne Alfredo like this place. :)
My favourite Italian restaurant in Brampton hands down. The food is awesome and I love their pastas. The service is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The vibe is very cozy and relaxing. I've been here probably around 10 times over the years and I come back again and again!

Get the gnocchi - it's amazing. Great service. Very authentic Italian food. Customized a vegan meal for my friend. Just walking by and smelling it makes me drool

I came here twice now, and I can't wait to go again! Service was amazing, but the food, oh man, the food! SO GOOD! I had shrimp fettuccine alfredo and the house zinfandel, topped it off with creme brulee for desert. Mouth is watering just thinking about it!
This is my favourite restaurant, bar none! The food is excellent, Love Massimo and his family and staff .... Love the ambiance and the welcome we always get. Just a great place with outstanding food prepared with love. We're there at least once per week and entertain there frequently, never disappointed.
