Review South St. Burger - Barrie

My family and I love South st burgers. We have tried every single one on thr menu. They are excellent quality. Juicy, tender and some very interesting variations.

I love working here at South Street, and bringing my family to eat here :) excellent quality and portioning, child friendly,and llbo so you can grab a cold beer with your delicious burger ;) would highly recommend!!

Best burgers and fries ever .They offer amazing choice of toppings.

A loootttttt of options to choose from. Prices seem high but when you see the portion you get and taste it, it looks like a steal. Excellent food quality and very friendly staff. Oh, don't forget to try their strawberry shake.

My husband and I love eating here. The best burgers and fries. We recently went for lunch and had flies walking all over our cheese and in the lettuce, we asked the girl to please shoe the flies away from our food and her response was " Have you ever eaten outside? There are flies everywhere".... We were very disappointed in her response and lack of getting the flies away from our food....

My husband and I had ordered dinner the other night through skip the dishes, and we had ordered a veggie burger for him and a salad for me. It showed up really quick and we were excited to eat.. half way through my husbands burger he realized it was beef instead of a veggie patty. We haven’t eaten meat in years and made him extremely sick. We immediately called the restaurant and spoke to a women who was extremely rude and said “well mistakes happen”. My husband asked her to take his number and have the manager call him when they could. The rude lady on the phone then quickly took the number and said “ok then bye” and hung up on my husband. We have still received no new phone call, no new burger and no refund. They are lucky this wasn’t a allergy and just a dietary preference. The fact he got extremely sick and was told “mistakes happen” as if she didn’t even care was a huge bummer coming from a restaurant we ate at every time we wanted a treat... the veggie burgers are so yummy! Disappointed at how my situation was handled, and defiantly will be looking for a new place to enjoy our burgers at.

My Mom and I stopped there for a late lunch today and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. My Mom had a hot dog and said it was one of the best she had. My veggie burger was fantastic and the sweet potato fries were amazing! Glad we went there and we will go back again.

Very good burger joint. The food is very good, made fresh on a grill. excellent choices of topping and sauses, nice atmosphere. Because its real beef they take the internal temperature of every burger before serving it. I paid a dollar extra to get a gluten free bun they asked if it was preference or allergy. Because I said allergy they got all the topping from new container to make sure there no cross contamination. Nice attention to detail. Thumbs up from me.

Was there for first time yesterday. Had the mushroom/swiss combo. Thought it was excellent food, friendly and fast service. My friend had the same burger on a gluten free bun. She was dissapointed in the bun however that is because it was gluten free. I told her to jump off the bandwagon and come back to the dark side. ( she has just chosen the gluten free way not for any dietary reason)..I will be back. Thanks.

I made my first visit to South St. Burger a few days ago and the food was delicious! The burgers are definitely the best in town!

I had the Mushroom Swiss it was yummy! Hubby had the Nacho burger it was a also yummy! Just a little disappointed that they didn't have any red wine as they offered it on their menu�

Our favourite burger joint in Barrie. Fresh healthy beef, loads of toppings, and the sides are just as delicious.

I have never had a better veggie Burger!! So happy!!

Fantastic experience tonight. Never been treated so well in a place like this. Would recommend over any other burger joint in town!

Love the Burger and especially the variety of toppings! I always have it with goat cheese and mango relish. So delish! Can't wait to come back
