Halibut House Fish & Chips - Alliston - Photo album

First time eating here. Place was not busy for dine in. Made me a little concerned as to why. But: after we sat down we saw a steady stream of guests ordering takeout and the phone was busy. We all ordered fish and chips. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food came quickly, ample portions
To be honest I have gone to three different locations. After first visit and prices i decided that I would definitely never go back, every time i go its a repeating thing. This one multiple times Keep in mind that I go because of the company I keep. Is the food terrible. No. Are the prices good. Meh.
The fish and chips were very dry. Coleslaw was just shredded cabbage and carrots, no dressing. Will never eat there again. Only plus side was our lovely waitress.
The best fish and chips. The portions are great. The food was amazing. The staff are super friendly. Busy store. Order ahead
Very delicious halibut, fries and coleslaw (I usually hate coleslaw but this is good). Came in on a Monday at 8PM and was pleasantly surprised that there was a Sunday & Monday Halibut Special for $7 (1 pc of Halibut, big portion of fries, and coleslaw). Staff are very friendly and attentive. I would
I’ve been here twice. Once when it opened, and more recently on a Wednesday. The Halibut and the Cod are delicious, the fries are golden, and the coleslaw is also nice and creamy. I mentioned Wednesday bc they have a mid-week special and it was only $9 for the cod that usually costs about $13. Great
Decent price and portion. Would be nice to have more than a shot glass of coleslaw.
Very pricey for deep fried fish. Tasted good. But the price makes you hope for more
