Review The Breakfast House - Barrie

Lovely Place, great service and magnificent food. Been here on a Sunday and I was able to get a table in no time and the service was spot-on, they will always ask you for coffee refills every 10 mins and the taste was just like fireworks in mouth.

This quaint little breakfast spot is hopping on Saturday mornings! The food is delicious and the homemade strawberry jam is superb. We always met here for breakfast dates before we got married and we just went for the last time before our big move! We're so grateful for the atmosphere The Breakfast House provided for all those dates! The employees were very friendly and made us feel like regulars in the big city. If we ever get back to Barrie, we'll stop in for a bite!

The staff working over there are professional, kind, respectful and admire their work ethics. The Dosa is so tasty and delicious. I feel like to visit again and again in this restaurant. I am rating 5 star because I like the staff working over.

Second chance fail. 2 of us went a few months ago. My friend had an omellette which was ok. My eggs and hashbrows were cold and sausage tasted like in was soaked in salt. Since it was early in the reopening we decided we would try again another day. We went today with friends. Very hit and miss. They served one of our dishes to another table and then realized the mistake and brought it to us. Since covid is still a concern, we asked it be remade. Pretty sure they just slid the food to another plate. Most of our food was luke warm at best. Fries have to be ordered separate with sandwiches at a cost and of 2.29 for about 20 very salty fries. Not impressed our brunch cost almost $80 for 4 people. Very disorganized. If you don't have the staff to serve all the tables, don't fill all the tables. Very disappointed. Cannot underdtand how this place got 4.3 average. Also, the repeated comments ' generous portions' and the single $ for price are outright untruths. I should have posted pics of our food. Not even close to what pics they share Won't be back.

Excellent delivery and magnificent taste. Great way to start off the day feeling energized from quality food and friendly service. I would recommend bringing your family here for breakfast.

The owners of this place really need to learn how to treat their employees better. There are labor laws out there for a reason. Making your servers clock out BEFORE they finish cashing out is absolutely unfair and greedy. Saving yourself 15 minutes of wages just shows how horrible your business is. And anybody coming here to eat is only supporting this third world slavery. I'm very surprised that the labor board hasn't come after you yet!!! This is a reason why they go through so many servers. Get your act together!!!

My Experience today at this location was less than ideal! I ordered a junior lumberjack and the only item that was hot was the bacon. The restaurant itself also had no heat.?? Ashley was very polite and helpful. I don’t think these are ideal working conditions either.

I had not been here in years and was pleased surprised to see they had upgraded the inside. Service was great and food was delicious! I will definitely be back!

Best breakfast in town.......weekends a lil wait but well worth it....staff is great........food is simply amazing.....the new renos definately make it the best breakfast destination in barrie.....jam is a must take home item.....

Been going here every weekend for many months with my girlfriend. Food is amazing and always brought out rather quickly. Servers are kind and do a great job. Coffee is good. All around a great place to go for breakfast. If you go before 11am expect a line. This place is amazing.

The Breakfast House is the place to be for breakfast!! The food is amazing! Mouth watering. It feels like home when you enter. Sometimes weekends have a bit of a wait. But honestly the wait is so well worth it! Thumbs up all the way.

I have been here probably 15 times since opening and have never had such a bad experience as I did today...... First of all it was not busy and we waited forever..... Coffee refills after 30 minutes... food came out all cold and when we asked about items on the menu what came was not what was promised at all. Very disappointed and may not return.....
