Hidden gem in Banff. I came across this bar back in 2012 and so happy it was still there. Not many tourist know about it since it's so hidden and off major traffic route. But has good cheapest draft in town hand downs.

We went to Banff for 4 days after a long hiatus. It had been two years since I had been in a restaurant and I have a lifetime of experience working in them.I lived in Banff for 15 years I was super excited to return. Ws had excellent food everywhere we went and good service. Arriving home all I could think about was how amazing the server was at the Pump. You made my trip. You were outstanding I'm so excited that Danny has you serving in his Pub Above and Beyond!! thise words. When I get home server stands out in my head you know you did a good job!! well done girl well done. Serena for the win

Good for drinks, wouldn’t recommend eating here, also it’s cash only which is unusual. Just come get drunk here lol

Friendly bar staff and served immediately. Reasonable price for a pint. Limited selection of draft but what they had in tap included all the essentials. Pool tables, slot machines and plenty of TV's. A little tucked away which only helped to add to the atmosphere. Only issue was it is cash only which is only a minor inconvenience when there is a cash machine in the bar. Would definitely return again.

Don't expect a warm welcome or a British Bar. People playing slot machines (Yes in a pub approx 12 slot machines), only takes cash (Which always raises suspicions) and take away the football shirts on the walls, no resemblence of a British Bar..This bar could be a gold mine with a bit of effort, thought and imagination.

Oh where to start with this place.......let's start with an English pub having zero English or Irish beers on tap. Every beer on tap was a domestic and (in my opinion) low brow beer. As the sign states pints are $4 from Noon to 2AM. However the ONLY beer to qualify was Carling Dark. That's it! VERY misleading We ordered a Belgian Moon and a G&T. As our server put our drinks down he mentions that only cash is accepted. But naturally they have a bank machine which naturally charges an outrageous fee. Hello...we are in the 21st century! Debit/Credit are pretty much the norm. Cost of doing business. The only positive aspect of this place is that a Bombay and tonic was $3.57. Super cheap but not enough for me to ever return nor recommend. Tons of other places to eat and drink at.
