This place is amazing šŸ™Œ. Each dish has a sprinkle of magic. The chicken wings are to absolutely delicious. And the beer... Oh... One of the best in the province. The staff is friendly and professional. Will revisit this place again and again and again... I never get tired of trying out new beers and food. Love it ā¤ļø

Had great time trying a couple of flights of the beers on tap. Was nice to also purchase the cans and take home. Good service despite being rather busy on a Saturday weekend. Pizza also had lots of meat and crust was delicious. Thanks for great meal after burning some calories hiking.

Had a great lunch today at Howe Sound Inn & Brewing. Although it was busy we only waited a few minutes to be seated! Our server Shelley was working hard to serve all of the tables. We got our order in promptly and received our beer in great time. A sign of a good brewery is when they have so many great choices it is hard to choose! We had a pint of the Howe Sound Lager for their $6.50 special! Fantastic beer and price! We ordered fish & chips and the Oh My Gourd pizza! The food was excellent ! We look forward to coming back! Great atmosphere!

Absolutely magical. The poutine definitely lived up to its name - where the sauce soaks through the fries and gives it a very unique taste. The pizza was cooked to perfection too, with generous toppings and evenly balanced dough to sauce ratio. 10/10. Last but not least, their beer selection is fantastic.

Basic hotel without the charm and just the very basics. Lumpy pillows, tiny bathroom with peeling plastic on the toilet seat.. Window view of aluminum siding of the building next door so total lack of natural light in the room. The reviews give 87% positive for breakfast - there is no breakfast, the restaurant opens at 11 am. While the meal I had in the pub was good, there are far better places to spend the night for this kind of money.

We visited the pub yesterday. Good Beer, but the food was terrible I ordered brisket sandwich I was literally so sick after I ate this. My partner ordered fish n chips 2 piece all batter hardly any fish the pieces were so small. I wish I took pictures of his meal. We ordered soup as appetizer to find out it comes with your meal that was cancelled in hurry as the waitress says the cook is to busy the place was not busy I see why. Never will go back. Hopefully they threw out the brisket must of been in the fridge for over a weekšŸ¤® letā€™s feed the tourists bad meat. The waitress was definitely not friendly only when came to paying then of course she was chatty just so we would give her a tipšŸ˜‚

Worst dining experience. Food was good but not worth the horrible service. Took over 2 hours to receive tables food. Made the burger order wrong and was sent back to kitchen. Didnā€™t even bother to give a new bun or burger just picked off toppings and attempted to scrape off sauces. Everyone elseā€™s food showed up but the burger was wrong 3 times and by then it was unenjoyable to eat. When the bill came we were generally surprised we had to ask and wait 20 minutes for the burger to be comped. When we got the bill back after the comp it was more expensive as the drinks were now all charged even though we were told they were bottomless. And a gratuity was added on for large table(there was four of us). Then the manager shows up to our table almost 3 hours into our dining experience and asks how can I help you pay your bill? That comes across extremely rude. I would never come back here and felt horrible for suggesting we eat here for family visiting from out of town. Will never be back worst manager Iā€™ve ever had to deal with service was very poor sad to see one of my favorite restaurants go. Zero stars. Need to rehire all new servers and manager. Extremely rude!

Incredibly disappointed... the server seemed off right from the start, I'm sober and I can't drink pop, so I asked mineral water with lemon in a friendly and respectful way , apparently the worst thing I could have done, his facial expression, tone and body language was basically a "ugh you're so annoying". So he made me the incredible "favour" of bringing me some water in a glass with some lemons on a little plate so I can make my own lemonade. All good, I order some food, the order comes wrong, he comes and asks me if I got it and when I clarify, again in a friendly and respectful way that it was the wrong order he goes away to never return neither my correct food order. Fortunately the rest of the people at the table got their food and drinks and they were great! But honestly this personal experience is such a bummer.

Awesome spot! Great food, kids happy and a spectacular view. This place doesnā€™t look like much but it is right by the water and has a nice big patio.

Service:Ā Ā Table service but they were cash only that day, probably an internet connection issue. Atmosphere: It reminds me of a shack but it's a cool ass shack. Large TVs if you sports.Ā . Bottom line:Ā We came to escape from the rain after experiencing the most epic eagle watching ever. They had Caesars on special so we had that with some yam fries. Caesars was really good and had a serious kick to it. The rim of the glass was heavily seasoned and it made for an enjoyable experience. This review will be purely based on the Caesar and it was pretty darn good.

The Water Shed Grill is in Brackendale, BC, which is minutes away from Squamish. It has a casual bar and restaurant with West Coast eats with a riverfront patio. This places sits right right above the Squamish River and is absolutely beautiful. The interior has a very casual feel and as a local or a tourist, youā€™ll fit right in. The view from the heated patio is awesome. If you are into sports, they have a few screen to watch the game.

Went here for dinner and drinks on a Friday night and had an awesome time! Beers tasted fresh and crisp like the came from clean lines, the server was super funny and personable and the food was amazing. Ordered the quesedilla, poutine (which they make with beer battered fries, chicken gravy & real squeaky cheese) and the most unbelievable Creole prawns which are definitely a must. Love riding bikes over to this place and chilling on their patio with a blanket to watch the sunset and the beautiful river/mountain vista!

This place has one of the most scenic patios I have ever eaten on. It is situated right next to the river and has an amazing view of the mountains. It was easy to just sit back and relax and enjoy the scenery. The food was good but what I remember and enjoyed the most was the patio. I would return just for that relaxing moment.

It was a cold and windy day to watch for eagles along the river dyke in Brankendale and eventually, possibly even more quickly than eventually, our thoughts turned to lunch, warm surroundings, and . We discovered Ā The WaterShed Bar & GrillĀ along the dyke and it provided excellent views of the Squamish River, the potential of eagle sightings and some interesting food selections, including some wonderful burgers made from Pemberton beef.

Fantastic place for brunch-kids friendly too!. My husband and I with our 2 year old son went for brunch there last Sunday. It was still bit chilly for out side patio but the river view from there was superb! It was just peaceful and soothing watching river runs right across form your table. We were pleasantry surprised with the quality of food and drinks AND friendly service.
They have got a top notch list of cocktails, oh I would love to go back there for dinner and some drinks!

Kids friendly as well, so that helps too for a young family.

Average. This place has pretty average food and service. The view is nice, which is what keeps me coming back for a post-bike ride beer.

Waitresses from Planet Moron Serving Fresh Food. The worst service ever. The waitresses prance around in tiny shorts ignoring their customers, forgetting orders, and generally not doing their jobs. They have very little knowledge about food and drink and seem more focused on hair flipping than customer helping. We sat and sat and sat before we were helped, and only after flagging down a waitress three times. Despite the terrible service and many mistakes on our order, it is worth it to go just to have a few beers and a fish if you are not in any kind of a hurry and don't mind the abuse/neglect from the staff. The view from the deck is phenomenal. Try to get a seat on the side deck with the umbrella because it gets really hot in the direct sun of the evening on the back deck. The beer selection is pretty good. Do NOT order a margarita. We ordered two, and they tasted sort of like appletinis with sprite. Gross. The menu is a little boring, but the food was fresh and good. We had fish and shellfish and both were excellent.

Found the grilling bike riding. What great place. May not be appealing to the eye from the outside but the food and staff make up for that. Will be back

Good food. Tried to go on Sunday night in January, but it was very noisy as there was a football game on. Not complaining, it's a good sign the locals like it. But too noisy for my preference so came back the next day for lunch. Still busy, which was good. Great service, tasty food. Nice location right on the river. I will definitely go back,

I was there with my girlfriend a few weekends ago and was quite disappointed! Decor is wayyy off, smells moldy inside and the food was below average to me!! Slow, and were out of few features! Hhmmm?!? I wouldn't rush back. The bartender seems to put on a good show! But I was there to eat...

Cost cutting.. This used to be one of my favourite places in squamish -- great view, great patio (converts to insulated patio when cold outside), fun service, and good food...

i went for lunch the other day and ordered my lunch usual, the chicken sandwich: grilled chicken breast, avocado, brie, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickle. i'm not sure what happened since i last dined there, but it was pretty sub-par. the avocado was a microscopic spread (it used to be slices) and it was brown! the brie overwhelmed the sandwich because the chicken breast was cardboard thin!

it used to be a delicious mess, hard to eat, but sooo good. big juicy chicken, avocado slices, etc.. but now... it was just so disappointing!

Well worth the trip. I good friend of mine recommended this beautiful resturant just north of downtown Squamish in a community called Brackendale. The area is known for its eagle viewing but the real gem is this charming riverside resturant. The food was amazing and was only overshadowed slightly by the wonderful service my guests and I recieved. OH.....THE VIEW..... It has to be one of the most magical patio views i've had the pleasure to wine and dine on. I have become such a fan i make the 45min trip form Deep Cove at least once a week. Thank you to the staff and managers. You have won me over. Now..... how about another Watershed Grill in North Van????? Dear Santa...... lol

Great views, good food!. My friend (a local resident) suggested we try the WaterShed for lunch before we dropped our daughter off at Easter Seal Camp. Our daughter loved the food and the excelent service from our waitress. I enjoyed my crab cakes and salad with a Rip Tide martini! My husband said his Salmon Burger was good too. Our friend had the Fish Tacos, which were also excellent. Great location close to Easter Seal Camp Squamish. Fantastic Patio and view of the river. Good place for families to dine. We will definately return!

Great patio, great food. A friend and I dropped by the WaterShed Grill on Sunday afternoon, after having made the climb up the South Peak of the Stawamus Chief. The sun was beating down on the patio (after what had been a mainly drizzly day), and our sweaty clothes were dry within about five minutes. One glass of Jackson Triggs cab sauv, a couple pints of Rocky Mountain Lager and two salmon burgers (with yam fries for an extra $2 each) and we were very happy hikers indeed.

The WaterShed Grill doesn't look like anything much from Government Road (in fact, it looks like the back of someone's house), but from the front it's one of the nicest patios in the area, with a great view of the Squamish River (must be spectacular during eagle season), and a good view of the Stawamus Chief. The food and service were excellent, so I'd recommend this place highly.

Can't beat the location. Riverside patio is awesome. A little rough around the edges but that adds to the charm. At times it can seem more like a bar than a restaurant with a crew of regular characters that are usually found around the bar. Friendly staff and above average pin style food.

Love this neighbourhood watering hole... Their Cali chicken sandwich (roast chicken breast with avo and melted Brie on ciabatta) with yam fries is one of my favourite dishes there. That said, it would be nice if they changed the fresh sheet up more often for their regular crowd. :) The service is usually solid, depending on the waitress you get, and the view of the Squamish River can't be beat.

Delicious. Just a great atmosphere with the water beside you! A little off the beaten path but a must for any sight-seer or someone who likes to eat!

Cottage atmosphere on the river. After a day of climbing it's a great low key place to get food and spirits. Where you sit on a deck or cool cottage sun porch like atmosphere on the river. Only been to it in the summer (great evening light). It's a welcome switch from the Brew pub's food and atmosphere in town. If this restaurant can keep up with the service and quality I've received I'll keep returning.

Given the heat, we opted for an off the road place called The Watershed Grill. It had a beautiful patio, sandwiches and salads - perfect for the heat of this Squamish mid-day.

We made ourselves at home very quickly enjoying an apricot hefeweizen which was exceptional. The beer experience was further enhanced as we looked at the flowing water right underneath the patio. My lunch was the Fish Tacos - three large soft tacos packed with nicely flavoured grilled fish.

The french fries, on the other hand, were a disappointment - frozen fries coated with salt.

You may be a little skeptical when you pull up to the driveway. It is like someoneā€™s backyard, a modest shed. When you climb up to the top of the stairs you are greeted with a gorgeous view of Eagleā€™s Run ā€“ water, trail, beautiful mountain backdrop and a restaurant with front row seats.
