Hidden gem in Banff. I came across this bar back in 2012 and so happy it was still there. Not many tourist know about it since it's so hidden and off major traffic route. But has good cheapest draft in town hand downs.

We went to Banff for 4 days after a long hiatus. It had been two years since I had been in a restaurant and I have a lifetime of experience working in them.I lived in Banff for 15 years I was super excited to return. Ws had excellent food everywhere we went and good service. Arriving home all I could think about was how amazing the server was at the Pump. You made my trip. You were outstanding I'm so excited that Danny has you serving in his Pub Above and Beyond!! thise words. When I get home server stands out in my head you know you did a good job!! well done girl well done. Serena for the win

Friendly bar staff and served immediately. Reasonable price for a pint. Limited selection of draft but what they had in tap included all the essentials. Pool tables, slot machines and plenty of TV's. A little tucked away which only helped to add to the atmosphere. Only issue was it is cash only which is only a minor inconvenience when there is a cash machine in the bar. Would definitely return again.
