Review Casa Cappuccino - Barrie

I was very disappointed today when I went to order a coffee and I had to interrupt the staff after being ignored while they had a personal conversation. They were out of the only flavoured coffee and said some more was brewing. I then went to fill a bag of coffee beans and the container was empty and I had to look through the top covers of the containers because the glass so filthy you couldn’t see in. Sadly, the other containers were also mainly empty. I went to get some help and the two baristas looked at me and proceeded to then ignore me again and carry on their personal conversation. I continued to stand at the counter waiting for some help for a couple of minutes but eventually gave up and left. I have been coming here for years and have never seen this place in such a state of disrepair with such terrible service!

It's my second time at Casa Capuchino. The young lady with blonde highlights who served me was not nice. I wanted to try something new so I ordered Fresh Red, which is supposed to be rooibos tea with apple juice. I got rooibos tea with ice instead. When I asked where I could get a straw, she just ignored me (it turned out the only place where I could get it at that time was the counter where I made my order). I had to go back to clarify that it wasn't Fresh Red and asked to remake it.

My wife and I have been going to Casa-Cap for years. Great coffee & more. Very friendly service.

Ordered a chai tea latte and it was very ordinary and was just sugar and milk I think? But the barista was really friendly and told me sugar level is fixed (when I asked for less sugar) because they don’t add extra sugar to the lattes, it’s just syrup. She ended up giving me a bit less of the syrup and asked me to try it first - if I needed more syrup the, she would then go and add more syrup. I think they’re more known for coffee though, so give the coffee a try!

Favourite Latte, favourite view, I love coming for Saturday morning coffee to Casa Cappuccino. The staff are so friendly, just like the owners. It always feels like coming to see family. Summer has outdoor seating beside the park. This morning, Chai tea latte and my son os having a mango-banana Lassi. Yumm.

One of my favourite places downtown to get coffee. But very disappointed that they don't update their hours on Google.
