Review Applebee's - Barrie

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Environment, service and the food was GREAT... Valerie made the whole experience next level. Drinks were out of this world. Wanted to have e EVERYTHING on the menu, but thank God wifey controlled me... 10009% recommend.

We stopped on our way home from Wasaga and even though it was a Friday night we got a table right away. The waitress we had was probably the best service I've had in awhile. She was so warm and friendly. The food was delicious. We started with cheese curds and waffle fry poutine. The curds were devoured in 5 minutes. Everyone really enjoyed their meal I had brisket tacos and they were one of the best tacos I've ever had. We will be back again for sure

If anyone from Applebee's reads this that jingle on tiktok made me want to come and try it out I'll be honest with you had to drive 45 minutes to get there. The jingle was in my head so we decided to go for a dinner with a friend I must admit I was very impressed with the service the food was very good as well. Except the pizza. The deep fried mozzarella sticks for your traditional Frozen deep fried mozzarella sticks. I tried the quesadilla burger oh my God it was fantastic but the only thing is it looks a lot bigger on the menu and when it came it was small. I asked for the side mac and cheese to be extra spicy and they did a very good job accommodating that. There was no Oreo to get my Oreo shake so I just got a chocolate shake. And I like I said the pizza shouldn't even be called pizza you could probably get frozen pizza at your supermarket and it'll taste better. Our waitress was fantastic can't get her name right now but she had red hair. Just wondering why there isn't more locations across Toronto

I was excited to find out there was an Applebee’s in Barrie. I brought my whole family for dinner. The four of us enjoyed the food at this location. Our appetizer was the white queso and chips. Mains for the kids were the chicken tender and cowboy burger. My wife had the BBQ brisket tacos substituted her side for the waffle poutine, and my meal was the bourbon street chicken & shrimp. Service was surprisingly fast for a busy dinner time. Our dessert was the dulce de Leche cheesecake, and triple chocolate meltdown; we didn’t get the white chocolate drizzled so it was only double chocolate. The bbq brisket tacos flavour was amazing !

Didn’t know that there was an AppleBees in here!! Food was a treat to the soul!! Kids loved their mojitos♥️

My wife enjoys going to Applebee's as there isn't one where we live. They have a good variety of options and the food is pretty good. Portions are very generous; we had to pass on some appealing dessert options as we were so full from the shared appetizer and main course. Very friendly wait staff. Will definitely come here again.

We had a great time & we loved our server Sofia, she was fantastic and made sure all our expectations were met. Food was quick and hostesses were very friendly. Will definitely be back with the rest of the family!

Applebee's is one of our favourite restaurants great food, great service. We like the 2 can dine deal, the best value, the chicken wonton tacos are so good. We have never been disappointed with any menu item �

The food was ok, but my plate had a small crack in it. I tried to tell my waiter but they immediately defended the plate for some reason so I asked to speak to the manager. They then moved me to a different table in the back of the restaurant and the manager never showed up. From that point on I never saw my waiter again and never got a refill on my Bahama Mama. On my way out as I paid I heard the host mutter to one of the bar staff "that's the guy that doesn't like Chips" I just wanted another plate, the first one cut me. Good food, but strange staff.

The maple glazed salmon plate came with Mexican rice which was hard and dry my Cesar salad had little to nothing dressing. The salmon was not maple glazed they just put maple syrup in a small black side container never going back with the family

We always choose Applebee's for our family restaurant, it's the ONE place we can all agree on! Excellent atmosphere, fantastic service, and extensive menu. ��

First time eating here. We had a bruschetta bread starter which was very good. It was served separate with 4 pieces of texas toast with a bowl of bruschetta toppings. You can tell everything was made with fresh ingredients. For our entree I ordered the Bourbon street steak and my wife had the cowboy burger. I asked for med rare and it was served on a hot skillet sizzling in front of me at our table. The steak was cooked perfectly. The cajun spices add a nice hint of flavour and the mushrooms and grilled onions sealed the deal. It was absolutely delicious! My wife said she enjoyed her burger as well and it was very tasty! My one complaint would be the kraft vinegary ceaser salad dressing but i never have liked kraft ceaser. Others may, i do not. The service was great. Very prompt and professional. With minutes we had our drinks and then our starter. Once we finished the starter our entree's were at our table. I enjoyed my experience very much and will definitely be back next time I'm in town. Thank you!

Everything was delicious... our waitress was wonderful! Best salad I have ever eaten (kale salad with maple dressing.... delish!!!!) I will go back for sure! ���

Service was a bit slower than usual but it looked like they may have been short staffed. The wait staff did not stop they were so busy and the food was absolutely amazing! Definitely a restaurant that is very consistent:)

Delicious Food, Great service. My husband and I stopped in with our kids on a whim for the first time, we were thrilled with how friendly the staff was, when the food came mouths were watering with how good it smelled. Overall we will definitely be back.

The food was amazing but the service was not great at all. If this had been our first time at Applebee's I don't think we would come back :(

Since it's been a year since I was first there. The waitress was very friendly and helpful with our questions. The meals was great prices great.

Tonight we ordered through skip the dishes. When it was delivered the wings were cold, we were missing 2 items AND we had a hair in the mac and cheese (that was basically dry anyways). When I called the restaurant to let them know we were missing food, the women that answered told me I had to go pick it up! I asked for the manager and he told me she was wrong they would get a driver back to bring it to us. He then proceeds to tell me he will call me back to see how they can "make it right" and I still haven't heard back. This is really disappointing, looking at how much we spent. Over all Applebee's NOT IMPRESSED!

The food stands for itself, honestly. Burgers are top notch and the mains are great! I am writing about the service we received this afternoon from Stephanie. We have a service dog who is in training. After initially startling the dog, due to our lack of attention, Stephanie rode it out with grace. She was attentive and completely aware of what we were doing and why. She made us feel at ease and calmed us as well as the dog. She went so far as to let us know that we were welcome anytime and gave us the name of another server if she wasn't there. Well done Stephanie and thank you Applebees for being forward thinking!
