Wife and I went for our anniversary. Service and food was Amazing! Best of all our 2 month old slept the whole time allowing us to enjoy our meal! We had the beef wellington and the duck. Although both were amazing I would highly recommend the duck!

The North has been our favorite spot since it opened at the corner of Dunlop. Now just up the street in a modern updated location, they are better than ever.
My wife and I decided to go there tonight to celebrate our 16 year anniversary. Previewing the menu yesterday, I noticed that my wife's favorite, Beef Wellington was not on the menu. I sent an email this morning asking if there was any chance it could be ordered. Marco himself responded that it would be made for her. Sure enough, Beef Wellington it was and it was fabulous as we find all of their food.
We later found out that Marco was actually off and at his cottage. He even followed up with his staff to make sure it would be looked after.
Sitting stuffed, we were then surprised when a complimentary dessert platter for two arrived. Duplicates of everything including mini creme brûlée, amazing chocolate cake and an assortment of berries too!
Most pleasant was the bill at the end of the night; pricing was no different than if it had been in the regular menu. Thanks Marco and staff for proving that amazing customer service still exists.
Went for Barrielicious and had the 6 plate with wine pairing. This was the best meal I've had since my stay in Europe. Just incredible food and service. Comfy arm chairs to sit in, nice decor.
