Great atmosphere! Good service. Awesome view of the slopes! Pricey food, but the nachos were amazing. Yes, I understand. It's blue mountain village. Overall, pretty good experience. I'll be back!

Great spot right at the base of Blue Mountain. Our waiter was excellent and the food was superb. Inside, they have places for your helmets and jackets and the all-wood, cottage-y interior with bright windows makes is the perfect place for lunch after a morning of snowboarding. If its warm enough the patio tables have fires in the middle of them, so cool! Best bar in Blue Mountain!

We went snowboarding with my wife and our little baby. So stayed in Rudy's all day while other one was on the mountain. Waiters were really helpful and their meat platter was just a bomb!!! Proper apres ski atmosphere there as well. Also the best location. 5/5 best place to hang out in Blue Mountains.

Fun atmosphere, great view of the slopes, lots of beer options but no local or specialty brews. Place is large with lots of tables and a big patio. Our server was friendly and prompt, checking in a couple times even as the place filled up. I recommend the Pitmaster’s Platter for two, it’s a lot of food for the price, usually a barbecue platter is more expensive for the amount of meat we got! Wings and fries were freshly cooked and hot but the brisket, pulled pork, and ribs were just warm, not hot, with the brisket being room temp at best. The taste of all the meats were good and the portions of each were large and the coleslaw and bean salad were also tasty. If you’re craving barbecue like my husband and I this will hit the spot.

Amazing steak. Slow but efficient service as only one server. Could do with a better choice of beers.

So as someone who has actually had Nashville chicken I can tell you this was the worst chicken I have had Nashville or otherwise. I was dry over cooked and had no flavour probably no seasoning in breading and hot sauce non existent. A glass of pop was $4 and NO REFILLS!!! Glass was loaded with ice hardly any pop. Also ordered a plain burger and surprise had toppings on it and had to be sent back. To me this was like a tourist trap and they don’t care because it’s not like if you’re there for a few days and you’re going more than once. Very sad.

This slopeside pub is lots of fun and the food is great. Not expensive compared to the other places at the village. We had the meat platter for 2. Surprisingly, it came with lots of veggies.

It's a great BBQ place but with the long weekend I can understand maintaining the rush of all the tables is hard. Still had a great experience and the brisket BBQ plate was delicious!! Definitely get their cauliflower bite appetizer!

Disappointed in their nachos. Their menu is not accurate. It says $3.00 more for EXTRA salsa, sour cream or guacamole. What a joke because they don’t give you any guacamole to begin with. Don’t order the nachos - they are not worth $18.00

Gord and I had supper this evening at Rusty's at Blue Bar and Barbeque.<br/><br/>I ordered Rusty's cheeseburger (minus the cheese, onions, poppers and lettuce). It was okay. The patties were good. I found the bun too hard. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be that way or if it had been sitting out for a while. I just realized that there was no bacon. I'd try something else if I went there again.<br/><br/>Rusty's prides itself in having a smoker BBQ so Gord ordered the Prime Beef Brisket. He said it was good and he'd get it again.<br/><br/>Cassidy was our server. She was friendly and took good care of us.

Went in for clubbing , music wasn't too bad and crowd was amazing thats for sure. <br/>Being a DD , my friend had few drinks and were same as other places. We beat the line by entering before 10 but got busy lineups later

Fish tacos and poutines at the base of the mountain. Very pretty views of the mountain and little ski village.. Portions were extremely large, not the sizes we are accustomed to so did take a lot of food home with us. All round good service and tasty food.

Good size portions. Beautiful patio right in the heart of the village looking at the mountains. We were able to tie our dogs up to the fence beside us and the waitress brought a big water bowl for them. Food is decent bar food. Smoked meats were good. Caeser salad is what you'd expect. Nachos were very good. The chips are thick and seasoned. It's a bit expensive but everything is in the village.

A great place to go in the day time for the brisket, which is amazing. Tender and full of flavour. I've never had anything else on the menu when I go here. But I don't want to. At night it turns into a dance club. It can be fun but it depends on who you go with and how much alcohol you've consumed.

False advertising. Went there last friday for a pint (jan 23). The menu states pint 20oz $8. What you really get is an 16 oz glass made to look like a traditional sleeve of 20oz. When i asked the server he said the glass was just changed and the menu was printed wrong. <br/><br/>Beware of places like this. If they are going to deceive you on a beer you can bet the rest of the menu might be wrong. Perhaps their AAA steak is really a A or AA steak.

The reason I like this place is not because of the stellar food, but we had good service, fantastic Bloody Ceasars & the French fries were really good! Go to Byrns Irish Pub if you want a truly nasty experience!

Worst place ever. Anyone who has made a good review post is definitely a friend or relative of the owners. Basically it's a pick up place for 18 to 20 year olds, this is not a restaurant where you will find good QUALITY food. The food tastes like it has been fried in very old oil. Very greasy, heavy and you actually feel sick about a half hour after you eat there. This I've been told also by the people with who I visted there with. To make matters worse the owner who thinks he can DJ is a complete moron. It's obvious he eats there judging by his size, but he thinks hes a gift to women the way he flirts with them. When we complained about his behaviour servers confided in us that it is a regular occurance with him and to ignore his rude unethical behaviour. If anyone requested a song to play he would get annoyed. what dj gets annoyed with people making requests? perhaps we were to old for him as we were not 21 year olds looking for a fat ugly sugar daddy.

Not sure what everyone is talking about- this place is good!. Been to Rusty's many times....almost everything I've had has been great. Service has been friendly and reasonably quick. Ribs - good, pulled pork - good, California salad - amazing.<br/><br/>Prices are a bit steep...but have you looked around and noticed where you are? Everything in the village is more expensive then it would be if it was in town....just like any other spot that charges a premium for their location

Terrible Service and Quality. I have been here more than once and am reminded what a disappointment this restaurant and bar is. Food quality is poor, the cleanliness is awful and the service is terrible. As a nightclub it gets even worse...how hard is it to play good music that the crowd will dance to, serve drinks and not be rude to the paying patrons?

Very Dissapointing.. Just went to Rusty's this past Sunday and have to say that I've never complained about a restaurant after leaving it... and that's all changed. My entire family was disappointed in both the food and the price. A few of our dishes were ACTUALLY difficult to stomach. The service was alright- but i guess it had to be in a place where the food clearly didn't cut it!!!

Food was okay, wait staff were very friendly, but the prices were astronomical. I couldn't believe that the average price for a menu item was $16. Not worth it for what you get. It was fried into tastelessness.

What I would like to say about this extremely disappointing experience will be tempered so as not to be removed. But a burrito that is not a burrito, a half rack of ribs that looks like a high school cafeteria experiment, and fries that were painfully non-descript. On the up side, they haven't yet figured out how to ruin a cold beer.

Unsafe Coat Check. Waited in a line in which the bouncer let in one person from every 3 that stepped out of the place. Left my coat in coat check only to have it missing when I went to retrieve it. THEY HAD GIVEN MY COAT TO ANOTHER PATRON (my $650 coat) who thankfully stumbled back into coat check. I noticed he had it and got it back, with no apologies from the incompetent girls running the show. Shots were given in less than 1 oz plastic shooter cups. Only good for cheap beer. Crowd sucked too. Lots of underagers.

RUSTY'S COAT-CHECK LOSES JACKET AND KICKS ME OUT. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I checked my coat at the bar on saturday night and they lose it. Instead of giving me fair compensation for my moderately priced $350 jacket, they accuse me of inflating the worth of it and KICK ME OUT IN THE COLD IN MY T-SHIRT. Wouldn't compensate me a dime afterwards.<br/><br/>The owner's a complete ***hole. Drinks were expensive and staff was rude.<br/><br/>So bring family and friends here IF YOU HATE THEM AND NEVER WANT TO TALK TO THEM AGAIN.

Bad. Food was horrible, the wait staff were trashy and rude, and to be around so many immature 19 year olds was annoying. Will venture outside the village next time to look for fun.

For a beer... that's about it... Was at Blue Mountain for the weekend and tried this place out.<br/><br/>Food was lackluster.. out of a box, chain restaurant grade.. the service came in lower than that... we thought it may be because the place is more a bar than a restaurant... went back at night for some drinks and the place was just as empty...<br/><br/>Such a good location, too bad... maybe they are a winter place..<br/><br/>We'll try it again once there is snow on the ground.

Food was not good. Way too pricey for the lack of quality. Their grilled veggie salad didn't even have grilled veggies! Their soup that they call 'mealsize' is FAR from a meal! Their chicken soup had raw carrots and celery inside. Could say a lot more things about the poor quality of food...

Hit & Miss. I think overall the prices of food here are a little high for a pub. And the food so far that we've tried is sometimes good and sometimes not. The dry spice wings were good. The burger I got the other day was not good at all and way overpriced - $17 for a burger and fries? And the burger was not home-made and tasted weird like it was a mixture of beef and maybe some filler. It was quite tough - didn't have the consistency of a burger. It should have been home-made at this price.

Seemed like a Rip Off. They charged us full price for a refill on a soft drink. $3.25/glass in a restaurant is too much. <br/><br/>What your credit card charge vs. the slip, they seemed to have tacked on a little extra after I signed. <br/><br/>The food was good, but I likely won't return.
