I really like the vibe here, plus the drink menu is fun and tasty! 5 stars for the complimentary and house-made tortilla chips and salsa, which are delicious and really go well with a starter drink. Great idea to keep you munching from when you sit down to when your food arrives! Overall, great cocktails, taps, service, atmosphere, and some tasty food. The Mexican bulldogs and fuzzy peach are great. The fajitas are excellent and well known to be so. It is a bit pricey, but it's worth it. You can share most entrees. Avoid the burgers though, frozen and dry, but taste like Harvey's. Will continue to be back here. Recommended!

My sister and I had never been to this restaurant before and decided to try it. We had a really great experience in every possible sense. The food was spectacular (we had crocodile bites, and portobello fajitas). Fresh and full of flavour. The real treat was how friendly and amazing the entire staff were. From the hostess to the waitresses to the manager, everyone interacted with us and made our experience phenomenal. Can’t recommend it enough!

The best dining experience I have had in a long time. From the moment we walked in the door to when we walked out! The young girl who greeted us was so friendly and seemed happy to be doing her job. Our server Phoenix was OUTSTANDING. He was patient with my mother as she was having difficulty with ordering. He was attentive and seemed very happy to be doing his job. It's been far too long since we have experienced such outstanding care and service! Now, this feeling was even before our food arrived. Now the food is a whole other thing. The food was excellent. The steak for the fajitas was fantastic, cooked to perfection. It's better than any steak I have ordered at famous steakhouses. It melted in your mouth like butter. The fish tacos we delicious, and the fish had a very light coating that did not take away from the taste of everything else. We were differently surprised at how wonderful our experience was. We will certainly be returning to this location of Texas Lone Star! I wish that other restaurants could use this one as a guideline on how service should be! Phoenix deserves our praise for his service and his happy, helpful attitude. How wonderful dining out would be if all servers were like Phoenix. I had my birthday dinner here a few nights ago and it was my first time going to a Lone Star. I ordered the 14oz Boneless Steak with mash potatoes and it had to be one of the best meals I have had in awhile. It melted in my mouth. I’m usually a Keg guy for steaks and this one beat those. My partner had the strip loin and hers was nice a soft and delicious too. My son had the chicken and fries. The chicken was a bit spicy which I thought was odd for a kids meal but the chicken was really good. They were all cooked perfect and out in a timely matter. Hats off to the chefs in the kitchen. The best thing was the experience at this restaurant. The activity sheet they had for the kids/family was great. Lots of games to play. One of the better ones I’ve seen. The waitstaff was on the ball and we’re very friendly from when we walked in the door until we left when 3-4 must of said “thanks for coming hope you enjoyed it”. That was really nice and even my son commented on how friendly everyone was. Overall this was an awesome birthday dinner. They all did a great job. I will for sure be coming back with friends and family and this might be my new favourite spot.

Addendum: we returned today for lunch. The wine was good and available. They had a new appy and lunch menu. They weren’t ready with the jalapeño poppers I ordered so I chose a different appetizer. I was happy with the avocado appy. The wings were good as well and it was a good addition that they had them breaded and unbreaded. This trip was a great improvement to the last visit. I wanted to try the tortilla shells again but chose wings for my meal instead and was pleased with my choice. I did find they made a good effort and the service and food was up to par. I would recommend this restaurant now for a casual family fare or a meal with friends. We will try the bar side next time for a quick beverage and bite. Thanks to the management and staff for their improved effort and time they spent in order to make the visit a memorable one for us. The service wasn’t good. The girl was nice but disorganized. We ordered a bottle and she came back awhile later and told us they didn’t have it. We then ordered a second choice and she came back a short time later and stated they didn’t have it either. They had the third selection I made but brought it to the table with two glasses with water in them (she rinced them and left them soaking wet inside and out and both glasses had water inside them). She didn’t pour the wine. She didn’t offer us water. I had to ask for napkins and cutlery for our meals after the food arrived in front of the manager. I asked for no rice and she brought rice. The manager did come over prior to our meals arriving and apologized for not having the wine we ordered twice. The server told us while we were paying that she had to go out and buy a corkscrew as they didn’t have one! Thoroughly underwhelming experience. I don’t think we will return. I always enjoyed their freshly made tortillas in the past and was looking forward to having them but even they were all thick and squished and folded onto themselves rendering it difficult to fill and roll without covering myself in food drippings.

The food was amazing, very tasty and great portions. Lily’s service was fantastic. Very attentive and not overbearing. Great experience
