Food was absolutely fantastic. I had the bison short ribs. Fell off the bone tender. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of all the menu items and the drink menu. I would highly recommend checking this place out. We will be returning!

The eggs Benny are the best in town. I've eaten every breakfast option and this is hands my new fave. Tea biscuit instead of English muffin benny is the game changer. Fresh ingredients. Foodies enjoy!! Tip: Book a res and avoid the line!

This place is great. Our waiter Blake, as well as all the other staff, were great. We asked him a lot of questions and he was so nice and explained a lot about how the dishes are prepared and about the flavors etc etc. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend you make a reservation and dine here.

Great place to go for delicious and unique cocktails and shareable tapas-style dishes to enjoy and prepare your palet as the meal gets started. Has bison shortrib for dinner which was unreal. Most important we were treated just amazing by our knowledgeable server Mark. Thanks for the great service Mark! We’ll be back!

Amazing food served at the right temperature. Sunny evening, the view of mountains with tender bison chops!! One suggestion, restaurant that yields experience and ambience must serve Bread while folks waiting for the food!!

Wow. In Banff you can have a five star meal, with equally enjoyable service. The first part requires a creative, well-designed menu. The second might require luck. I had the same server both nights, so I can't judge the staff in general, but my server was great. The meals displayed a creative use of locally sourced ingredients. It was a treat.

To finish off our long weekend trip my boyfriend and I went to Bison for dinner and exactly as our waiter Joel said - we were in for a treat! :) Service was lovely, Caesars were really really good (my boyfriend actually said that it was arguably the best one he's had yet) and the food... Oh my God the food!! I ordered the tenderloin and he ordered the bison and both of them were just spectacular meals. Highly recommended and I'm already planning when we can go back! :)

An annual tradition for my fiancé and I. First skating at Lake Louise and then dinner at the Bison. Thoroughly impressed this year! The food was amazing right from the appetizers to the port and cheesecake finish. Highly recommend the Escargot In a Bone. We will definitely be back next year!

Let me start by saying I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. They entirely set a new baseline for customer service for us last night. My partner has. Some dietary restrictions so I had called weeks in advance. They followed up the call three days before the night of dining. And when we arrived, the host and the server were both made aware of the restrictions. They went way out of their way to make her night extremely special. They server was extremely attentive and humerous without being overbearing. The food... Well, we've been here before and I'd dare say this may be the best steak experience I've had this year. Incredible flavor, great temperature of food upon delivery and fabulous presentation. The ambience of the place is extremely lively. All around, top marks across the board. Don't miss an opportunity to visit The Bison.

For those who want to try the actual BISON meat, this is the best place to dine and savour it! Non red meat lovers, don’t forget to order their perfectly crisp slice of bread to enjoy with the sauce their other dishes may come with! Not forget their level 2 restaurant comes with outdoor dining to enjoy during spring and view of the stunning surrounding mountains in Banff!

It was one of the best restaurants in Banff, almost full when we arrived. When they knew we were only here for one night, got us a seat at the bar. The handsome guy at the bar patiently introduces us the most popular appetizers and special set: char-grilled bison. The bison cooked in a very special way before roasted, which gives the crispy outside and juicy, tender inside, tasty!

It almost reminds me of a tavern or a pub the aesthetic inside - in a very tasteful and cute way. The food was amazing, from the appetizers to the main dishes, if they have the super large dish for the table to share with all the different meats I highly recommend it, we really enjoyed it!

The Bison ribeye was the best steak I've ever had. And I've eaten some amazing steaks around the globe. The flavour com of were simply amazing. We also had the burrata which was very good. My wife had the Bison gnocchi which was okay but for us we wished there was a bit of sauce qith it along with a bit more salt. I started the meal with an smoked old fashion and it was also the best old fashion I've ever had. Though it is pricy the atmosphere, the food, the live music and our waiter did an amazing job.

Came here for our anniversary dinner. There was a bit of a wait when we arrived despite reservations. The patio was warm with the heat lamps. Great ambiance and view. The service was great as well, very friendly server. Whether you are a meat eater or vegetarian, the food was delicious. We had the beet salad and wood fried zucchini to start, the rigatoni and bison ribeye as mains, and shared the chocolate cake (if you love chocolate, highly recommend, so good). The cocktails, although a bit pricey, were pretty good too.

Elk Tartare, Scallop Crudo, wood fired brome duck, smoked trout… but the **main event** had to be the Bison platter!! It had the bison ribeye, short rib and sausages! It was incredible!! Ps. The Caesar was soooo good!!

Atmosphere: Chic modern with open concept kitchen. Food: 5/5 - The beet salad, bison short ribs and chocolate cake are a must! Solid drinks as well. Ordered the apple sour and Caesar. Service: 5/5 - Attentive staff and quick service. Highly recommend if you're visiting Banff. Prices are high but totally worth it.
