We stopped in to grab a tea to go, but it smelled so good we decided to eat there! So glad we did! Friendly people and the food is amazing! Try the sampler you won’t regret it.

My absolute favorite place to eat in Bonavista, I visit every time I'm in the area and although I order the same thing every time (Oatmeal Brule with orange ginger cream, which is absolutely amazing btw) my friend has ordered many items and they're all delicious and their desserts are also excellent

Homemade food at its best!! Small restaurnt and much in demand. Better to reserve if you are visiting as seating is limited! They have limited vegetarian options.

Wonderful little restaurant. Staff was attentive, weather was perfect to sit on their outdoor patio. The menu is extensive plus they serve breakfast all day long! Their pancakes with partridge berries and Canadian maple syrup was out of this world. Great place to go for any meal of the day. Very cut

Big mistake to order roast beef. It was traditional grey / shoe leather and staff thought that ok. Yorkshire pudding not made the right way. Chowder was decent don’t go off grid here .

Came here for lunch and breakfast and the food is delicious, hearty and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the pea soup and chowder a lot. They are only open from June to September really to serve the tourists. Don't be deceived by its name being a tea room though. They only serve David's Tea!

I like to call myself a critic of seafood chowder. I've had some terrible seafood chowder across the country and some awesome ones. The seafood chowder at this place is absolutely phenomenal. It's their speciality.
