Was greeted warmly upon entering and quickly seated. Very friendly and attentive server. I had The Roast Beef sandwich. The meat was tender and delicious. The toasted baguette was a bit too toasty and difficult to bite. I avoid gluten, anyway, so I enjoyed the meat with my fork. I had the warm house potato salad. I really liked it, but couldn't quite figure out the ingredients! Also had a glass of the proprietor's red. Went well with the beef. As John Catucci said, "You gotta eat here!"
Super friendly staff/bartender that was welcoming and funny! I’m a plain pizza/one topping kind of girl so I was hesitant when I saw the menus. Absolutely delicious pizza with lots of yummy toppings! Oil and honey for dipping is a genius combination! Must go place to eat when visiting Banff!!
No expectations. Sat at the bar. Amazing bartender. Pizza was to die for. Did the honey, garlic oil recommended trick. Not disappointed. Would recommend/ go back if I did not

Awesome beer and wine menu, and excellent pizza! Cozy little place, really enjoyed it. Try the honey and chili oil that they offer to use with the pizza. It's awesome.
Definitely some of the best pizza in Alberta!!! Worth the drive all the way from rocky for the food and friendly service!!!
We had two meals here and on both occasions the waiter and waitress knew the menu and what the dishes contained .We had local beers and like the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff

We were referred by friends and were not disappointed. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. The rosemary chilli infused oil with honey was a life changing pizza dipping sauce!! If you’re in Banff, this is a must!!!

We had two pizzas and both were amazing. Their chilli sauce and honey sauce made the pizza extra special. Prices where a bit high but the foods was amazing
The viva la Mac and cheese is AMAZING. The pizza and beer are pretty good too. Glad we stopped in before leaving Banff!

Hands down the BEST gluten free pizza I've ever had. Highly recommend. Also, not only is the patio dog friendly, but they also have a dog menu! Fantastic staff, great atmosphere, I would definitely go out of my way to go back there next time I'm in Banff.
My husband and I tried the Bear Street Tavern while visiting Banff and we had it for take out. First off the server we dealt with was very nice. The drinks we ordered were amazing, we wish we could get these in Ottawa. The pizza was good as well as the garlic fingers.
Our server Jessie was awesome. She brought a bowl of water and dog blanket for my little TOTO. The courtyard patio was perfect for cold weather. This is a great pet friendly restaurant in Banff. Highly recommended !! Oh, pizza was delicious too. Don’t forget to put chili oil and honey on your crust. 10/10 here!
Staff were very nice. Setting was comfortable. Cutlery and table were very clean. Had the spin dip and Hawaiian pizza. Definitrly try the hot oil and honey! The chips were super salty but the dip was excellent and the pizza was quite good as well.
We visited Banff for the weekend and upon our arrival at the hotel, the front desk personnel saw us looking at a pizza flyer. She recommended Bear Street Tavern for their $12 special pizza night (Sunday and Tuesday nights from 5pm on).
The hostess was very prompt and friendly. We were seated quickly. We ordered the Wheeler Hut and was given honey and chili oil to dip the pizza in. It was delicious! Pizza was served piping hot and the crust was the best I've ever had. Not oily and perfectly crispy. We ended with the sticky toffee pudding.
Worth a trip in for sure! We will be back!
One of the most delicious gluten free pizzas I’ve ever had! The honey & chilli oil combo that they give you to dip your pizza in is a great touch and addition to the pizza! Will definitely stop by again
Visited on a Sunday evening at 8 pm early June and the place was packed. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Ordered the Caesar salad and margarita pizza - both delicious. First time trying honey and chili oil on top of the pizza.
Service was excellent and not rushed.
Would return next time I am in Banff.
