Review Moxies - Brampton

We came for lunch today and we had a great experience! The front desk and the other waiters were very nice and engaged in conversation with us which made us feel very welcomed. Our server Abel was very friendly and accommodating. Whenever we weren’t sure about a dish he made sure to check with the kitchen which we appreciate. We ordered the mushroom sirloin and it was cooked perfectly! I’ll definitely visit again for the steak.

I loved the atmosphere of the patio, it wasn't that crowded and I actually enjoyed my friend company. Unfortunately, they didn't have much of a choice for plant-based dishes. They have a whole vegetarian/plant-based section, but most of the items contain eggs. Our waiter was so nice, he made sure that our order was completely plant-based, I really appreciate that and I loved his drink suggestion. He really entertained us with a good conversation. We received a very good discount as our dish was missing of something, even the manager came to talk to us and tried to make up for it. I hope to see this kind of attitude in other no plant-based restaurants, it was an honor not to feel judged by my diet choices. I would definitely go back and hopefully, they will get more real plant-based options!

Great experience on the patio! Drinks and food were good. The manager - Danny is the friendliest guy! He is very considerate and polite. He went out of his way to make it even better memorable experience. Will definitely come back again! Cheers!

Went to Moxies to celebrate my graduation! My family (group of 7) ordered everything in the vegan section with sweet potato fries, truffle fries (yum!) and tomato soup. Everything was super delicious. My parents loved the lettuce wraps.The nachos were super loaded. All of us were pretty stuffed at the end. Ended this splendid meal with White chocolate brownie which was really good with the chocolate fudge. Would like to thank our server Alexia for making my celebratory dinner the best!

Was there today at lunch in there patio. Service was great and fast by the bartender and food came out promptly and nice and hot. They accommodated my substitute from linguine Alfredo to rose. And was great meal . My partner got the lettuce wraps and they too came perfectly. Only thing is patio has no air was so hot and no air came in was too hot if maybe I could suggest some Fans. Patio is nicely covered Price was about 20 per person and restrooms where nice and clean.

I went for Happy Hour last week and the entire experience was phenomenal!! Our server Jessica was lovely!! Helpful and efficient!! Our drinks and food were perfect!! Danny, the manager is a delight and made my experience even better!! I highly recommend visiting this location, you won't regret it!!

Started off a bit rough with dinner with poor coffee and a hair in our appetizer, but they were very quick on fixing the issues and getting food back to our table. By the end the meals were fanatic and we enjoyed out night out with no kids. ❤️

The atmosphere and ambiance are top tier. Staff are A1 with service and efficiency. I love coming here and I’m so excited that it’s opened back up to the entire public. It’s always great vibes and the food is amazing.

Celebrated my Birthday at Moxies Bramalea this past Wednesday. Shout out to our server Jesse! He was the best � Good food, family, wine, desert and coffee � Would recommend to celebrate any event.

Today i visited your restaurant which i have been too many times. This time when I got my food there was a long piece of hair in my plate. I called over the manager who simple took my plate apologized and asked if i wanted another drink. A new plate came no hair this time. When we asked for the bill not only did they not take off money for the food but charged me for two drinks.No one offered to take anything off my bill i had to request for money to be taken off. This was a slap in the face for their sloppiness. Very disappointed

I love the food but most of all I love there service. The people here are really down to earth. I've been going here for the last 5 years for all our special occasions (tred other restaurant didn't work out). The kids menu is really good and the desert 👌👏. I will recommend this place over any other restaurant in Brampton

Good food. Waitress was inexperienced but was trying her best. We got food on time. Music was too loud. Everyone was screaming to get their word across. Will go there again

I've been to your restaurant a few times but on Friday , we had the best service ever! Our server Midori was simply fabulous!!!

Ok couple things about this restaurant I have been there numerous times with my wife and every time the food is always amazing but what happened to me last night blew me away about the staff here , I forgot my wallet and did not realize it until the next day and there was exactly 940$ in it so I called to see if they found it and they had and all the money was still in it , I even tried to give them 40$ as a thank you for returning my wallet and they would not take it . Moxies you have my business for life one happy customer right here you guys are amazing !!!!!!!!

My kids made a reservation for my birthday and when we showed up, they lost the reservation. They we were seated, then they said we need to move, so the waiter took our drinks, hostess says no they weren’t moving us, but drinks were MIA. Music was ridiculous loud. Food was ok, but not sure it was worth the money. Probably won’t go back.

Was my first time there. The food was a little disappointing. Our server was very nice. When I took my first bite and knew right that I wasn't going to eat what I ordered he offered to change it for me right away but still second time around was not what I expected. The had a very limited selection of drinks and so yes even my drink was ☹️

Went for my husbands birthday and when we placed our order the dinning side was close to empty yet our food took forever & they changed my favourite dish.

I had an 8 ounce steak which was very good. We went for my daughter's birthday so the waitress surprised her with a birthday dessert and then put it in the bill. She disappeared for a long time after when we wanted to order more drinks. A little pricey as I had no dessert or drinks but bill was over $200 for 3of us.

We were sitting next to a table of staff members ( I assume ) in the lounge. Our server was attending to the Staff’s table more so then ours! Completely ignoring me as I was yelling out for her attention as she walked by. It took 20 minutes to get asked for beverage re-fill’s. The staff was obnoxious and actually made us feel uncomfortable to be seated next to them. We will not be back to the Moxies in Bramalea.

I'm sitting here right now with 4 guys waiting for menus for 15mins and the server said "the girl who brings them might be on break" lol this is messed up and awesome at the same time.

Wanted to visit this place for quite some time, finally went for my birthday on a Friday night. Ambience was amazing both in patio and lounge. Servers were nice and courteous. Food was phenomenal especially classic chicken tenders and slow cooked baby back ribs (must have). Tried penne pasta, pretty normal nothing fancy. Went for in house beer Amber, liked it. Overall thumbs up. Great place for a wholesome meal along with couple of drinks. My favorite spot in Brampton so far. Cheers

I always enjoy dinners here - I've never had a bad experience! Amazing food and service service, short wait times, good music, great drinks, fair prices, and a wide variety of menu items.

We were at a different Moxie's recently that refused to give wait times, which I found a bit odd. This Moxie's was a different (better) story. We arrived around 6 pm and were told that the wait would be about 15 minutes, and they took our number to text us when the table would be read. I don't think it was even 5 minutes before they called our name, which pleased us. We got there at the right time. Apparently the wait time grew to over one hour by the time we finished our meal.<br/><br/>After we were seated, we had a look at the menu, and a few minutes later we were able to place our drinks and food order together. <br/><br/>SWMBO decided to stay with her Moxie's favourite: Chicken Enchiladas. Tender chicken wrapped in warm tortillas, smothered with melted cheese, accompanied by tangy salsa, cool sour cream, and smooth guacamole. A satisfying meal every time.<br/><br/>I went with the Red Thai Curry Bowl with Chicken. Stir-fried veggies in a tomato and coconut curry, with just enough heat for my taste buds. <br/><br/>Consistently good food and good service at Moxie's (except for that one location that would not provide wait times).

Dre: I was told that Moxie's was a good place for kids. Mike and the girls went one night. I went with them for a little bit, but I didn't eat with them as I had a dinner later that night with my girlfriends elsewhere. The food came out pretty quickly, which is a requirement for a kid-friendly restaurant. The cost for the kid's meal is quite high - $9.75 Was it good? Mike said it was pretty tasty and the kid's meal was pretty large.

I've been to this restaurant about a dozen times only because its location is convenient. The food is either mediocre or terrible, and is often really undercooked, really over cooked, or just really late. I don't remember a single time when the staff was not rude or incompetent. The waiters will make eye contact with you five times and still continue to ignore you so they don't have to come take your order again or check up on you. I've had much better luck at other Moxies locations.

The service is good here. The food is delicious as well. I've tried the white chocolate brownie, mushroom pizza, pecan cheesecake, fish tacos, chicken wings. All delicious! Also tried the red thai curry. The red thai curry from pickle barrel is better by far. My all time favs are the pizza and tacos. They used to make the pizza without chicken and I like it better that way so I request it without. I came for the Monday night wing special that you get with the purchase of a drink and that's a really good deal. Nice place for a date or girls night.

Ate here with a friend and the server was rude to the both of us. Food was pretty good. Went back on a later occasion and the manager is incredibly rude. They also don't want to host large groups of people.

My family and I went to dine at moxies at brampton. I've been to many places to dine out, at times food wasn't great, at times lacked in customer service.<br/>Today, I had enjoyed my food and of course Mr.Dans gave us such a wonderful customer service. I give him 10/10 for the excellency of being in good posture and great customer service skills. <br/>I believe other restaurant should have more employees like him whom are able to understand what joy he can bring in people with a smile and make customers feel they're day wasn't bad at all.

Dinner at Moxie's. Server very good and friendly. Smallest 8oz steak I have ever seen, more like a big meatball. Potatoe and vegies were cold. Very expensive for what you get not even a bun with dinner. Would not return and would not recommend Moxie's. We were very dissapointed

Review. Atmosphere is amazing! It's great for a group gathering or a romantic dinner. This locatiom has very pretty staff but their service ability is weak. The experience I had with my meal was horrible. My meal was horrible because it took long to make and it came out uncooked and my stomache couldn't take it. Therefore I didn't finish my meal and left as quickly as I could. Personally, I would never go back to this location.

Saturday eve Group of 4 Mi.... Saturday eve<br/>Group of 4<br/>Mistake with 2 orders, brought 1 persons order first (although they ordered from appetizer portion of menu it was their main. It wasn't complicated.<br/>Then the "8oz Top Sirloin Steak"<br/>Which looked more like the size of a slider burger... Was ordered med/rare, came blue and cold.<br/>Sent it back and mentioned "that's the smallest 8oz steak I've ever seen! The servers response: " it must be the end piece...<br/>Funny, I heard 2 tables over, the exact same complaint regarding a tiny piece of meat.<br/>Anyway,<br/>They threw it back on the grill...15 minutes later while everyone else is trying to eat very slow if not at all, waiting... "Someone" came over and mentioned that we returned the steak because it wasn't cooked as ordered?...I concurred and he said well, I didn't see it...(whatever that means)<br/>he offered a beverage or something... Now I'm assuming he was the manager, since he didn't say his name or who he was...maybe he's so popular everyone knows him? I dunno.<br/>I don't know about all you fine people out there, I work hard for my money and going out to eat is an occasional treat thing.<br/>Now I've been to Moxies several times over the years.<br/>This is the first negative experience. You know what they say...it only takes 1.<br/>The folks running the place Saturday night were not on the ball...it was around 5-6pm, not busy at all.<br/>I did not like the reason for the small steak.<br/>Although he offered a drink (I think)wine? She declined but it would have been nice to see some sort of compensation, the person who's "steak" they messed up should have had their "pop"comped. Why would she want wine?<br/><br/>Attention Managers of all establishments!!!<br/>When a customer feels wronged or ripped off or unpleased with what you're suppose to be providing<br/>Here's a tip...ask the customer what will it take to make them satisfied. You'd be surprised how little it takes. Be clever, if you're not offering anything they want...comp something they already ordered. It's not that hard.<br/>Nothing off the bill...so as a customer the only recourse is reflected in the tip and this "lovely" review.<br/>The food is good and I like the atmosphere<br/>but I miss the servers they had and they need to step up their customer service.

Excellent place. I had been reluctant to try Moxies in Brampton mainly due to the fact that I am not a big fan of Chain restaurants. We finally tried Moxies just before the holidays. Verdict, excellent food, excellent service and great atmosphere. Even though it was evident that there were some Holiday celebrations taking place with several groups, my wife and I were given full attention. The food was great and reasonably priced for what we ordered considering the surroundings. I would give them a full 5 stars.

Great Dinner Chain. I've been coming to this Moxies location for a couple of years now (mostly on Wednesday evenings for drinks and appetizers). I do enjoy coming here for dinner as well, as their oven roasted chicken entree is always amazing. My husband and I visited this restaurant yesterday evening to celebrate our anniversary, and we were not disappointed. The chicken was great (as usual) and he devoured his blackened chicken burger. It was also half-priced wine (glasses), so I got two for the price of one (their house pinot is quite nice). We also caved and chose desserts (mini caramel-pecan cheesecake, oh my gosh, so good - as well as the "bite of brownie" - equally tasty).<br/><br/>Great food, lovely ambiance (nice and cozy in the chilly weather!) and helpful/friendly staff.<br/><br/>Will continue coming back!

What happened to the pretty ladies. Heeeeey sexy laaaaaady!!! Back again on a recent trip to area Nothing has changed.. Tucked away had great service, prices, and easy parking. Oh yes, and a menu and ambience that everyone can enjoy except ladies quality is dropping too bad. Recommended!

Vomitted After Eating the Shrimp Tacos. Moxies is definitely an interesting place in Brampton - but for all the wrong reasons. The value for your food is definitely not there given the price your paying. You would do better at visiting a local mom-and-pop shop in the neighborhood rather than Moxies. <br/><br/>The wait staff is ok, sometimes a hit or miss. The food is definitely not all there, its definitely a miss. The only positive would be their "patio" which is an okay way to beat the heat - but there are probably some better places out there. <br/><br/>But be forewarned about the shrimp tacos - I ended vomitting them out about 20 minutes later. I then told management about this - and basically, they didn't end up doing anything - even though I overheard another table complaining about the tacos too. They told me no one else had any problems that night with the tacos - which was a lie. In the end, at any other restaurant, I would have gotten a voucher, something off my bill, or some form of monetary compensation at the very least - its good customer service - but something that this Moxies knows nothing about.

Crap. Felt like good fun fun and fab ladies. The Brampton branch does not have the girls that show off their bodies. paid the $ and ate the food but this branch is not managed same manner as the other branches of this location ive been to. Whatcha gonna do? Looking for better solutions in Brampton now

I had a craving for a steak. Hoping to have a nice fillet mignon but unfortunately they don't have that in their menu. The steak was okay, the mushroom a little bit salty and the mash potato.... Well I had better than that, maybe it was a really busy night for the cook but the waitress are amazing, pretty and they always smile at you, great service and at the end I have a chocolate mousse. The dessert was good, usually I never get dessert but because of the main course I decided to give it a shout. Over all, I would go back in a quiet night but for now I don't love it or hate it.

Not many variety of food, i guess they picked certain foods that fit the atmosphere

Good date night!. I was definitely impressed with the service at this particular location. The servers are very tentative and friendly. I love the casual sophistication of the bar area. The food is always consistently delicious!

Great Service for Allergy Sufferers!. I have severe food allergies and the manager went out of her way to make sure that my food was safe. She even had someone go out to a local store to get me rice crackers for my bruchetta. She was awesome! I've never had anyone take such care before. Great place!

Memorable! I have now gone to Moxie's near Bramalea City Centre Mall a few times this year, and everytime I have experienced something that made my visit special. There is no other restaurant in Brampton that trains its staff so well enough to be knowledgeable, to take care of their guests, and to truly be friendly.<br/><br/>I went there on my birthday and we were greeted nicely and allowed to sit at the table that we wanted. The appetizer, the avocado rolls, were really delicious, so different and creative! The choice of food is creative, original and scrumptious. When I ordered my drink, it took a while longer than we expected. While we were eating the appetizer, the waiter asked how we liked it in a timely manner. Then a manager came and asked about my drink. When I said I was unsatisfied, she apologized with a big smile and said that she would make it right. I was so impressed! When the drink came in, it was perfect, it reminded me of my time in Mexico! The meal was wonderful and the prices are so reasonable! When my husband's steak was not as well as as he'd ordered, the waiter did not ask me about it in a timely manner (they should usually come within 5 minutes to ask about your recently brought out meal), but a manager was walking around and asked us about our meal. When my husband alluded to the undercooked steak, he apologized and offered to get us a salad and a beer. My husband appreciated it so much, even though he said no, the thought and the positive attitude was so nice! At the end they gave us a free dessert on top of it all! I truly felt appreciated! This was not the only positive experience I had, but just the latest.<br/><br/>This restaurant is a gem in Brampton because it has class and feels like it's a high-end downtown Toronto restaurant because of the high standards of food and beautiful service...right here in Brampton! And this is coming from a customer that is not at all easily impressed! Don't you change a thing, Moxie's in Bramalea!

If you are looking for a place to go that offers great food and good service then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a place that serves bad food but has waitresses in short skirts then try Hooters, T&As or the Sword&Shield... oh wait they are all closed now... guess you'll have to go back downtown for the peep show

Because it's Brampton?. I like The Moxies chain. Generally speaking the good sir T.O. does not have attractive, modern restaurants and the concept that they have is the best. The menus contains pasta, meat and even some ethnic options. The wine rack is well stocked and spirits are high amid the very classy establishment.<br/>But I have a beef with this restaurant. At most Moxies the waitstaff are good looking young ladies with hair down their backs but over here the dresses were very conservatives and frankly boring, yes boring. Don't know why expect maybe Brampton. Less fun here.<br/>The steak was still genuine and the potatoe was good but because of that wouldn't place an order of drinks if I wasn't in these parts for business and with associates. Not geared towards business execs.

Brings some class to Brampton. This is the hottest restaurant that I've ever seen. It's also a great place to watch the hockey game as they play with full volume and they bring down the big screen. But much like the other Moxie's restaurants, the food is pricey and it better be a date to impressa girl not bring yer wife. The service here isn't quite as good as the other locations (Mississauga is hotter waitresses and shorter skirts), probably because this place is always sooo busy so they dont need to try!

Moxie's is a place for the young, beautiful, and chic dressed people and staffed by young, beautiful, and chic dressed people. Which made me question the quality of the food.

From the moment you walk in the door you know you are going to have a good time and good quality service! Everything is quality here!! Cleanliness is impeccable, staff are extremely helpful, and the food is out of this world! It's was like having a party in my mouth drinking their "Peach Bellini". Yummy!
