Food wasn’t great at all, felt like retirement home food. I’m not sure how it was rated 4.5 stars overall. The decoration of the place is very old and food is definitely not fresh, all fish have the same shape. Waitress was very lovely and welcoming

For my first time in Nova Scotia, this is by far the best place to eat. Food is made fresh, is reasonably priced, and the waitress is extremely friendly. I ordered the seafood pasta, definitely the best lobster/shrimp/haddock dish I've ever had in my life. Will definitely be back next time.
This place has some awesome choice of food. The portions were pretty good. We got Poutine and spicy chicken roll with extra fries and the meal was above our expectations. The prices are average as somewhere in a big city. Will definitely recommend it to travellers. Just one thing check the restauran
Service was awesome, beef dip sandwich was HUGE and absolutely delicious. I had the fish cakes which were real fish (not mushy potatoes), and they came with green tomato ketchup…. 🤩!!! So glad we stopped for lunch!!!
awesome food for an awesome price always satisfied the waitstaff are awesome and even know your order after a while
My husband and I look forward to going here each month. The meals are piping hot, delicious and the staff are wonderful. I recommend this restaurant and it's food as the Best Home Made taste on the Island!!
Homemade food was SO fresh and reasonably priced. And the waitress was SO friendly...we'll be back!
