First time eating here. Place was not busy for dine in. Made me a little concerned as to why. But: after we sat down we saw a steady stream of guests ordering takeout and the phone was busy. We all ordered fish and chips.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food came quickly, ample portions and overall a very good experience.
The only negative point from me is I had haddock and chips. There was more batter than I like with my fish, but others had the halibut and the batter seemed right for the size of the fish filet.
Prices were fair.
We will eat there again.

Very delicious halibut, fries and coleslaw (I usually hate coleslaw but this is good). Came in on a Monday at 8PM and was pleasantly surprised that there was a Sunday & Monday Halibut Special for $7 (1 pc of Halibut, big portion of fries, and coleslaw). Staff are very friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back!
I’ve been here twice. Once when it opened, and more recently on a Wednesday. The Halibut and the Cod are delicious, the fries are golden, and the coleslaw is also nice and creamy. I mentioned Wednesday bc they have a mid-week special and it was only $9 for the cod that usually costs about $13. Great deal, nice folks, and good environment. Gone fishin’! Decent price and portion. Would be nice to have more than a shot glass of coleslaw.
