The only quality sushi in belleville, do not waste your time at the buffets! This place is quiet small and absolutely wonderful. The only place ill go to get my fix, highly recommend the Seattle rolls and there bento boxes. Never been served a piece of food here that wasn’t completely delicious.

Stumbled upon Toro as we were driving through Belleville on Canada Day and nothing else was open. We come from Toronto, and the food here was not bad. Affordable lunch prices; they offer bentos and maki sets. Not much variety to choose from for the lunch sets, but it fills you up and gets the job done. The spicy bulgogi was surprisingly delicious ; ) The teriyaki sauce was really yummy too. We weren't impressed with the way the salads were flooded; a huge pool of water sat at the bottom of every bowl. Overall an alright sushi resto.
Absolutely delicious! We saw the ratings and figured it is going to be good. It was more than good! We ordered the deep fried tempura salmon sushi, the tofu, the udon sea food and the chambong soup, all dangerously delicious you can't stop eating. Very friendly staff. We loved the experience and we'll go back again.
Not bad for Belleville. They have great lunch specials making good sushi a bit more affordable. Staff is always friendly and they get food out quickly. But the sushi is okay, but like I said good for Belleville. I've just definitely had better.
I will keep going back though, it's decently priced and a good option in the area.
They do quite well there, and usually have a constant flow of customers coming in and out, you'd think they'd use some of the money they earn to fix up the place. It's very out dated, and they need new tables, chairs, decor, lighting. If they did that it would move my 3.5 to a 4 star.
The furniture and tables need a serious facelift, but the food was flawless. The service was prompt and warm. I would recommend to anyone. Price was also very reasonable.
Hidden treasure. BEST SUSHI AROUND. I lived in Toronto before i moved to belleville, so I've been to many sushi restaurants. Toro sushi is hands down the best. Always excited to go and always satisfied. recently took 5 of my sushi loving friends from out of town. They liked it so much they wanted it again before they left. you have to go a few times to appreciate the variety of rolls they have. my personal favorite is the seattle roll (its spicy)
Great maki and service. Try the Hawaiian. It takes a little longer to prepare but it's worth it! Miso soup is just right and the spicy hand rolls are terrific. Keep up the great work folks. *Nod* to one of the best servers in the area: Crystal.
The food was delicious and the service was really good. The atmosphere was friendly. The sushi was a bit on the small side but still good.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. It's not always easy to find good Sushi in a small town! But Toro goes above and beyond! The place is spotless, and the food is so good! Very friendly and quick service! It's not cheap but it's not expensive! Worth every penny!!!!
