Review The Humber River Pub - Bolton

Jason Baptista
This is a great little hole in the wall. Very diverse specials menu and great prices! When your driving north on 50 through Bolton, pass all the franchise restaurants till you get close to the Humber River. Hang a quick left before the bridge and Stop in. Treat yourself to a beautiful, Ontario craft beer (like a Creemore) and some dinner. Dont forget to tip the very friendly wait staff.

Has bar tenders serving alcohol without a smart serve. Very sly bar. #slumbar #homewrecker

Dinner and drinks with friends on a Saturday night...food was great!!! Staff and service wonderful, we even had an opportunity to chat with the new owner. Definitely will be back and would highly recommend. For the readers of the past reviews... take note that any comments before March 2019 were for prior ownership. I had stopped going for quite some time but decided to check out the new management... so glad I went back ... if you haven’t been in a while you won’t be disappointed!!!

This place has really changed for the better. Gone are the riff raff and it is now a place the regular people of. Bolton can enjoy again. Good food, good casual atmosphere and the new owner is doing his best to keep it that way. If you have not been since it reopening on St. Patrick Day, I encourage you to try it out again.

Update: this pub is closed... Out of business. Good location. Nice atmosphere. Good pub for drink and meal. Lost one star because of the annoying owner... not certain who is in charge... the building owner or the manager. The building owner ruins it for all the guests with his rude comments and unwanted conversation.

A super cute pub, with big portions and good beer! Live music some nights, schedule on the webpage. Great burgers, french onion soup, and Shepard's pie. Quiet enough to talk, but cozy and not empty. We like to come here after hiking

We live 5 mins away and have been meaning to check it out since new management. Popped in for a drink the other night and we weren't disappointed. Didn't have time for food, but good selection of beers and friendly service. Old school, classic pub vibe you're looking for.
