Review John's Family Restaurant - Brampton

Our first time here. This place is amazing! I would give 10 stars if I could. The food is very delicious & impeccable. The staff was so attentive and detail oriented, making it a truly one of a kind experience. My wife & kids loved it and enjoyed the food. Their quality of food is top notch and quantity of food is enormous. I felt very satisfied with the experience at John’s. We will be back to John’s.

A bit smaller than expected but it’s alright. Went on the day of the storm and was lucky to be seated inside just before it started. We didn’t really have a waited but our order was taken. Tea and coffee was cold as well as some of the food. The server that did tent to our table was distracted. Overall was decent !

My first time here and we were not disappointed. The service was very pleasant, the kitchen was super quick in getting us our meals and everything tasted delicious. The restaurant was packed when we got there and yet the service was amazing, the portion sizes are huge. Will definitely go back

It's always good to come here. The food is delicious, the place is clean and spacious and the staff is friendly. They also have a nice patio outside. Today, our food took a little longer than we expected but it's understandable since we've ordered chicken souvlaki and it takes time to cook. It was worthy the wait. Absolutely delicious. 💯

Good, simple diner food, with generous portion sizes and quality burgers, French toast and pancakes. Quality comfort food if you’re in the area and want good food with no surprises.

Do not go when its busy or a holiday.....!!!! The order was wrong for Easter Weekend and no its not my fault..Food cold...I was asked to leave after waiting  45 minutes for my breakfast and given an ultimatum...NO there are other choices..Yes I was very patient and polite...How can you screw up a simple breakfast??

Staff is really helpful and friendly. Food is delicious too. And don’t let me start on portions. They practically serve huge portions. If you are hungry and looking for good food, this is definitely the place to go :)

This has quickly become our once a week breakfast place. There are 3 of us.<br/>Food is great that's why we have kept coming back for two months... but portions have gotten smaller as in if we order the bacon grilled cheese with fries it's perfect lots of fries but if we decide we would like homefries the portion is about a handful laid out on plate to give the illusion of alot of home fries on plate... We spend about average 50 dollars every week. It does get busy and sometimes we have to wait which is fine but when it's just one person dining in a 4 person booth, while so many ppl waiting is just crazy. There should be certain times where booths are for 2 or more ppl and the lonesome person must take a 2 person table. Why do 4 ppl need to wait while one person is sitting at a booth? it's inconsiderate of that person and staff needs to implement a 2 or more per booth at its rush most busiest times. Staff is great as there are always asking if everything is alright, refill on coffees etc... Unfortunately when ordering a soda it comes in a can with no refills. They need soda fountain refills. I do wish the cream at table was placed cold and fresh each time new customers are seated as we at home don't leave cream out sitting to warm up and curd. John's resturant should not also.

Heard great things about johns from multiple friends. I had the chicken parm and subbed out the usual spaghetti for fettuccini alfredo as it was an option on the menu. Pasta was delicious creamy cheesy garlic goodness. Lots of yummy cheese on my chicken too. Huge portions and friendly service. Will return. Friends rave about chicken souvlaki, portions huge lots of chicken.

I've been here quite a few times with my families that the owner's son who works there recognized me and my families. It's a simple breakfast place we like to go to on lazy Sunday.<br/><br/>My parents were there before me and waited 10 mins for me. They had already ordered and I ordered as soon as I got there. We got our food in no time. It has been an hour of our stay till my dad got the check and paid. Mind you, we've been there on an extremely busy occasions prior to this. I was still enjoying my parents company, while drinking my coffee till the owner's son went to our table and kicked us out. His reasoning was max. eat time is 2 hours. We were not advised, even from all the times we've been here till that day and it was not a usual busy morning as they always have. At the same time when we got kicked out, there was 4 tables leaving. Again, it was not their usual busy morning. We felt we were the only one being asked to leave. Like we overstayed our welcome. My parents and I were not a happy camper and has never gone back since.

Had a great time with the staff. John's famous pasta, truly famous. Fair pricing with plenty of food on your plate with enough for lunch the next day. Will be back soon

Went for brunch. It was delicious. Had the eggs Benedict and the Nutella waffle. Huge portion and easy on the price. Will defiantly return!

Fri or weekend reservation recommended. Great food and lots of it, plan on leaving one button undone. Staff is great and friendly, waiting staff a little novice but getting better with experience. Been twice for lunch and dinner. Will need to go for breaky. Staple dish chicken souvlaki dinner. Washrooms were very clean and modern, they should change the door handle to push open instead of a turn knob. Have to say this is a must go to in north Brampton. Dinner like style restaurant. Will go back again anytime, good thing to is my wife loves it also.
