Review Main St. Delicatessen - Bracebridge

Stopped in here for lunch. Their sandwiches were good, although the bread on one was very greasy - perhaps buttered too much. The soup, fries, and pickle spears are delicious. Service was great - speedy and friendly. Would return here again for a good sandwich and soup/salad.

This place is just fantastic! Quality ingredients, exceptional deli meats and great service to boot. We enjoyed the Smoked turkey sandwich the most, and all of the side dishes (AMAZING salad dressing, fries and split pea soup with yummy bacon slices) were so tasty. Would highly recommend this place!!

I was very happy to stop in on a cold day for soup and a sandwich. Once the time came to pay, I was told I had a previous bill that hadn’t been paid (due to their own machine malfunctioning in November and after several attempts at reading my card, they said I could leave and it was their fault). It’s April. Without hesitation I paid as I am happy to support local. Having spent the better part of 10 years in the restaurant industry, it is ingrained in me that there is a right way and a wrong way to treat people. Unfortunately, they chose the wrong way. I was made to feel small, less than, and like I did something wrong. The comments that were made were rude and demeaning. Not to mention the receipt was completely discolored from being so old and was only for $55. They stated there was an attempt to call me and left a voicemail, but nonetheless, both bills, which were both about $55 will be the last I ever spend there. I hope the $55 was worth loosing several customers forever. Due to the discouraging and disappointing customer service, I will continue going to any other local restaurants where I have experienced nothing but exceptional customer service.

We ate here for the first time today. The sandwiches were fantastic, the lettuce, tomatoes and sour dough were fresh, the meat portion was very generous and the honey mustard was amazing. The service was great too. We’ll be back next time we’re in town, thank you Main St. Delicatessen.

Really good, but pricy. You can see the serving sizes in some of the pictures. Smoked meat sandwich and about a dozen fries for $17. My wife's club was twice the size for the same price. Would I recommend or go again? Yes, but maybe order something different.

Super yummy sandwiches with all the fresh ingredients, every time we’ve ordered! A huge selection on their takeout menu. Awesome amount of food for the price! Definitely recommend!

I've eaten probably 5,000 sandwiches in my life....and this one is easily top 5 EVER. Entire group is STILL talking about the experience weeks later!!!! Poutine is def worth it The spicy career is no joke spicy!!! Would consider making a detour just to go again!!!

Lisa and I are always pleased with our lunches at the Main St. Deli! Love the soups and sandwiches, and often try the specials. Note: It's a small space, so you will be near other people.

This is such great food. Captures all senses. Taste, smell, appearance, texture. The staff are friendly and you can really tell that they love the environment they work in. This deli is fueled by their passion of fine cuisine. Thank you for opening in our small town and making it a destination stop!

Just had lunch here :) Excellent home style Italian meatball sandwich and roasted garlic tomato soup for sharing with Katie. Food was delicious. Service was also excellent.

Really good soup & the Reuben had lots of smoked meat too. We all loved our meals, fantastic & fast service as well.

Cheerful and relaxed atmosphere, delicious sandwiches and soups. This is not your regular deli. Expect much more than just corn beef or pastrami sandwiches! A great experience.

Have been going there since it opened. Never disappointing. And if you don't see it on the menu just ask. They often have items that aren't posted. Any of the soups are amazing! Always friendly service. Casual atmosphere!

I have taken a few clients here for lunch (it does get packed!) and it's always great. They stand out in customer service hands down. Always a friendly greeting at the door, always accommodating. A fun place and best sandwiches and soups in town!
