Review Panera Bread - Barrie

This is what my warm bowl looked like when I opened it up. I thought the delivery guy went to town on my bowl. Aside from this the “warm” bowl was not warm despite it arrivg within 15 minutes of ordering. There was very Little of the toppings as u can see from my photo and tasted very dry and just very bland. I almost never give a bad review but this meal was so bad on every level… I need to mention that this is the large bowl. Only it arrived half empty. So disappointing.

Whilst the service from a very rude manager already almost ruined my appetite the 33$ charge for a small smoothie, mac and cheese that looks like it belongs in a child lunch and a sandwich that could've been bought at your local grocery for 3$ is what did it for me. If your going to have a nice lunch close by go to Williams cafe!

The food is great. I sadly won't be going back due to the really insane prices now. Its no longer an option for a family of 4 unfortunately. I'm giving 5 stars because, the quality and customer service is great. Its just not do-able for us anymore.

I really enjoyed my Uber ears order of the Green goddess Cobb salad last week and decided to pick one up when I was out at park place Today. It was not the same!! There were way too many tomatoes, barely any dressing and pickled onions, and after looking it up online apparently it’s supposed to come with bacon! I feel like I just overpaid for some lettuce and tomato and a little bit of chicken. They definitely need to do better. Consistency is key!

First time here! and will definitely go back. Not only was the food amazingly fresh and delicious but the staff went out of their way to help me with my questions and selections. Just look at this delicious strawberry poppy seed salad I got. Great job Panera Bread. :)

My hubby enjoyed his turkey avocado sandwich! The strawberry chicken poppy seed salad was so fresh, and ridiculously huge! The pineapple in it paired so well with the chicken. I would have liked the dressing to have a bit more of a bite to it, but my hubby liked it as it was. Their kettle chips were surprisingly good!

Went through drive through as indoor dining still isn’t an option here…. Ordered soup. Broccoli cheddar and chicken Thai. Soups were good. Absolutely no chicken in the chicke Thai soup and the baguette that was served was ripped apart. Completely unacceptable. Won’t be going back

Placed a catering order for a funeral, 3 weeks ahead of the event. The order was $810 and to be picked up (no delivery needed). After placing the order, the General Manager Vu called to advise me that he could not do the order. I asked why the order could not be fulfilled and he informed me that he did not have the staff. As a manager of a business, I was very shocked that the General Manager would turn down this sale. This order was 3 weeks in advance giving plenty of time to schedule staff to make the order. If no staff, then maybe the General Manager should take on the task of doing the order to make the sales. Now, due to this poor business practice we are left trying to find other options for the funeral, plus waiting 7-10 business days for a refund back on my credit card for the order I placed. Panera Bread has great food but needs to replace this General Manager with someone who cares about the business and its customers.

Panera Bread was always one of my favourite places to have a nice, healthy lunch. I always enjoyed all of the options to choose from. The past two times I have come into the restaurant have been unfortunately underwhelming. I ordered lunch a couple of months ago for myself and some co-workers, and we picked it up. When my colleague got back to the office, I realized that I never got the drink I ordered and paid for, or the chips which were to accompany my food. My decided to try Panera again this past Saturday with my daughter. We waited over ten minutes for our order to come to the table, and I finally had to ask about it. It wasn’t even being worked on. We had to make an appointment, so I asked if we could have it to go. My Classic grilled cheese was cold, and the cheese tasted like processed cheese. I expected more from Panera, as you always use fresh, delicious ingredients. My chips were missing (yet again). I paid $24 one grilled cheese, a kid’s mac n’ cheese, a cookie and two drinks, and that isn’t cheap. I don’t mind spending that, but not when the food is mediocre at best, and items are missing. I am unsure of what has changed at Panera, but I am very unimpressed and disappointed.

At this location, it's always a crap shoot. You pay for what the menu says your supposed to get. But, there's always something missing. It, you get an item you didn't order. How hard is it to put the cheese on the turkey, apple and cheddar sandwich? I've spent too much money at that location, allowing for a mistake once and awhile. Sadly , Panera food at that location is consistently inconsistent.

After waiting 16 mins for a $15 sandwich , I open the bag and zero sandwich inside !!!!!!!!!! So now get out of my car ( tried the drive thru to avoid this) watch to the counter and I am handed a tiny sandwich that looks as though it had been sat on !!! Will be telling absolutely every person I see. Disgusting service. you should be ashamed

The service was efficient, the wait time was minimual, my salad with chicken was delicious, and the portion of half order was sufficient for a light lunch.

First time visiting for me. Service was top notch, food was great. Not sure what other people were on about?

The environmental policy is terrible at Panera. I ordered food and a coffee. The food was fine, though expensive. But I was shocked when I was given a paper cup for my coffee. I said I was staying here and asked for a real mug. I was expecting them to explain they were backed up on dishes or something, but no she gave me a mug. So why is the default to give a paper cup?!?!?! When I sat and looked around every customer had a paper cup or for cold drinks a plastic disposable cup with lid and straw. I was appalled. I'll avoid Panera until they change their approach to environmentalism.

Awsome fresh and tasty food - somehow always get more items than we order or pay for! Love it.

They could not get our salads right, it took 3 times to Finally get the salad made correct. The potato soup is bland.however this is our first bad experience.

Never get the order right ! Ask for pickles never get them. Ask for a bowl of soup for supper she brings a cup . So hard to find good help these days .

I used to love Panera bread, but lately their portions have been ridiculous for the price you're paying. I ordered a 1/2 chicken Caesar for $7.09 and they literally filled a third of the bowl. I was left still hungry. And my friend ordered the broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl and they cut one inch of the bread out and filled only one inch of soup. We are both very unsatisfied and won't be returning until the portions are sorted out. This was the not first occasion that this has occurred.

I go to Panera Bread every chance I get. I wish we had one in Sudbury. I love their food! I love the quantity and I love the quality. I recommend Paneras to all my friends when I know they are going to Barrie. Ya, the prices may be a little high for some, I never thought so but you certainly leave the restaurant totally content!

This location is so run down!! The walls and carpets are dirty, the pastry display case was filthy, and the bathrooms, disgusting!! The owners seriously need to address these issues or we will not be returning. If the restaurant cannot be up kept and clean, I hate to see how the food is handled by staff :/ Sad to see since we enjoy the food.
