I've been to The Dunlop Street Diner twice, both times for breakfast.
Food was very good, and most important to me - it came to the table very hot!
Coffee was good. Freshly-squeezed orange juice much appreciated. Even the bread, sourced from a local bakery, was truly wonderful all on it's own.
My server was Nicky - she was very sweet and informed me of the diner's farm-to-table mentality and passion. The cook was Amanda - who I spoke to afterwards to thank her. She was most approachable and appreciative.
I'm fairly new to Barrie, and this diner will ABSOLUTELY always be the place I go for breakfast whenever I'm downtown.
The food is absolutely delicious and the staff were amazing! I would highly recommend making this your breakfast and lunch destination!
After a long awaited opening, Dunlop has a new ' must-eat-at' staple. The staff were exceptional, the ambiance is welcoming and the menu offers something for all tastes - especially benedict lovers.
