I loved everything about Canelli’s. The staff was really nice. Though we had to wait, we were really impressed with how they dealt with us. The waitress was extremely polite and nice. Lovely food, nice staff, would surely recommend this place to everyone.

Food was excellent in both quantity and quality!!Brought the family there to celebrate a double birthday, and the waitress went out of her way to make sure we were ok throughout the night plus brought over a bonus dessert 🍨 for the birthday girls . Will definitely return👍

We were in Brampton at dinner time, drinking along Queen Street, scoping out places to eat, and we spotted Canelli’s Italian Eatery. It looks interesting enough from the outside, so we decided to give it a try. It’s a medium sized restaurant, with seating for about a hundred people, and it was less than half full when we arrived around 6 pm. The layout is fairly open, with a combination of booths around the outer perimeter, and tables in the middle. The tables had folding flaps that convert from a square 4-top to a round table that would seat 6 or 7.
After we placed our order, we were brought a basket of fresh, soft, sliced Italian loaf, and a plate with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and garlic flakes.
We started out sharing a small Canelli ‘s Caesar Salad. Flavour was good, but we did not like the rock-hard single, large crouton. The two whole cloves of roasted garlic were a nice touch.
SWBMO chose here favourite Italian restaurant dish, the Chicken Parmigiana. Good-sized portion, lots of cheese, and a side of Spaghetti Pomodoro. The spaghetti sauce was a bit spicier that most, with the addition of chili pepper seasoning.
I also went with a favourite Italian dish: Eggplant Parmigiana, with the same Spaghetti Pomodoro side. The eggplant was properly cooked all the way through, just the way I like it. Each bite was cheesy, salty, savoury and earthy, with just a light texture from the breading on the eggplant. I really liked this dish.
We saw someone else order a Tiramisu that looked pretty good, so we decided to indulge. Apparently it is house made, and it was good. The ladyfingers and the mascarpone were light and flavourful.
Service was very good. While we had one main server, they used a team approach to deliver the food, offer fresh pepper and grated Parmesan, and clear dishes as they were finished. Our server checked in several times to make sure everything was okay.
Great pizzas, my manicotti was massive and delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the food is prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
From the food to the staff to addressing our nut allergy they do it all well. We are weekly regulars and would recommend other to experience Canelli's.
Canelli's doesn't try to be as upscale as some of the downtown Brampton Italian restaurants. Their prices are a little lower and the food is still very good. Our usual was the seafood pasta.

I have to say out of all the Italian restaurant's I've been to this one has to be the most memorable & i'm very impressed with their dedication to high standards. I loved it, would highly recommend & keen on returning!

Great time. We purchased a Wagjag for this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. Excellent food, great service. The daily specials are excellent. It is on the upper price side, but I felt it worth it once we received our entrees. if I had one issue, it was that the Capuccino was aweful. tasted like regular coffee with foam. otherwise I would heartily recommend this restaurant and will be going back with friends..
A great local establishment! The food quality is always great! It is not the cheapest but it is worth every penny! The calimari is one of the highlights for me!
Have been going here for years. Food is good, staff is extremely friendly. Take out tastes as good as eating in. I would highly recommend Canelli's for some delicious Italian food.

Been here many times over the years but having relocated to Quebec not at all in the last four to five years...if anything it's improved from before...food portions are excellent and the quality is on point...also as ever, the serving staff if sincere and attentive which is something I always appreciated in the past. Barking Squirrel on tap is a plus as well!
First time here, Every dish was amazing.
Definitely my new spot to get my fix when I am craving authentic Italian food.

It was my first time ever trying Chicken Marsala. It's the first time I've seen it as a choice at an Italian restaurant. Among many other Italian restaurants I've been to, this has been the first with many authentic choices to choose from. It has a very family restaurant feel which I find nostalgic, and overall a positive experience. I like that they have specials of the day for either a chicken (pollo) fish (pesca) or soup (zuppa). Overall the restaurant was clean. The restrooms were a little dated, and that's probably where one star was lost. The service was great. Server was very warm and welcoming. We can tell the kitchen does a great job as well because the food came quickly and very hot! We will be coming again!

The food here at Canelli's is the only reason I rated them at 4 stars. After doing Take-out from this location numerous times, I decided to try dining in. The service was sub par and dodgy at best, the interactions with the waitress felt uncomfortable and awkward. I probably wouldnt dine-in ever again, but I have to admit their pasta is excellent and great portions for the price you pay.
The ambience is pretty good and the pasta is pretty good, but all in all I wasn't blown away. I would recommend their red sauces over their whites.
it's a beautiful restaurant very clean and the food is amazing I couldn't find something to complain about and the best part of it the owner himself monitoring everything the portions are amazingly big and the prices are reasonable thumb up for this place
Had an Italian craving so I ordered takeout from lunch menu- Chicken Alfredo. I asked to add mushrooms for an additional cost. The food is great tasting, fresh, good portions and fast service. The waiters were very nice and added free complimentary french bread and butter. The only downside was that there was hardly any chicken...I will definitely return. Great value!
