It's a nice place to sit down, have a cup of coffee and spend a lazy afternoon in Banff. The good thing is it is one of the very few places where you actually can have a double espresso shot in small sized drinks like cappuccino. Unlike the other stores where you have to order the large sized drinks to get double espresso shot or pay extra to have the added shot.
The staff is extremely nice. They have pastries as well. They have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements.
The bad thing is the wifi. It is super slow. So don't even think of coming here and working. It's a shame though. Could easily have been one of the top places to sit and get some work done. Other than that the coffee drinks are reasonably priced. The taste is good. Good place for killing some time. Not everyday you wanna do all the hiking :p

Worth a try if you want a less busy coffee place in Banff. Very friendly staff!

Be careful with the name! This place is called "perk" and NOT "park". Overall I enjoyed the coffee and food I purchased here. Everything tasted fresh and well made. A bit tucked away and easy to miss if you're not paying attention.

Visit here every afternoon for my large iced mocha. Guy is so friendly and cheerful. Makes coffee with such care. Knowledgeable about the area too.

Such a cute coffee shop ( if you prefer staying out of the other tourist traps in town). Evan, the owner was super personable and fast to deliver our drinks. Great Chai Latte and Americano!
We will be back

Convenient location, really friendly and accommodating staff. Tea latte is not bad but wifi is unreliable. Good for hanging out, not so good for working remotely
TOMOKO
My favorite cafe in Banff. Staff so nice and friendly. A lot food and drink selections.

I absolutely loved it here! I had been frustrated all weekend with lack of allergy free dining options and National Perk saved the day. The sandwiches are made fresh and can be customized to order which was perfect for removing cheese and the almond vanilla latte was delicious. The chicken gumbo soup was amazing too on the cold day. The service was A+ and there's a small area with tables to eat and people watch. I will absolutely be back!

Amazing friendly service Grant!!! Absolutely amazing veggie burrito! I will be going back for another one tomorrow...until we leave. Try it!

Similar to other Cafes, but has better lattes than most in the Town of Banff. Located on Bear Street, next to the Sundance Parking Lot and adjacent to a private parking garage entrance, therein lies a small coffee shop called “Cake Company Café.” Husband and I tried the Maple Syrup Latte and their Triple Chocolate Brownie; the brownie was delicious (though a little pricey at $3 for a small piece) and the coffee was decent with additional sugar. It’s one of the better lattes in Banff. Other prices and drinks were not the most impressive (price hovered around $5), but they do have Free Wi-Fi. For better and unique teas and coffee, go to David’s Tea Company – we believe they have the best hot drinks in Banff!

Good Coffee and Pastries. A nice friendly alternative to the national chain. Coffee is very good and the chocolate-banana cake is excellent. Relaxed atmosphere with good service.
