Had a great experience at the Golden Star. Portions are very large. Wonton soup was steaming and the special was almost too much to eat! I asked for some veggies and the waitress brought out my order with perfectly cooked veggies. Very happy and the price is right! I'll be back.
This restaurant has the best staff! We've been semi regulars here and the food is awesome! If you come with 1-2 people, get the combos for the best price, other wise, get the dinners! Stop in for a beer too if you want!
This quirky Chinese-take-out-meets-sports-bar might not be everyone's cup of tea, but as a local who often comes by for their Wednesday $4 special, it's one of my favourite places. The restaurant is family owned and the people who run it are friendly and like to be familiar with their regular custom
This is a Kingston classic. John Tse is a fantastic cook. The family helps run the restaurant. It's actually on County road 33 in Amherstview
Always pleasant service and specials are great, when John first moved there rice wasn't great but now it's excellent.
I've known John, the owner , many years. His food is always good with no surprises.
