Beautiful family who shares their passion through their food that brought back of wave of very fond memories for me of true Italian cuisine made from heart. I will miss this place so if you see this review in the next 3 days go now or miss your chance to be not only impressed but this dish makes you feel good about life. Just picked up dinner at “The Italian Hot Table.” I had the spaghetti and meatballs, and the ladies were nice enough to fix my wife up half breaded veal and half breaded chicken with mushrooms and spaghetti (so she could choose whichever she preferred for next time.) Portion sizes were very generous, and price was excellent. Good, authentic comfort food. Will definitely go again.
Delicious! You don't always expect great food in a small town, but The Hot Italian Table is a must when you come to beautiful Bobcaygeon. Family owned and extremely friendly ladies run the place. We will be back consistently! I had the veal sandwich and my gf had the chicken. Both were awesome! No leftovers despite the hugh size of our meals! They also offer lasagna and pasta. Thanks for a great patio lunch!

If you are at Bobcaygeon, you have a multitude of restaurants to choose from. The Italian Hot Table restaurant is under stated and the first impression was very “take out cafeteria style” with a few tables and chairs for guests to eat in.
BUT, the staff are friendly and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. Living in an Italian neighbourhood, we have great Italian food experiences, and this little restaurant has one of the best flavours. The prices are reasonable as well.
For a quick Italian fix of lasagna, chicken parm, pasta.... you will love this place.
Small family owned Italian restaurant in Bobcaygeon. We love their eggplant parmesan and order for pickup whenever we get a chance. Eggplant can be bitter but theirs is always perfect. The women who run the place are very friendly and always great to chat with.
I had food catered from this lovely restaurant for a funeral of a very close friend. The whole interaction with the staff (especially Gabby) from beginning to end was just incredible. They went out of their way to prepare the food (even though they were closed on the day I requested the order), and went above and beyond to find a delivery service so I didn't have to worry about pick up. Throughout the whole process they were communicative, responsive and just so compassionate to the situation. On top of it all, the food was just amazing!! The lasagne was great and perfectly layered, the salad was fresh and the bread was delicious. It was perfectly prepared and warm to the touch when it arrived (exactly on time). The entire experience, despite the circumstances, was just so incredibly and brought a little light to the family for the day. Thank you so much Hot Italian table for the delicious food and amazing experience. We will absolutely be back for more!
I had the best lasagna here yesterday; home made noodles and amazing flavored pasta sauce, it was tender and filling with the large portion sizes. My daughter was craving spaghetti and loved the traditional meatballs and pasta. She demanded we eat here 2 days in a row. The selection of food is varied and amazing, each day there were different selections of tasty meals to choose from. I had a stuffed bell pepper for lunch today and it was great. The pepper was still al dente, which I appreciated along with the tasty filling and amazing marinara sauce. I can't recommend eating here enough. Even my wife, who is a picky eater, loved the stuffed portabello mushrooms. Finally, to the the amazing family running this restauran I would like to say thanks! See you next summer.
Had the lasgne very enoughable. Very similar to Mama Martino's (Etobicoke). The tomato sauce is not as tangy as MM's. Also had the stuffed pepper; very satisfying. Would return if I happen to be back this way.
