So amazing, every dish, each wine selection - amazing! We wish we had m stayed more to have try more stuff on the menu.
I ordered the lamb chop - from a whole lamb; there are 8 or 9 or them. And I eat every piece. Sooo good - text book for the term juicy and tender.

We LOVE enjoying a coffee by the fireplace and most recently a lunch and dessert with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The service is top notch and you will not be disappointed.

BEST DINNER I HAVE EVER HAD! The service was excellent. The view was spectacular. But the food stole the show. Not only was everything delicious, but the presentation was incredible! It is incredibly obvious that the chef here pours their soul into the dishes they create.
Had breakfast the next morning and was again impressed with the flavour,, options, and food quality.
Can't wait to come back!

Had a Rocky Start to our stay @RimrockResortHotel but PJ made it aaaalll better! His signature cocktail was Delish, service was awesome and the food was amazing! Little extra touches like a pre-dinner treat and an after-dinner champagne for my birthday were so thoughtful! Thanks PJ for the Fabulous Experience!

The host was incredible ( sorry I didn't catch his name) and our server julie was exceptional. The service is 5 stars. The food was excellent (duck and pasta bar).

Good, not great. It was pretty empty when we were there, hence the atmosphere was a bit weird. Food was good, but nothing exceptional. It's not bad, but not worth the price.

As usual!! The Primrose restaurant had us, our full tummies and our satisfied palates saying, “Wow!”
The Primrose restaurant is on the sixth floor of the Rimrock Hotel in Banff. As such, the views of the mountains and the hotel grounds are spectacular. We came for breakfast this morning and were seated by the window. The attentiveness of our host and servers made us feel extremely welcome. Despite these difficult Covid times everyone displayed a smile and pleasant demeanour with perfect class. We enjoyed the Mountain Breakfast and the Grizzly Pancakes. As you can see from the photos these dishes were simply a work of art! We also enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit juices and some of the best coffee you’ll find anywhere. The quality of the ingredients, such as the choice of fruit and bacon Could never be found in your neighbourhood supermarket. The quality is above and beyond.
Truly, the Primrose Restaurant is one of my very best happy places.

Two stars for both the food itself and the view but I had to take some marks off for the overall value and tendency to upsell.
For example, we ordered orange juice and the waiter gave us an off menu option of having it freshly squeezed. What we didn’t know is that this upsell would be 4x the price, almost the same as having a dish. This is way too much of difference considering a dish here is only about 4 dollars more and can feed two people.
The brunch itself gives you an additional feeling in terms of lack of value, unless you’re going to go through 3 stacked plates you’ll end up eating the same amount if not less than an a la carte menu item.
I think the place can benefit from being more transparent, and having some price adjustments to make the menu items more comparable and valuable.
